Requirements

Only ONE of these models are required.

KEY: ELS: Emergency Lighting System, AFP: Aussie Flash Patterns

Installation
Assuming that you already have the one of the above already installed.

This version comes with two variants, a solid blue and transparent backgrounds for you to choose which one you would like in game.

NOTE:
Some vehicles support multi liveries even if it only has one installed by default,
take note of what the default livery is called (usually something like 'carname_sign_1'),
rename the skin within to 'carname_sign_2' and use a trainer to choose your new livery.

  1. Navigate to mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday3ng/dlc.rpf/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf with OpenIV

  2. Locate 'police2.ytd'(or whichever police slot you've replaced) and open it.

  3. Find 'evoke_sign_1' and (if VF SS by Donnzy replace 'vfss_sign_1' also) replace it with 'SAPOL_TrafficServices(HWP).png' or the solid variant that is included.

  4. Click save, then launch GTA and enjoy.

What's New in Version 1.1

Released

  • Fixed a lot  discrepancies that where within the skin thanks to some South Australian locals for giving me access to some highly detailed images to rectify this.
    [ Check Credits ]
  • Added two variants of the skin, one solid blue with the decals to mimic the real life vehicles and one transparent for those who wish to mix it up a little and have different colours (requires carcols edits for default police car colours, not included so for now use a trainer like Menyoo to change vehicles colour.)

Hi,

Firstly, thank you for the efforts.

I have a problem when I use  SAPOL_TrafficServices(HWP).png  to replace the texture, I have to manually change the color to black in order to get it look like what it actually is, any idea how to solve it?

solid one is fine.

I use Menyoo trainer to change colours and I have not experienced this, it is possible that the trainer you're using also applies a Pearl top coat which renders your issue?
I will download another trainer (if you could let me know which one you use so I can test it out) and see what i find.

pretty sure simple trainer applies pearl when you change primary colours.

Enhanced Native Trainer or Menyoo that I know of do not do this (unless you want them too).
