after ELS stopped i basically cleaned house and started fresh , iv been trying to find out what ones exactly but i didnt really pay close attention to it, right now i have cars from The Snohomish County Sheriff Mega Pack and some unmarked cars from POLICECO never any issues before as i have used evey car i have at least once before and doesn't look like they have updated anything that would have made a problem going to keep trying with "oft 101" idea and hopefully it will work , going to give it a try now will keep you guys updated thanks for the help so far

we have success !!!!! "oft 101" idea seemed to work , what ended up working i think was after i did a shut down on my computer before i started rage for first time i reinstalled the ASI loader in OpenIV and it worked , i have no clue why it happened , the only half ass idea was i know i put Visual V in most recently is there anything that could cause a conflict ? iv used it before but it was from the one on GTA5mods site not the one on LCPDFR that was most recently posted , had it for a week with no issues , hopefully can figure out what caused it cuz i have no idea , im not very experienced with the complicated side of LSPDFR Plugins and only know the basic, if anyone has any ideas on why it happened be great to figure it out to avoid it happening in the future , Thanks "viperwolf" and "oft 101" for your ideas and help   EDIT: i did change out oldpolice1 and the sheriff slots , from other posts it seems like changing the sheriff slots are causing the problem ?

I was asking about vehicles, bc i use JJdawkins and thehurks. I swap them things out like crazy, everywhere. I even experimented by mixing JJ and hurks xmls.  I sitll have no issues, i know that OIV had a recent update to v2.905 i think.

However, thinking about it, I recently uninstalled and reinstalled ELS.

@acapolcogold I'm glad it worked for you, and I believe I run visual v from gtav mods also. I use everything, well almost everything that Jeff Favignano uses on his LSPDFR. I myself change cars out left and right, so I don't know if that may be part of the problem or not. But so far I haven't had any luck researching what could cause this problem. But like you said maybe someone on here would know, because I myself would like to know what is causing it because I don't want to be doing that very often.  

@Lt.Caine I think there may be a problem with ELS. Many people are having an Issue with backup not responding with lights. Video of what is happening: 

have you tried different vehicles, maybe its the vehicles xml? Im not sure just trying to  give an idea. ELS is working for me. If you want, ill download that exact vehicle and install in the same place you have it. Ill need to know the download source.

I am having an issue where the AdvancedHookV file is making my RageHook not start. I have tried everything from reinstalling the game, to switching out different files. Everything seems to work until I install the ELS files, than everything but ragehook works. Anyone else have these difficulties ? 

EDIT: Apparently many people have been having this issue. For some reason I never thought to go to the end of the comments.... idiot I know. But the cars I have installed are all in my Patchday 14. I just found it easier to manage when i need to change something rather than install them into their readme destinations. The models all seem to work perfectly fine. Except the ELS is still crashing the ragehook.

ALL mods are ELS compatible. ALL models have an XML File. 

I added the CVPI first. Seemed to work. Than I just started adding models and didn't really keep track. Problem is when i first noticed that it wasn't working I did something than it worked but only for one instance. The 2nd time I started the game RageHook didn't load.

UPDATE: So I just removed all of the models except the POLICE CVPI, I also replaced all of the ELS files with the exception of ELS XML folder. The game fired up and RageHook started as intended. I played for a bit, ELS working fine. However when I restarted the game, without ANY modification made from previous session, RageHook and ELS is no longer working??!?!?! 

UPDATE 2.0: My issue is not with ELS.... i just removed it completely and RageHook still not firing up. :(

Im not sure how ELS would just stop working right. RHP did not update and ELS has not updated. So it has to be something outside of those effecting it. Can you think of the last thing you updated or installed? Im just guessing ofcourse, nothing has changed in ELS sense Jan 10. my vehicles are in patchday14 aswell. Maybe a file or vehicle you installed has overwritten an API/Dll or something to an older version?

I took a break from GTA V at the end of 2016. I love ELS but after I have everything installed, ScripthookV and AdvancedHookV wont work with each other. I take ScripthookV out and my game loads. I take out AdvancedHookV and my game loads but, when they are both in the game folder my game crashes. Anyone help?

I've read the read me and everything..HOW do i turn off scan? when ever i activate my sirens or get out of the car, my light patterns change from what i set them too..its annoying. and if press CTRL-P it says SCN under my lights if siren is activated.

I think you have to change that in the xml, i hope someone with better knowledge will chime in. there should be 3 areas warning, primary and secondary.

how can i change the siren sounds to different sounds for example siren 1  move a different sound to siren 1

My backup respondswithout lights I have no idea why. Anyone help?

Idk how much help this will be to people who have a complicated setup filled with custom vehicles and such, but for those of you who are either rebuilding or starting new with ELS, download Albo's Custom Modding DLC. Basically, it lets you put everything in one location instead of figuring out patchdays and readmes and things like that. It's very simple and will save you a ton of stress. Quite possibly might get ELS working again for some of you. I've used it and I've never had any problems with ELS.

For those of you who are having trouble with having absolutely zero lights at all, go to OIV>Tools and uninstall the ASI manager, then re-install it and reload GTA. That fixed it for me.

Can anyone tell me how to activate alley lights ? Thanks 

I'm having a small issue with the mod. It doesn't want to load in. I placed everything in the Main GTA V folder as instucted, but the KEYs don't work. Anyone know what's the issue? I'm using the 1.05 version!

re download it for a fresh copy, then try dragging file to desktop, then into directory. You probably already know this, sometimes the drag and drop from zip files dont load correctly.

Most of the mods Ive used the headlights/alley/scene lights are the H key on keyboard.

Is there a way to set an xml file up so that a car will always have its lights on? Long story short, I'm attempting to do a tribute car and would like to have the lights automatically be on when the car spawns, instead of me having to manually turn them on every time. I would love to know if anybody knows how to do this, or whether it's even possible. Thanks all.

I'm not talking like a steady burn, I want it to be like normal stage 2 or 3 lighting and have the car spawn in while on that light stage. My apologies for not clarifying

Hello I love your ELS but i have problem 

first before install ELS Traffic AIs are became dumb I have changed ElsTrafCtrlOn = true to false then Ai not stopped when i try pull over 

even Police Ai's police vehicle has no siren and ELS I install add-on following user manual. but it has error right this :/ can you help for me?

Did you try scrollock, I think that is the key that locks and unlocks functions. Is that what you er talking about?
