I've did what @fire2903rescue says in this post – lInk and all lights work fine. I use the CVPI on police slot. :)

i have the 2011 crown vic lasd/lssd v1.4a installed in the sheriffs spot and i tried to over wright it with this mod but for some reason when i get into the game the old version that i thought i over wrote is still there. Can anyone help?

I install all cars in patchday11 which is the latest and everything works fine. Try to install it there if it is not .oiv package.

Depending on the OIV install you chose when you installed it,, It may also be installed to POLICE4 also .And  If your Using RDE "Realism Dispatch Enhanced" its in there also.  And it seems that RDE cars take Priority over any of the others.

thanks for adding all blue now just your charger needs an all blue option.

Hey bugs. I used the package installer and for some reason when I launch my regular game, I can spawn it in no problem, but when I use RPH for LSPDFR it wont spawn your car. Any ideas?

In the previous version, you didn't use a package installer, can you include a manual install file too?

Love the new car and i installed as DLC with the install package. I noticed a problem though, I can walk through the car. 

Love how it installs Bugz  ,Easy to take out if you don't like it.  For me the Flash pattern made me dizzy, and I already did the Blue lights on your Last Liberty light bar , looks awesome.  But again, I love the way you packaged this car,, Its perfect in case I want it out easy and all the files are there if I want to   Manual,y replace it with one of the Stock vanilla cars. Nice work Man .

Has anyone been able to place this car in the police slot with the new light pattern? I placed it in the vehicle.rpf in the new directory and added proper carviations.. no dice

First off, @Bxbugs123 Again nice work. I love the new custom lighting pattern created for this cvpi in the carcols. I heard/saw/assume Jeff Faviagno has managed to get other custom carcols for your vehicles, such as the charger. I was curious. Because the new siren/lighting value is "704" if we change the carvariation files of your other vehicles to match that setting will that implement the lighting pattern also into you other vehicles, or am I reaching??

You're gonna need bxliberty2 as a dlcpack within MODS>UPDATE>X64>DLCPACKS (I suggest using the installer for the sheriff model as it doesn't affect anything else since it makes its own DLC.rpf folder)

Once done.

1) Open OpenIV

2) Navigate to MODS>UPDATE>X64>DLCPACKS >BXLIBERTY2

3) Open carvariations.meta with Notepad++

4) Copy ALL of the text between <ITEM> and </ITEM>

4b) Paste and edit the model name to reflect 'police"

4c) Save it and drag it back into the folder.

That's literally it. As long as you take the 4 files from the .oiv folder and put them INTO the BXLIBERTY2 folder or IT WILL NOT WORK.

If I missed something or you need help, message me I'll do what I can.

Works with his CVPI, CVPI Slicktop and Charger.

Do we have to edit anything or with all currently installed (charger in police 2, slicktop cvpi in police 4 and his lapd charger in FBI) will it just work anyway. The slicktop looks pretty much the same to me to be honest. I also have his unmarked impala in police 1.

All I did was copy the sheriff lines in the car variations file he has in the bxliberty2 dlc folder and pasted them in the line and changed the model name to whichever I wanted it to reflect and placed the file back in and it worked fine. 

If you would like to use this vehicle under another slot beside's sheriff all you need to do is export the carvariations.meta in "bxliberty2" dlc.rpf after installing the version you want, open it with notepad/notepad++ change "sheriff" to the slot you want. 2nd rename the vehicle files to that slot.

I just think everyone is craving ELS. Since you and captain14 have started teasing us with variations in the carcols with custom lighting, ELS is on everyone's tongues.

Got it working for police, police4, FBI and police 2 (only a small change on the lssd V1.2L, the dash coronas changes from red and blue to white) which is no big deal. but the pattern looks clean on everything. Thanks for the help.
