This will be the first, and short hand release of Repeat Offender series - while I do plan to add more callouts to it, and polish the first one (possible vehicle breaking and entering), I decided since I'm low on time to let everyone have a go at it.  It currently ONLY SPAWNS in the city area, more so in the Davis/Hood area in the southern side of the city.  

 

What to expect : 

Real police work.  In short.  You'll have to pay close attention to the suspect (if you find him) and go from there.  Pressing F5 will GIVE YOU OPTIONS.  Sometimes the subject of the call did nothing wrong.

 

What can happen?  I'll talk about a few out comes because there are literally over 200 different things...

  • Subject runs on sight of police
  • Subject is innocent and hasn't done anything wrong
  • Subject attempts to attack player (sometimes a fatal attack, sometimes not)
  • Subject attempts to drop drugs or stolen items without the player seeing (back track your footchases before calling 10-8!) THESE ITEMS ARE SMALL, YOU'RE THE POLICE, GET YOUR FLASH LIGHT OUT AND GO FIND IT!  Heroin bags, illegal prescriptions, crack pipes, small stolen wallets, he will try to ditch things (SOMETIMES, NOT ALWAYS) Keep that in mind... collected evidence YIELDS POINTS!

Sometimes you cannot take any legal action against the person if you didn't see anything.  When you 10-8 from the call, you'll get a brief of how well you've done.  You can arrest (detain the person) if you wish, however, if you decide not to charge them, releasing them will not count as a negative arrest.  

Callouts are entirely way to straight forward so far, lets change that.

 

Future improve plans :

Implement a proper points system with Albo (and storing / protecting points)

Improve calling the registered owner mechanics / handling

Add ability to request K9 if subject dropped items / might have dropped items while fleeing

Improve brief screen on arrest (brain storming ideas still.)

Whatever else the community says that makes practical / logical police work sense to add into the callout.  I already have additional callouts PLANNED however.

 

 

What's New in Version 1.17

Released

Added ability to set Menu Key in the INI (had a few free minutes)

Decided to increase the buffer zone slightly for callout (will trigger more) MOSTLY HAPPENS IN DAVIS/CHAMBERLAINHILLS AREA, However, can spawn in Vespucci, Pillbox, and Downtown.

Assorted Callouts by Albo1125 was causing this for me during testing, the best thing to do is remove each plugin from the LSPDFR folder one by one until you find the cause.

Out of all of the callout mods, this one is the best for the simply fact that it is true to life.  I know a lot of mod makers put in hard work on their mods and I am in no way taking anything away from them.  This mod here bring real world police work to this game by making the callout basic police work, police work is not an episode of COPS, it's the boring stuff.  It is the responding to a 911 hang-up call or trespassing at a store, or burglary alarm (delayed).  I think the callouts that have the drug dealers and gang shootouts are very unrealistic.  Keep up the good work author of this mod, if you continue work on this mod, please incorporate the boring stuff, because it is 95% of police work.  Again, no offense to any of the other mod makers, you are truly blessed because I would love to be able to do what you guys already know how to do.

    the same I in green I get these inserts also not strange 4h game time

    the mod is the hammer and real police work is always good, but I wish the time the dll so come join the inserts

    nah I was just messing around.. I've gotten Repeat Offender callout twice.. the first time I screwed it up and got to close, but the 2nd time was a freaking blast! I hope other developers take a good look at this Callout as well as the solicitation Callout when it comes out.. The interactive Menus are pretty immersive..

    Go down near Davis Street, its like the southern part of the map, that is where I got Repeat Offender 2 times.. About 20 minutes apart.

    I don't think the frequency of the Callout is high, I could be wrong, but how many other Callouts do you have installed?

    I just kept spamming X to force Callouts, maybe I just got lucky.. Try patrolling near Davis and Force Callouts with X
