Yet Another Partner Mod for LSPDFR extends Your game experience by :

  • selectable partner among policemen,
  • partner will attack, when shots are fired, closest attacker - if he was in following mode,
  • You can order partner to attack closest attacking/fleeing/covering Ped, if ped is fleeing he will chase him, and kill him
  • If Ped who attacked is under arrest or is arrested partner will hold aim, but will stop shooting, until suspect arrest is done, then he will go back to car - if previously was in follow mode,
  • You can order partner to follow You (he will get into Your vehicle when You get in, or get out, when You get out),
  • You can order partner to halt, he will stop all actions, and wait for further orders,
  • You can order partner to arrest closest suspect, partner will equip weapon, hold aim, and force suspect to knee, and put hands on neck,
  • When player has been revived in hospital, partner will get last car and drive to hospital (it can take some time) - NEEDS TESTING,
  • When Partner is dead or was accidentally despawned You can get a new one,

To select a partner after going on-duty, walk close to any police officer and press select key (default NumPad0 - for rest of configurable keybindings look inside provided *.ini file), partner will follow You, and will be under Your command. Until he dies, he is in the same group as You, under Your command. When he dies go to nearest police station or any policeman on street and select him to repeat process.

Why I have written this plugin if there are others like this ? Because I wanted to do it myself, my way.
There are no plans for including into this mod any callouts, or ambient events, except partner itself. This mod is focused on partner only.

Requires :

 -   Rage Plugin Hook 0.52 (may work on older versions)
 -   LSPDFR 0.3.1

Installation :

- unpack archive file with plugin (7-zip),

- copy "YetAnotherPartnerMod.dll" and "YetAnotherPartnerMod.ini" file to Your GTA5/Plugins/LSPDFR directory

- LSPDFR will load plugin

Please do not re-upload this plugin to other sites as You do not have My permission to do so. 

This plugin is Work In Progress - see this thread for development details and discussion :

Future development :

  • add vehicle service stations for lspd and lssd, so player can repair vehicle in more RP-way
  • add ability to heal in clinic, if player is injured (for better RP)

I have two problems. Sometime; I'm shooting suspects and my partner fleeing. Why my partners only use shotgun? and very important problems, when I dead LSPDFR crashed. But I like this mod. Thanks Man ı wait your reply

Thank you for report. YAPM has been recently updated for newest RPH. Should be working now again. I'll look into this problem.

Ya, seems my Partner just randomly disappears.. Ill go on a call, chase a suspect and get back to my car and my partner will be nowhere to be found. Sometimes they will just disappear while I'm driving.

 

Everything is up to date, my game doesn't crash or anything.

Using most of Albo1125's mods and couple others nothing big just like Police search and some callouts.

    In some more extensive play testing I noticed that partner which disapeared will sometimes return back. I'm investigating this issue. Thanks for more information about this. If you would like to paste ragepluginhook.log file, it would help narrow down issue.

    After a while it needs more testing, since some code changed in GTAV itself. If its not working for you as expected, I could view your ragepluginhook.log file, if you wish. I recall it was working, but apparently its not working now as earlier.

    I figured out when exactly the partner is disappearing. The same thing happens with Herocop script too.. I'm using Assorted Callouts with it and it has callouts where there are shoplifting or robberies inside stores. So when I enter the store the Partner will follow and Disappear Right when they hit the door. So it's a conflict with the 2 scripts im assuming.

    After a while it needs more testing, since some code changed in GTAV itself. If its not working for you as expected, I could view your ragepluginhook.log file, if you wish. I recall it was working, but apparently its not working now as earlier.

    RagePluginHook.log When ever I click my hotkey for arrest it says "Partner is now following you" instead :(

    I have the same problem, the partner disappears from my car a few seconds after driving away from the police station.

    Repro steps:

    - Start the game (plugins are loaded automatically)

    - ForceDuty

    - GoToPD

    - Hit num 0 next to the closest cop

    - Enter a police car, the partner follows me inside

    - Drive away, the partner disappears after a few seconds.

    I like the fact that it is just a partner script. Nothing more...Nothing less... :smile:

    I've had issues where my partner just flat out refuses to assist in gunfights. He just stands in front of the car, more often than not blocking me and not assisting. Even putting them on "attack enemies" doesn't make any difference. The only time they actually start shooting is once I've killed/arrested the suspect (In the arrest occasions they will actually run up to and shotgun the suspect whilst I am in the handcuffing animation, although often stop short of actually killing them).

    I don't know if it is because of the new update, but, everytime I activate this mod, the LSPDFR is crashing...

    Can someone please help, when ever I go to select a partner with NumPad0, lspdfr crashes, not rageplugin hook just the lspdfr plugin crashes. I can post my minicrashreports or ragepluginhook.log if needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

     

    Below is a copy paste from the folder MiniCrashReports, This didn't crash the game just lspdfr.
