[Non-ELS] Carlton Police Department Pack 1.0.0

(2 reviews)

10 Screenshots

This is a fictional California-based retro pack. Not much effort was put into this since I did get bored of it, so I decided to release this and continue on better projects. No interior equipment is included due to the lack of parts. Enjoy!

The Ford Bronco and Dodge Intrepid were partially mapped so you cannot change the livery

extra_1-4 are spotlights

extra_5-6 are to toggle the lights/stages

You should totally make A Non-Lore Pack LAPD style. Good work on this one though.

Really love the retro police cars, BUT, that amber light in the back (for all), kills the whole fun, no matter what i do, what i install its SUPER bright compared to anything else that is annoying and fades the other lights away, and worst is, you cannot disable it...please make that optional...from all them others this should be optional foremost.

perhaps use a different graphics mod such as visualvanilla (what I use) to have less bright coronas and use cj24's visual settings

I did some tweaks, its still bright, but i can live with it, the cars are really nice , love it all around, i use them in the day time :)
Still, props for the effort, spared many of us some time to make a decent retro pack, and that is what matters!
Effort needs to be appreciated, i just left my opinion, take it as that.
Still going to use the mod, as i do.
Happy new year!

I didn't know the Intrepid was a thing for LSPDFR.

You can try to use darker textures as some people do with the taxi signs

The YTD sizes on these models are really high considering the fact none of the vehicles have interior equipment. You aren't to blame since you obviously didn't make the base models or any of the parts used in this small pack but next time I highly recommend using a program called XnResize to fix this issue.

In OpenIV, do the following steps

  1. Navigate to Mods > Update > x64 > dlcpacks

  2. Drag & drop the "Carlton_Police_Dept" folder into dlcpacks

  3. Navigate to Mods > Update > Update > Common > Data

  4. Edit dlclist.xml and add "<Item>dlcpacks:/Carlton_Police_Dept/</Item>" to the bottom of the list

  5. Save
