i downloaded this mod, thinking it would work

after 5 hours of attempting to prevent my game from having another heart attack and actually loading LSPD:FR, i load the game
and  spawn a  vehicle from  this pack
to be  met with my lights on,  and  me being unable to turn them off
associated with instead of sirens playing,  just the  regular GTA car horn
i don't know if i downloaded my ELS wrong or something, but can someone tell me  what to do to fix this?

You need to put the XML files in the ELS "default_pack" folder. Only reason why the lights wont work but sirens will is if you download the ELS wrong

This is the ELS folder in your main directory.

Once you open the ELS folder you open this highlighted folder.

Then you insert the xml files here. (Should look similar to what I have here)

Can you Screenshot or Record a video of the issue your having?

(i would like  to  note: I DID  NOT turn on any  instance of emergency lighting  at  all)

i unfortunately cannot send  a  picture of  the  back due to the max  total  size  of  images being 4MB, but i  can say what it looks like:

steady red/blue when in the car  at  the back of  the lightbar
ONLY turns  off  when  i  exit the car

Does anyone have the blue lights files for this pack? i have tried to make them myself but i cant seem to get it right? it would be much appreciated!

If you have Discord go to this server https://discord.gg/nnRMP4eV. it has a channel where a BOT can read your ELS.Log and let you know what's the issue

My theory is that you need to update the latest Advances Hook from ELS again, Its a theory that might be the issue

I'm having issues with the DLC and the headlights not illuminating on the ground... Does anyone have any fixes for this??

Just came back because I wanted a black and white city car, to find out it's a DLC now. Best Pack ever and amazing work. 100% recommend for city patrols

As this department IRL has red and blues, i doubt you will find blue light files for this pack.

the department IRL does not have a marked 2018 charger, so no I dont think so, only a unmarked

I followed multiple tutorials and the readme.txt, but it still does not work. I dont see any added vehicles in the game. I installed gameconfig/heapadjuster/packfilelimitadjuster/advancedhookv/scripthookv/ResourceAdjuster. please help

Hi. I was wondering if you could help me. I followed the instructions to install the pack and now every time i try loading my game with rage it crashes before the game loads. 

Has this pack been updated to include Kane's 19 FPIU and GM's 19 FPIS? In the screenshots it seems you're using the older shittier bases.

Howdy doo, love the car pack looks phenomenal, I've found an issue where certain vehicles such as the slick top K9 FPIS AND SLICKTOP K9 FPIU headlights don't seem to be lighting the roadway up, I've verified the headlights are on through mod menus and they are lit but not lighting up the roadway only takedowns are lighting the roads.

can someone help me out? i follow the instructions exactly as it says and every single time it makes my game crash when trying to start it up

i got it to stop crashing but now when i hit f4 to spawn the vehicles it isn't working

Hello, no I have not fix it yet due to school but onces school is over I will work on getting the Environmental Lighting into the game I will also have to look into what is causing the issue but thank you for letting me know.

I didn't. I finally gave up on the pack all together

I spoke too soon. I fixed it. It was all because I didn't extract the gameconfig file and just dragged it over to openiv, so I went back and made sure all the files were extracted and tried again and the cars loaded right up
