[ELS] LSPD Pack (Gainesville, Florida Inspired) 1.0.0

(4 reviews)

14 Screenshots

Hey y'all

Here is a brand new version of my previously released GPD pack. It has been completely redone with new lighting, textures, etc.

You can read more of the contents in the file, but to give a brief overview:
Reflective Textures (One ghost livery car for unmarked DUI patrolling)

Custom ELS

Brand new textures

Accurate interior to the actual department (to the best of my ability)

KNOWN BUGS: (These are not game-breaking, and I would appreciate you not messaging me or commenting about them as I already know)

·        Some Glass Does not Shatter

·        Reflective Textures have low LODs after L0 (Cannot figure out how to fix this)

·        Handling is poor when you do not assign properly in vehicles.meta

Thank you for downloading! Leave a review if you enjoy/have criticisms.

As a person who lives in Florida and has been throughout most of the state, this is very accurate and very cool! 10/10.

Looking through it, I noticed that there are 6 vehicle models and only 5 ELS files. It appears the Charger and the 21 FPIU are both named as Police2, and there is only one Police2 ELS file. I might just be stupid, but I noticed it. Apart from that the pack is extremely detailed and wonderful, and I think it's safe to say I have finally found an LSPD pack that I am not gonna get rid of anytime soon.

Love it! I'll be waiting for more. Is there anything planned for possible future updates?

One little bug report: Couldn't open rear door for one of FPIUs to put in the detainee. Can't tell if it's happening with other vehicles. I used native LSPDFR detain function. Had this happen just once before with different mod where using StopThePed fixed it just fine so I don't know if it's even a problem on model's end or mine, but might be worth checking out.

Reason is you can use it for either vehicle. Thanks for checking it out and the kind words!

That is an odd bug that I hadn't noticed but I'll check it out when I can. I use stop the ped over the native detain function so maybe that is it?

Yeah I also haven't noticed anyone ever complain about this bug. Might as well just be me. Sorry if I unintentionally waste your time.

No no! It could definitely be because of the model. Do you happen to know which FPIU it was on?

This pack is great! Already using in my game. Is there anyway you can on the next update add radar in the 2021 FPIU 🙂

I decided to check for every model in this pack and seems like only cars that don't give me this problem is the Charger and DUI Tahoe. Does that help?

Nice, I've been hoping someone would make a Gainesville pack. Thank you!

Where's the 2020 Fpiu template?

Did you make these models yourself or take them from somebody else?

Hey sorry, been away a few days. I have not been able to reproduce the problem in my game (I am using Ultimate Backup) as all the rear doors seem to open normally.

The 2020 FPIU template is in the file under the regular 2016. Seems it wound up there by accident. You can look at the credits for where base models came from.

do you think you could possibly add a marked 2015 tahoe?

Probably won't be adding it as I am only adding cars used by the actual department. However, I am working on an updated Tahoe Sheriff pack which should be out soon!

Alright I get it. Seems like problem really might be just on my side I guess. Thanks for trying to help me out mate. Cheers!

Man dude...   You really should correct that.

Kinda a serious mistake. That will surely prompt others to make unnecessary posts as result of your error.

Hey there. You'll need to go into your Open IV application and pull the vehicle meta file out. Once there and opened in notepad or whatever you want to use to edit it, Ctrl+F to find the slot you want to edit and then edit the handling line of said slot. You can use the search function in Open IV to find the meta file.
