San Andreas Bay Area Pack 1.0

(23 reviews)

24 Screenshots

LSPD & BCSO

Inspired by the San Francisco Police Department & the Marin County Sheriff Office.

IMPORTANT:

-These vehicles are lore friendly, therefore do not judge based on realism!

-You must install the vehicles.meta included for the vehicles to work properly!

INFO: These vehicles are inspired by the San Francisco Police Department and Marin County Sheriff Office. Due to these cars being based on California departments they are equipped with steadyburns. This pack comes with 95% breakable windows (all except the CVPI windshields), pushbar collisions, and three light stages per vehicle except
for the unmarked CVPI, and functioning takedowns for every vehicle. If you have any problems / bugs please post a comment about it instead posting a negative review, it may just be a simple fix. I will try to help fix any problems and answer any questions.

As someone from the Bay Area, i can tell you this is great! Great detail, ive always loved the simplicity of bay area agencies vehicles.

Hey Robert, I'm no modeler, or even have that much knowledge on part scaling, but the lightbar mounts on the LSPD utility seem rather large. seems to sit really high off of the roof. I could be wrong, would just like some kind of input on it. :P

looks cool based on the pictures, I love California stuff....in the future it would be nice to see a san andreas area pack based on the real areas in the game like blaine county/imperial, riverside etc

Please add a 16/17 FPIU if you continue working on this pack! Other than that, awesome work!

has anyone else found the lights/els on the sheriffcvpi kinda weird? like the stage two how only front red is working ? Is it suppose to be like this? Love the bar btw, wish it didn't have steady burn or a different way to do the burn besides whole middle bar...

Hmm, I didn't notice that. I think the wrong extras are toggled in the vcf. Also if the steadyburn bothers you that muhc you can set steadyburn to false in the vcf too.

I actually might in the next update, but I'm not sure when that'll be.

hey i heard from your discord you may update this pack.. just to let you know I see you replaced the PoliceT with an SUV but still have guys entering the rear passenger doors and sitting as if its a van (Not an SUV aka granger) if you wanna fix this go in the vehicle .meta and replace the

<layout>LAYOUT_VAN</layout> with <layout>LAYOUT_RANGER</layout> under the PoliceT value.

So this should fix it and make people enter the vehicle like an SUV and also shoot their weapons like an SUV and sit like in an SUV. let me know if this works for you.

also for users who use WOV, they would have a sheriff3 slot for a sedan so you could make an addon vehicle part of this pack.

Based on realism I see Marin county uses vehicles such as a Tahoe or Dodge Ram alternatively or you could just make your 2014 Dodge Charger Sheriff have steady burns as that fits well with the other vehicles.

also, I've noticed some other bugs with the lighting such as the Tahoe rear brake, red lights flash weirdly and unsynchronized, and for some reason, the steady burns do not work on their vehicles when used by the AI i would pm PIC to your discord via PM

Hey, loving the pack but even though I've replaced the vehicles.meta file, the handling is a bit sensitive, and the Tahoe is super slow any advice?

Anyone else having an issue with the ELS causing the middle of the lightbar to stay on? It's shown as extra 10 when you view it in OIV, but the VCF doesn't have the normal listings like color, offset, etc.

Maybe its something I did, but I've installed countless vehicle packs before but this one appears to have corrupted my vehicle folder. Not sure what could have caused it, but now I have to completely start over...
