@majorpaine2015 I like all the details, but fyi, the trim on the dashboard in the Crown Victoria is not chrome. It's just a flat plastic. I'm not sure what year model this is supposed to be. Interior says 1998-2004, but the exterior says 2006-2007. You aught to fix that. Btw, how did you make multiple objects move freely? Like with the bobblehead function? You said the handcuffs and antennas wobble? How did you do that to multiple objects?

 

Is the Crown Victoria F5544's model? I wouldn't recommend it, it's highly outdated and inaccurate. There are newer updated ones out there.

Well, I found the newest addition to my game. Amazing work!

 

Edit: Any way to make it work in the Police slot, instead of the sheriff slot?

Looks nice, another slicktop CVPI that has rhino ram bar, steel rim, and it even has ALPR cameras! I would like to try it out now.

Yes, all you have to do is rename the files to police and import them into x64e.rpf. Next open your vehicles.meta file with notepad or notepad++ and and copy and paste my settings over the settings for police. next change the model name from sheriff to police and make sure you change the drivers of the car to s_m_y_cop_01. save, import back into correct location and have fun.

I used bobble_hand and bobble_head. The easiest way to do it is by exporting the hearse located in the halloween dlc. Once you import it into zmod3 unlink all 3 bobbles, which include bobble_base. using whatever you want to bobble move it into the position on whatever part you want to bobble then copy the pivot points from the original model to he new. uncompound, delete default model, replace with your model and recompound it and done.

Is there a way that you can only have the lightbar and not the stealth visor at the same time. I digging this cvpi 5/5

@majorpaine2015 Fantasitc job on this CVPI.  It really adds that next level of immersion.  Works great in game, but I do have a question; why does the model disappear when I walk a short distance away from it?  I can see only the emergency lights flashing but no model. The same thing happens to my ai units as well.  You just see emergency lights driving your way until then are almost on scene.  Is this a setting on my end or is it your model?  Thanks again for your hard work.

If the game is crashing double check your vehiclesmetas. I noticed that one line on the top of the sheriff line in the readme was in the wrong place. I think it was the <item> line, I have to check when I get home.

Can this be put in as a add-on instead of replacing the sheriff slot? I'm happy with the vehicles I have in the game already, but I want this in my game not spawning with AI's, but rather only me.

dude... i stayed up till five last night lol. I WASNT in my own state of mind. i dont know what made me freaking do that. It was probably insurgency... always getting my butt kicked on that!!!

Hey! Great model! Although I need help. The animations wont work after an correct install. I did all the things listed in the readme.

The steal rims wont show in game and if I change the skin file, the car just appears with the standard ones! Please help

You can have a max of 2 wobbling objects. He set the hand cuffs to bobble_head, and the antennas to bobble_hand. Hope this helps

This is my new favorite police vehicle by far.  The interior has so much detail, and the animations are amazing.  At first I couldn't get the windows to work, and I believe it is because there is an error in the vehicles.meta file included- the lines you need to change are:

      <animConvRoofName>roof</animConvRoofName>
         <animConvRoofWindowsAffected>
        <Item>VEH_EXT_WINDOW_LF</Item>
        <Item>VEH_EXT_WINDOW_RF</Item>
      </animConvRoofWindowsAffected>

 

I copied and pasted these lines from tornado2 over to sheriff, and the windows work perfectly now.

I installed car and looks great BUT!!, the lights aren't working well and the lights in front top window are blinking white not red and blue nor are the back. Can someone please help me????? I installed it in the POLICE slot not the Sheriff. Is that the issue?

i put it in the sheriff and had same issue i retextured the lights and tried different carcols, the one inluded didn't change the patters like int he vid at least not for me

Great Idea. But wipers don´t work ( Rage and Scripthook??) Would be nice to discribe that in ReadMe. Also Radar doesn´t work for me niether the Windows. The vehicles.meta include a sheriff2 file! Also the  top </Item> is missing, causes crash. It would be nice if it can be fixed and also a overhaul in the readme would be great. It doesn´t say much to noobs like me!
