This is an EMS-themed vehicle pack containing 7 default-type vehicles, remapped to accept custom decals and with some adjustments.

DESCRIPTION
− A vehicle pack featuring lore-friendly reworked default vehicles with an EMS theme.
− Currently features 7 vehicle models: Stanier, Fugitive, Granger, Rumpo, V450 Ambulance, Landstalker Ambulance, and Contender.
− Vehicles have matching lighting configurations and all have slicktop variations.
− A Granger variation includes lifeguard equipment and the Rumpo has some in-game vehicle "mods” available to it.
− Vehicles have multiple matching liveries.

NOTES
− If your game crashes on start up, you likely need to install a "gameconfig.xml" modification to increase the number of add-on vehicles your game can accept.
− Whenever modifying XML files, an appropriate text editor (such as Notepad++) is recommended.
− Since the vehicles included in this pack are add-ons, a trainer is required to spawn them using option to type-in the model name.
− Model names: AMBULANCE, AMBULANCE2, EMSCAR, LGUARD, EMSCAR2, EMSSUV, EMSVAN.
− Ambulance and Lifeguard models will replace default ones.
− Known issue: Odd glass collisions on Rumpo when window panels/covers are equipped.
− Known issue: Entry into the EMSVAN via the rear doors is glitched and more work is needed to resolve it.

INSTALLATION
− Always make sure to create backups before overwriting any original game files.
− To avoid the need to overwrite original game files, use the “mod” folder method provided by OpenIV.
− 1. Add the “lux_vpack_ems” folder (included in the download) to “mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/” in your GTA V game directory.
− 2. Using OpenIV, extract the file “mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/dlclist.xml” to your desktop.
− 3. Open the file and add the following line at the end of it (just above </Paths>): <Item>dlcpacks:\lux_vpack_ems\</Item>
− 4. Save the file. This line will instruct to the game to load the vehicle pack along with all other game DLC.
− 5. Import the dlclist.xml file you just modified back into OpenIV, overwriting the original.
− 6. Close OpenIV.

CREDITS
− Base GTAV vehicle models made by Rockstar Games and modified by Lt.Caine.
− Vehicles remapped and reworked by Lt.Caine.
− Vent on Vapid V450 made by Lt.Caine.
− Some Vapid V450 model edits, including extra lights by BxBugs123.
− Yard1 for fixing vehicle glass collision issues on the Granger model.

@Lt.Caine any chance you'd update the light bars to have another choice? I'm meaning like the stock police car led light bar, something more modern?

@Lt.Caine @Officer27 did you ever figure out why if someone changes the ambulance to ambulance3 it will use ambulance2's files?

I have the same issue here when I changed the ambulance to ambulance3, the paint jobs are all messed up

can anyone point me in the right direction so I can figure out what ive possibly done wrong?

@Lt.Caine I don't know if you are aware if this or not but someone uploaded the contender lifeguard from this pack onto GTA5mods. H said it was from your pack but did not otherwise credit or state explicit permission to do so. Just an FYI.

Now I may be mistaken but I do not believe that he modified the vehicle at all (You may modify and redistribute this modification [...]). Also, just uploading someone else's model when you dont change anything at all is ethically wrong and immoral IMHO. The people on GTA5M already discussed this prior to you commenting, if LT. Caine is okay with him doing so that's his prerogative, however, I was just doing my part as a well intended member of this community in notifying someone if I believe that they are victim of copyright infringement or plagiarism. It just seems that lately there have been a number of people who have been victims of copyright infringement and plagiarism. Honestly, it pisses me off and I am getting sick of seeing people repost files that do not belong to them, whether this be actual vehicle models, ELS XML files, etc. *Steps down from soapbox*.

I don't have zmodeler, nor do I have the time to learn how to use the program and then learn how to make it els compatible...but good idea bro

Do you already have a custom config file? If not, I can recommend this: https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gameconfig-xml-fix-for-bikers-update There are others, I am sure, that let you install many more than this. If I remember at one point, Captain 14 had one included with his (Non-ELS) vehicle pack. This may not be true or it may not work anymore but that is another one you could try.

@shadowdiver710 if you download the mod on gta 5 mods youll notice that the paintjob is much more different than the red and yellow version for the lifeguard itself, so he did edit it (the livery) and thats allowed by Lt. Caine...... and about your message, no worries :)

it keep crashing. I read the documentation and installed a gameconfig up to date.

No idea what i have been doing wrong for the last 4 hours. Is anybody able to walk me through the installation?

@AJ Deere T680 the only walk through I can give you would be to install it like you would any other add-on, if it works, it works, if it dont it dont..... I have several addon installed, modified DLC list, Gameconfig, some I can spawn and others come up as invalid model and have no clue as to why.... My only concern with this pack is that if you change textures on one of the ambulances, the other one will be messed up and has yet to be rectified...

I got it fixed. I had a older gta version game config. So ill delete the post because i found the problem
