Press "0" to show/hide control hints on screen.

Hold a number key (1-7) + Arrow Keys to move elements:

• 1 + Arrows → Logo position
• 2 + Arrows → Speedometer position
• 3 + Arrows → Health indicator position
• 4 + Arrows → Armor indicator position
• 5 + Arrows → Temperature display position
• 6 + Arrows → Clock position
• 7 + Arrows → Compass position

• Hold SHIFT → Faster movement
• Hold CTRL → Slower movement (precision mode)

The speedometer automatically activates when you enter any vehicle.
It displays:
• Current speed in MPH (smooth animation)

• Vehicle name (automatically detected)
• Color changes based on speed:
- Green (0-50% of max speed)
- Yellow (50-75% of max speed)
- Red (75-100% of max speed)

- White (60-90°F) - Normal
- Orange/Red (above 90°F) - Hot

Hi there. May i ask where is the hud config? Can't find it on the root folder. Also the Speedometer doesn't have any color so do the Health & Armor indicators. Did i install anything wrong?

Hi, please tell me — does your HUD not work at all, or does it work but isn't in color?
Also, let me know if you're using fullscreen, borderless window, or windowed mode. And what version of DirectX do you have set in the GTA settings?

So currently, the HUD only displays numbers; no colors are showing, and I can't access the settings (to adjust the position). I am using fullscreen, and using DirectX 11 in the game setting.

Try removing the mod from the GTA root folder, launch the game, and switch to borderless windowed mode. Reinstall the mod and test it. Let me know if the problem still remains?

Tried, still not working, no colors are showing, maybe is there any ytd file that i need to install to get the colors working properly?

In your GTA folder, there should be a file called hud_debug.log. If you can, copy the text from there and send it to me.

Also, you said that the hud_config.ini configuration file isn't being created. Try creating it manually and paste this into it:

Hmm, interesting. The plugin works for you — it launches, there are no errors in the console, text renders fine, but the actual bars (health, armor, and speedometer) don't render.

I suggest you check whether you have the following installed:

  • Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 x64 Redistributable

  • .NET Framework 4.8

Also, please tell me your screen resolution.

To answer your previous question about textures — no, you don't need to download anything extra. All on-screen elements are rendered through DirectX, and it is working for you.

I'll try to solve this problem. It would be good if this issue isn't just happening for you but for other users as well — that would make it clearer and easier for me to figure out the cause.

i have restarted the game and my pc, its when the game turns black when loadingin the world after finishing the loading, it just gets stuck

In your GTA folder, there should be a file called hud_debug.log. If you can, copy the text from there and send it to me.
