HolsterReady 1.7.5 - BIG UPDATE

Ever got into a situation where you didnt have enough time to pull out your gun and got shot/injured?

Well dont worry, this mod was like-tailored for these kid of situations.

ChangeLog:

- 1.7.5 - Controller support, modifier keys, Preferred gun

- 1.5.1 - Included a ReadMe, optimized, fixed minor errors.

- 1.5.0 - Instant draw with right click, no need to use tab anymore.

Planned feautures:

- Custom Animations (wont be as soon as expected)

QNA:

What does it do?

- you can put your hand on the holster, makes drawing almost instant once you need your gun

Does it work with ______?

- Yes. The mod is created to work with any plugin. In case you find an exception, contact me, even thru a comment section.

Will there be more animations to choose from/compatible with?

- Really sorry to disappoint you but different animations are custom made, i have no skills with making custom animations and no developer was yet helpful enough to provide me with their animations, if you know a developer of LSPDFR and/or Cop Holster, Tell them it would be really appreciated if they helped out, if not, you have to wait till i learn animating and make my custom ones (will take a long time cuz of school).

Can i donate a buck to a starving student like you? (asked no one ever... ehm..)

Highly recommend using this mod alongside with Cop Holster and EUP menu, good quality mods for sure!

default key is H, use F10 while holding a weapon to set it as preferred

Does it work with lspdfr's intimidation mode? LSPDFR's anim for having your hand on your holster is better imo and I prefer it.

Okay once you can get it working in the next update I'd love to use this in one of my patrols. I got into several shootings the other day so this could really be a life saver.

This feature will likely be in 1.7.0 or 2.0.0
so it will probably be out by the end of the week, keep an eye on the changelog : D

I love the mod! But whenever i go to put my gun back it does not appear back in my holster. And then when i run then put the gun back it appears in my holster.

What do i do?

This is a problem of the “Cop Holster” mod, not HolsterReady. Please comment on his mod, not mine, thank you ❤️

This plugin seems to be drawing my taser rather than the firearm when I initiate the intimidation animation through this plugin. Is there something I might be doing wrong or overlooking? Thanks.

Edit: Just realized this may be because my handgun is an add-on weapon. Does this mod support add-on weapons?

HI! sorry for such a late reply however school is heavy on me. However, as far as i am concerned this mod only supports replace weapons, not addons since it changes the name of the firearm drawn, so the mod automatically goes to the next possible firearm, in this case taser, i dont think there is a simple way to change this and adding a .ini option would probably be not user-friendly. Sorry for this inconvenience, i will add such support in the next version.

Hey, when i have a Long Weapon it draws the Long weapon insead of my Pistol. I dont have any Addon Guns or something like that.

When holding your pistol, press the button you use for the "preferred gun" action, which by default is F10 - this will set your pistol as the gun you want to pull out, sorry for such a late reply, school is heavy.
