PoliceSmartRadio 2025 brings back one of the most useful tools in the LSPDFR toolkit — a fully integrated radio interface packed with immersive law enforcement features.

Completely restored and updated by Sparky81x, this 2025 edition supports current versions of GTA V, LSPDFR, RPH, and popular mods like Traffic Policer and Arrest Manager.

Drag and drop all contents of the plugin folder to your root GTA5 folder.

📘 First-Time Setup

If this is your first time using PoliceSmartRadio:

You'll be prompted to auto-generate XML configs for button layout
You can customize button pages per mode (on foot / in vehicle)
Buttons are assigned automatically based on plugin availability

Want to add your own? Just drop .png icons into the right folder and edit the XML!

also idk why but my radio is very small

One recommendation as said on discord would be to fix the "request ped check" when you are out on foot. For some reason its still not working in the updated version. Dispatch never responds to this request with infor about the suspects wants/warrants when out with a suspect in front of me. I been using police menus computer check to make up for it in the meantime.

Ok so i have been testing for over a hour and im able to pull ped details. When your in discord i dont mind showing you it all working.

Works perfect but I been trying to change the toggle radio DPadLeft to another button on my controller through the INI file because it conflicts with ELS yet nothing is changing in game. I have double checked the INI and it will show it's changed but still DPadLeft on the controller no matter what I change it to. I had no issues changing it before on the original so any help is appreciated.

Hi, I have just tested this. As you can see iv set to none and its working ingame. I cant open the police radio if i press DPadLeft. It will only open with keyboard C

Only a few selected UB backup options have APIs tied into PoliceSmartRadio.

BetterEMS is not outdated, just because it hasn't been updated in a while, that doesn't make it a "broken/outdated" plugin. It is up to you whether you want to use BetterEMS.

It seems like it ignores the requests from other Albo's scripts and possibly just all, for sure BetterELS too. Stuff from TrafficPolicer like coroner, tow trucks etc. don't work (yes I have the 2025 ver!). Pursuit options from UltimateBackup fail too, even tho the script tries to request them. WildernessCallouts fail.

Only the default buttons work.

And yes, I have the newest, 12.12.2024 version of RAGENativeUI in my GTA5 root.

I will have to look into UltimateBackup.dll and get a updated one if its being ref in police radio.

Ok as you see UltimateBackup does nothing to Police Smart Radio. STP does though and STP has its own radio. Are you using STP. If not then UltimateBackup might not be upto with my changes!
