TheFeedFlusher - No More Annoying Notifications 1.1.2

(8 reviews)

1 Screenshot

This simple plugin flushes and removes all those annoying notifications that pop-up for the first 20 seconds of your shift. Personally, I find these very annoying, as it blocks the entire side of the screen. And gets annoying really quick.

Warning

This plugin blocks all notifications on start-up. Meaning it WILL block notifications warning you about updates, and other critical notifications. Use at your own risk! I am not responsible if anything happens to your game or mods.

Installation

Simply drag the "plugins" folder into your GTA 5 directory.

Configuration

Included with the DLL, is an INI file with settings that you can configure to fit your needs. Such as configuring how long after you start your shift, the plugin will clear notifications. And how often the plugin will clear notifications and flush the queue.

This is quite helpful since lots of plugins are blocking things, when you want to play right away. I'll give this a try.

I would be careful with this. Sometimes those notifications do have necessary information, like telling you that an update is required.

I agree. This is amore of a "use at your own risk" kind of plugin.

I'm using a lot of callout packs and to be honest I can barely see the update notification even if I try to so this fits great. I personally can't stand the notifications even though I understand the update notification importance and all. I'll be using at my own risk, appreciate it!

this is more of an Use At Your Own Risk mod.  Certain callouts and plugins rely on notifs to tell the user that there is an update.

This has already been addressed.  What it ultimately comes down to is PERSONAL CUSTOMIZATION/CHOICE! If people don't want to see the notifications, that is their right to choose.  I'm tired of waiting 2-3 minutes for all the dumb boxes to go away so I can set up my character and navigate the menu.  Veteran LSPDFR players don't need to see that shit.  I have a weird feeling a lot of plugin devs are going to complain about this mod, as if the notifications are vital for the plugin. 🙄

When they pop up, just hold Down on your controller d-pad and it will hide them. Technically replaces them with the recording options, but still an instant fix.

Bravo on this....I HATE THE POPUPS..and  i honestly hate the upgrade notifications in game. I just Check the websites quickly searching for recents updates once a week. It takes me minutes.   Once my game is already loading when im going on duty is far to late in my opinion to go... HEY go update my plugin now.   What I really wish a dev would resurrect from the dead is THIS.   It was amazing when it was working. and i could check everything in one swoop before starting up my game.

I agree man. I can see where this would be helpful, but at the same time, I wanna know that everything is loading properly and if there are any plugins/callouts that need to be updated. Yes it takes a min for them to all load, but I'd still rather know for sure that everything is up and running.

I've actually created something that works similar to this.

Don't want to clog up this comment section for a pretty neat mod, but if you're interested, feel free to shoot me a message. 🙂

I guess it would be more awesome if we can remove everything else except the notification for when an update is ready. Still, this is amazing as it takes me some time to be able to fully play the game as to having to wait for all that notification from varied plugins I have installed in my game.

True, but I'm more likely to download updates by regularly checking the LSPDFR downloads than spotting it in a spam of notifications. You then also have the task of remembering which plugin needs updated.
