A Megaphone UI to use in your police car or on foot


Features:
- Change the voice of your character
- Play the in-game available megaphone audios inside your vehicle or on foot
- Pullover audio is automatically played when you perform a traffic stop
- If you use any of the "Clear Area" audio, the nearby peds & cars will scream and run away (aside from persistent peds to not mess up with callouts)

- Force pursuit suspects to stop (including inside a vehicle or on foot)

- Make nearby peds drop their guns on the floor

- Calmer version of Clear the area (makes peds walk instead of running), older version has been also tweaked, also helps clearing intersections

- Auto pullover sound has been changed for boats

- (experimental) Auto visual regained/lost sound

- Automatic temporary siren cutoff when speaking for Non-ELS vehicles

- 3 animations

- Update checker

- Automatic suspect escaped sound

- Reload configuration file without quitting LSPDFR

1st July 2021: PLEASE stop saying the plugin is outdated! If it ain't broken, I will not update it just to get some fake downloads.

Don't claim to be a support member on Discord if you don't know what you're doing.

 

Requires:

- RageNativeUI.dll (included)

The included version is outdated, get the newest one from here: https://github.com/alexguirre/RAGENativeUI/releases

- RagePluginHook (not included)

- LSPDFR 0.4.7 (not included)

 

CHECK THE .ini FILE !!

 

Keybinds :
- Press M by default (on keyboard) while in a police vehicle to show the menu (customisable in .ini file)
    - Controller:
        - DPad Up/DPad Down to scroll through the menus
        - DPad Left/DPad Right to go through the lists items
        - A to go to a menu, B to go back
    - Keyboard:
        - Up Arrow/Down Arrow to scroll through the menus
        - Left Arrow/Right Arrow to go through the lists items
        - Enter to go to a menu, Backspace to go back

- The radius for both Clear The Area/No loitering allowed & Clear The Area (Warning) are now customizable in the .ini

- Tweaks with how the megaphone prop is spawned/despawned, to hopefully fix the megaphone getting stuck issue

- Added a "Settings & Medias" menu, where you can do the things listed below:

  • Force delete megaphone prop(s): if your megaphone gets stuck for some reason, you can force all megaphones present in the game world to be deleted
  • Reload settings: the MegaphoneUI.ini configuration file will be reloaded, without you needing to reload LSPDFR!
  • Open various pages in your default browser, such as my Discord server, YouTube channel, Patreon supporter page, PayPal donation link, and the download page (LCPDFR.com)

I have one suggestion: For felony traffic stop, could you add more traffic stop sounds for that. And also most importantly, during felony stop, it will be cool if we can keep the door open, then grab the mega phone from inside the vehicle(the wired radio object)and order the suspect to step out of the vehicle.

There is no felony stop feature at the moment. There was in the past with beta builds, but I removed it because of bugs. I want to do a dedicated plugin for felony stops but there aren't enough voice lines in the game file so I'm stuck

In law, particularly in criminal law or criminal procedure, the Miranda warning (Miranda v. Arizona (384 US 436)/People v. Villamor, L-41493) is a type of notification customarily given by police to criminal suspects in police custody advising them of their right to silence; that is, their right to refuse to answer questions or provide information to law enforcement or other officials.

 

The Miranda doctrine shall be read to an accused so that evidence found supporting the guilt of the accused shall be admissible in evidence; otherwise, pieces of evidence found shall have no bearing in the case. 

 

The Miranda doctrine or warning, to wit: You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have a right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you.” 

 

I suggested this so for the reason that it will be more realistic gameplay. However, if it is to be included in the megaphone plugin, it would sound so loud. I suggest that it should be as loud as in a normal conversation.

This wouldn't make sense in Megaphone UI, I want to strictly keep megaphone audio in there. I'm thinking of remaking the mod with normal voices (a separate mod but that will work exactly the same), though there isn't any sound in the game files that says your phrase. I can play external audio but it wouldn't watch any voices already present in the game & the sound wouldn't be 3D

Very useful script. But for some reason I keep hearing the lost visual speech even when I had it disabled in the ini file. If you're wondering what's bothering me it's because it's way louder than the dispatch announcing me to return to patrol(you know, the Suspect Escaped Radio Update speech by Officerporci). I tried to replace again the dll and pdb files and nothing. Any idea if that's a bug or I'm doing something wrong?

Love this mod, but I wish that for the pull over announcement sound, it'd play once you turned on your lights and actually signaled the car to pull over rather than as soon as you blip them. If I blip a car I haven't pulled over yet, it's weird that I tell them to pull over before I ever turn on the lights.

Is there a way to make "clear the area" function in a traffic stop without affect the pulled over car? I mean make everyone except the the pulled over car go away. 

 

Even if there are no especific megaphone sounds to this, would be nice to have that just to make people step away from a potential dangerous traffic stop.

Definitely possible to do however would need specifications as to which dialogue it will affect in the menu

very useful script. but needs little fix. when i change my voice to black sahp male 2, script changes to black sahp male1 (s_m_y_hwaycop_01_black_full_01.awc). when i change black sahp male 1, its change to black sahp male1. but i cant change my voice to black male2. I thoroughly tested. i guess you have to just edit one line in codes for black male2. (set up as s_m_y_hwaycop_01_black_full_02.awc)

 

edit: fixed, author(Vincentsgm) will update this script soon.
