SuperEvents is a plugin for LSPDFR to add more ambient events. Currently adds 8 new events with plans for many more!

Not only that, it has a fully fledged API that allows people to add their own events, just as easy as making a callout pack! (https://github.com/SuperPyroManiac/ExampleEvents)

 

With SuperEvents I aim to add more unique ambient events to LSPDFR with a uniform feel. I add both realistic and crazy new ones that will be played randomly. You are also able to disable and enable any features you choose. I recommend pairing this plugin with my other plugin Deadly Weapons and SuperCallouts to completely change how the game feels.

Changes:

  • Added support for NPCI

  • Added injured ped event

  • All events with people in them will correctly have context of the situation for NPCI users

  • Moved audio to custom files to allow full support for BlueLine Dispatch

  • Neither BLD or NPCI is required, these are optional

  • Fixed 4 events to have better detection of despawned items, preventing errors or causing events to end suddenly.

  • Fixed the vehicle not found crash. If it still happens ill rip out all my hair and scream.

  • Fixed cases where events were registered multiple times if you went off duty and back on in the same session.

    NPCI requires an update to add API support. Users of this plugin need to wait around a week for the NPCI update to support the context my plugin provides.

Hey, nice plugin really it adds a various unexpected actions through the game
However, I get an error saying I've installed the mood incorrectly even though I'm not new to installing plugins-mods etc..

tried to re-install multiple times it keeps coming up ..
any thought's on this?

Send your RagePluginHook.log (Or look for the error) and it will say what is wrong.

Do I need the latest LSPDFR/RPH update to download the newer version? I'm still reverted to 3274

You can change the keybind in the PyroCommon.ini file, it even gives you the option to change it the first time you open it. You said it does not work, but it works fine in my testing when changing it. Using "None" as the key will also disable any keybind.

I will not be removing the menu and plan to move the Y menu functionality to this system for a choice / dialogue section for things in the future. You are free to change the keybind or remove my plugins. I am not paid or given any value by people using my free stuff, so it's not much of a threat to me.

Gotta love it when someone think they speak for other people when in fact they really don't. If someone cannot be bothered to change a keybind in a ini file and have the gull to complain about it on here, they clearly have no right to belittle mod authors.

I think your plugin and your events are great. But what would be really great would be if you would add an option (like with ransom ambience (immersive ambient events etc.) where you could set whether events can always occur or whether they are not triggered during pursuits, callouts and when you are not on duty 🙂

They cannot spawn during pursuits, pullovers, callouts, or off duty. I don't plan to change that behavior tbh

Hm, strange. But that was a misunderstanding i think. I didn't mean Off-Duty, but Out of Service via Grammar Police. I know. It is of course realistic if you then also allow events to happen. But sometimes it is a bit annoying during Out of Service. That's why an option like that would have been great

I do not use grammar police so im not sure what the out of service mode is. Maybe if it has an API to see that state I can look into it but its hard to say right now.

Any possibility of also adding on the ability to make events not spawn when you set the base LSPDFR "Available For Calls" function to No or Callout Interface's "Busy" function (I think Callout Interface's automatically makes the base LSPDFR Available For Calls function also turn off when you set your status to Busy)? 

I keep having events pop up after a callout is "over" but I am still on scene doing things.

I think this keeps crashing my game since my knowledge with modding etc. I´m not 100% sure but I will make some tests.

I love your work but sadly this callout and launcher has bugs and throws errors, I have to remove it from my game as I crashed because of it.

If you could send your RagePluginHook.log I could look into it, sadly this comment provides 0 context so not a thing I can do.

Well this log shows it happened 1 time, looks like it was unable to find a valid spawnpoint near you which is odd.
If it continues during a longer session id love to see that log too. Right now with it being a single instance, it looks normal.

Yeah, here’s the thing: when this issue occurs, a small red circle appears on the minimap/map that never goes away. I have to restart the game, but as soon as the “superevent” pops up, it error again and that little red circle never goes away again, and so on. Unless I can get rid of that little red circle every time an error occurs, that would be enough. Restarting the game and running LSPDFR takes a few minutes, and honestly, I don’t want to waste my time. i would love to play the mods without any issue tho, i will try to play it longer session!!!
