Requirements:

 

  • Traffic Policer
  • (Optional) Darkmyre's Search Warrant or Stop The Ped

 

Features

 

  • Ped Observation
    • Get observations for any ped
      • Automatic traffic stop observations for all occupants
      • Gets status of ped including mood, behavior, and signs of intoxication
  • [NEW] Lite Menu Based Computer System
    • Run record checks, issue citations, summons, and create arrest reports with the new computer system
    • Fully integrated with the rest of this plugin
    • Customizable XML files for charges and citations
      • IMPORTANT! Do not edit/add any new main root entries (eg direct descendants of the "Main" root). They will not be recognized by my plugin
        • You can only add/edit entries under these roots with the "Charge" name
  • Traffic Stop Questions
    • [NEW] Traffic stop questioning menu, replaces default LSPDFR+ one
      • To use, approach a car on a traffic stop and press the interaction key (default "Y") to open the menu
      • You can:
        • Ask the driver for their license and proof of insurance
          • If the driver has no license, a suspended license, or warrants, there is a chance they will refuse to identify themselves to you, which is arrestable.
        • Ask for passenger's identification
        • Tell the driver the reason for pulling them over (27 default reasons so far, just comment any more ideas you have and I will try to add them)
        • Ask general questions:
          • "Where are you headed?"
          • "Where are you coming from?"
          • "Is the address on your license current?"
          • "Do you own this vehicle?"
          • "How do you know the passenger(s)?"
        • Ask questions related to crime:
          • "Have you been drinking recently?"
          • "Have you you used any drugs recently?
          • "Is there anything illegal in the car?"
          • "Can I search your vehicle?"
        • Most question's answers will depend on the ped's mood/intoxication level
        • 210+ lines of mostly unique dialog
        • Any more ideas for questioning should be added in the comments!
    • [NEW] Issue warnings, citations, and summons with the new computer system
    • [NEW] Can now order occupants out of the vehicle
  • Field Sobriety Tests
  • Evidence
    • Store any evidence you find in any police vehicle
    • View stored evidence
    • Drop off stored evidence at any police station, marked by a "stash" icon on the map (pot leaf blip next to police stations)
  • Field Narcotics Test Kits
    • Narcotics stored in your evidence can be tested using reagent test kits in your trunk
      • Positive tests are automatically stored in evidence
      • Automatically recognizes when you store drugs in evidence and makes them available for testing
        • Drugs are not always what they seem, e.g. sometimes what you think is meth will turn out to be PCP or cocaine
      • If you use one of the custom XML files, these phrases are currently recognized by evidence storage as able to be tested:
        • "white powder"
        • "tan" or "brown powder"
        • "blotter paper"
        • "crystal" or "crystals"
        • "unmarked pills"
    • 5 different tests, based on real life counterparts (all information based on products from: http://www.sirchie.com/forensics/narcotics-investigation/pouches.html)
      • Marquis Reagent (meth, heroin, morphine, MDMA)
      • Scott Reagent (cocaine/crack)
      • Fentanyl Reagent (Fentanyl)
      • Phencyclidine Reagent (PCP)
      • Ehrlich's Reagent (LSD)
    • Custom narcotics.xml for DarkMyre's Search Warrant and PoliceSearch adds more options for unidentified drugs such as: "white powder", "suspicious crystals", etc
  • Automatic Pursuit Updates
    • When in a pursuit, will automatically give information on the speed and direction that the suspect vehicle is heading.
    • Also gives details on traffic condition such as light, medium, or heavy (togglable)
  • [NEW] Integrated Lite Court System
    • Upon creating an arrest report, a court case will automatically be generated for the arrest
    • There is a customizable amount of time between the arrest date and court date in the .ini file
    • Active court cases options
      • View name, charges, court date, and force early case hearing
    • Past court cases options
      • View name, charges, sentence, and delete one or all entries
    • Sentences depend on severity and amount of charges
    • [!!!IMPORTANT!!!] Due to the new court system, the XML structure of the Charges.xml has changed, adding a new attribute called "life" to every charge. If life is set to true, that charge can carry a life sentence.
      • You must update old customized XML files to include this attribute for every charge or use the new ones provided, otherwise the game will crash
    • [Coming Soon] Evidence system integration

 

Known Bugs:

  • Sometimes arrested peds will leave the backseat of your vehicle and try to drive away. No known fix but to grab them and put them back in the vehicle. Probably a plugin interaction.
    • Have not had happen to me in a while, please report for v2.2.1 if you encounter. Possibly fixed


Installation:

  1. Copy the "Plugins" folder to your main GTA V directory.
  2. Pick an XML to use depending on what search plugin you have for added realism! (not required)
  3. Enjoy!

Looking at Ultimate Backup's menu, it seems to function the same as my menu and have the same issue so I am assuming this is a limitation with RageNativeUI

I absolutely love the computer system in Interaction+.  One suggestion I would offer is to ask is it possible to allow us to issue multiple counts of the same crime? I know how to kinda trick it into doing it, but, it would be kinda cool to see that as a feature!

    You could always use LSPDFR+ for that, it generates court cases based on your charges or citations.

    Is there some way to stop other plugins from registering key presses when filing evidence in the car? Like lock the interaction or something?

    Sadly no. @Phaxol did try and prevent this from happening, however it is not something that is within his control.

    First off, I realize this probably isn't the best place to ask this, but since it affects so few downloads from here I thought I'd ask in case anyone else has issues like me with the downloading of this specific file for this mod.

     

    Every now and then, I have trouble when I download a mod in that I can't open the .rar file to copy the files into my directory. So far it has only done this with some vehicle mods which I don't mind at all since I can just download a different vehicle. However it does become a bit of an annoyance when trying to download a mod like this.

     

    The issue is when I have downloaded a mod from "GTA5 Mods", I cannot open the .rar to get to the files due to an Error (see spoiler) - this is for both winRAR and 7zip - I have tried to re-download several times with the same outcome. Does anyone have any ideas or workarounds for this?

     

    To be clear - This has happened very few times (mostly on vehicles) and I haven't had any look searching for a useful answer or resolution. The majority of the mods I download I have had no issue at all with opening and installing any .rar files. It is doing it for this mod, and is why I am asking here.

    Looks to be another random null reference crash, I will try and add error handling to prevent this next update

    I do not know as of yet, there is a chance it is broken since LSPDFR had to be updated to work with the newest DLC update. Development will be pushed back a little to try and migrate to the new version and testing for bugs

    So far this mod has been working perfectly in 0.4.3 for me. One thing I would suggest that may have been suggested already would be the ability to choose a charge or citation multiple times so you can charge them with the same offense more then once. This would be useful lets say if the ped is has two warrants out for their arrest, you can charge them for having a warrant x2. Other then that great mod!

    Love this, adds so much to lcpdfr. Any control lists?  If i do a traffic stop and ask driver to leave the vehicle i feel like another menu should come up, let me know if im missing something

    I have installed the plugin and the game runs fine with it but whenever I go on duty LSPDFR crashes immediately I have Darkmyre's API and search warrant installed and both work fine. I am very confused on what I did wrong or if I have a mod that conflicts. I have LSPDFR+, Traffic Policer, Assorted Callouts, Arrest Manager and Police Smart Radio. If there is an issue with any of these please let me know any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Seems you are missing and or renamed "CItations.xml" in GTA V\Plugins\LSPDFR\Interaction+, I would reinstall the XML files from this mod

    Its hard to explain so check out steve the gamer or even benzo there pat down results and others pop up mine dont no more and idk y, they used to, like for stop the ped the pat down results dont show now either, i guess ill have to play around with it tm when i get home from work

    Hey! I'm experiencing an inconsistent issue where Ill complete an arrest report only to have it never show up in the active court cases area. I was just playing and made three arrests, completed three reports, but only the first suspect populated in the active cases. The third one was completed approximately 2 minutes before I looked into the active cases area and found it didn't populate. 

     

    Has anyone else had this issue? Is there any information I can send over to assist in diagnosing this?

    I don't know whats causing this but pressing the menu key (T) doesn't work properly for me. Instead of just interacting or stopping the ped, it grabs them and i have to press the key again which ends the interaction making the whole thing useless. Any ideas whats causing this? I have Stop the Ped and have the "stoptheped" config files inside the Interaction+ folder as well.
