I don't quite remember where or why I had to do that, but I notice that it is also selected in my RPH.  I, too, had that issue with smart radio not showing up until I adjusted the RPH settings.  Not anymore!  It was either forcing DirectX 11, forcing windowed mode, or both that cured this issue for me.

I don't recall the game crashing as a result, though, that's probably a separate area, but I can't say for sure.

Guess what... that has been tried too. forcing direct x (in the log it will say rph has problems running directx), I also tried disableing direct x (i know, just in case to sse wjat happens). thx

Well what the heck, that's odd.  Only the RPH developers will be able to answer that one I guess, or Albo, I have no idea.  Same identical problem and solution that works for just about everyone doesn't work for you.  I'm sorry!

Is it just me or am I missing the coroner function on the new update.

ive been having problems downloding the smart radio. everytime i download it and go ionto the game its fine. once i load into the police officer my game freezes. anybody had the same problem or a solution thanks

you have a problem hooking with directx, your rph console works but doesnt show, right? well, you can play but you wont be able to see the radio. To unfreeze it keep pressing 1 to use the default keys for radio, at one moment you will end that preccess and it will unfreeze, then I think you will need to F4 forceduty again (be sure you have traffic policer and arrest manager too)

If you look in your RPH logyou sure find something like this Failed to create D3D11 device for Grand Theft Auto V: 887a0004, google the solution, it will work, but if your gpu cant stand the game well it will be terrible (I prefer just use the radio blindly)

when others plugins get installed , police smart radio doesn' t ask to add other buttons after plugins loading , i' ve reinstalled more times (latest version) ,i' ve tried a manual adding of buttons in the INI file yet, but it still doesn' t work, what i have to do?

the only buttons i can press is ped search plate search and panic, no coroner or tow trucks, or any other buttons im not familiar with, any tips?

Is there anyway i could find an older version lower than 6.14.0.0?

Hey, I'm having a serious issue where having this plugin enabled in conjunction with GTA V redux causes horrible texture pop-in issues to the point of most texture failing to render all together. I'm positive the issue comes from this in combination with GTA V redux because I used this plugin without issue before downloading GTA V redux, and with redux downloaded, upon removal of this plugins .dll, textures load in just as they should. The issue also would only happen when I went on duty with SmartRadio enabled. I'm assuming this is an issue with scripting, but I'm no mod author so most coding/scripting is over my head. So I would greatly appreciate help if possible and I hope this is an issue with something I've done and not an issue with this mod and GTA V redux, because both are huge parts of my game.

I cant go back to previous pages, mine is stuck on tow truck page. I have tried the config file a zillion times. Very frustrating

This looks like an absolute pleasure to have, but unfortunately I can't get it to work. I have an issue where both this and many other Albo mods (traffic police, arrest manager, etc.) are loaded in, but they just do not work. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

For some reason no matter what button I press, the radio pops up, it interferes with like vocal dispatch.

I changed in the config file to DPADright and when I click left, it still pops up.

The new version don't work for me.. I have only Plate Check, PedCheck, Pit, Panic and EndCall. The plugin don't add the many button from another plugin (ex. from Arrest Manager). 
If i can add manually the button, when i go to call a service the game text me "No action has (yet) been assigned to...."
Why this problem?? The previous version work very well now this problem.
Solve this please..!

Good. I only see two buttons. No longer appears to call the car crane or the coroner or many more options than before. I leave the report to see if anyone knows what the problem is.

I re-downloaded the radio plugin and arrest manager. I load only lspdfr plugin and lspdfr load only the radio and arrest manager (sorry for repetition) and the problem persist.

So, the problem isn't some conflict with another mods. Probably there is version incompatible or similar.. rage plugin hook, albo1125 common or i don't know.

In this version many users have this problem, so this isn't a isolated problem to few users.
Please solve this problem because it is very boring.

This might be a silly question but I open police radio with "c" and it works well so far but every time  I hit the "y" button to let's say perform a plate check (can be any other task) the radio disappears and I have to reopen it first with "c" again in order to use it again.

Is this supposed to be that way?

I've finally got around to updating my game and installing this.  Got all the normal buttons except for road block.  Which mod adds that?

So what's the reason why the text box doesn't appear the first time you use Smart Radio? I've been at this for near enough 2 hours now and not a single solution has surfaced. All I've gathered is that it is somehow connected with DirectX and that failing to start. All that happens when I go on duty is the screen freezes and a text box at the side appears, saying something along the lines of "A text box is being shown here. If you can't see it then there's a problem with RPH connecting with DirectX -- yadda, yadda, yadda" Can I please get a solution for this? It's driving me mental.

Try this

Go into your RPH config console | Game settings tab | Click on the down arrow next to Command line switches | Then find "Force Windowed mode" and place a check in the box

then

Click on Save and Launch at the bottom

Once the game is fully loaded, you can change it to full screen by pressing Alt+Enter

@Albo1125 Can you please fix the bug on PoliceSmartRadio.

When i am in Pursuit of Suspect and minute later i Request to Pit Vehicle with Radio, LSPDFR Crashes and i have to restart my game.

I don`t want make you mad but could you fix the "Request Pit" Button and scripts.

@Nexino Actually that happened to me. 

Make sure to not install any heavy scripts or heavy graphic mods that may result in texture glitch.

I had to delete several scripts from my mods folder because of DLC update infected my computer.
