Ford E-350 Ambu V2.0B Final Release: V2.0B

(11 reviews)

1 Screenshot

Please note-

This model is a BETA. The model is now 100% stable ingame and is ready to be tested among the other users. There are a few minor things I'm still working towards fixing such as collision files and dirt visuals. I've decided to let the general public give it a run. Any problems you may come across, please PM me and I'll work to fixing whatever it may be to ensure quality in this model.

Enjoy !

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>THE FILE HAS BE RE UPLOADED <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

FINAL VERSION HAS BEEN RELEASED >>AMBU V2.0B<<

Please note - The file is larger , However that is NOT the entire model. Its 2 ambulances and a whole bunch of other stuff.

Model is 6.08MB

Minor collision problem has been spotted. The issue will be resolved shortly.

Note to all users- The ambulance will currently stay locked. However, I will soon be releasing parts off the ambulance such as lights, lightbars etc for public use.

Finaly a new ambulance! Looks great! But the horns are a bit too much, for me. Anyways a very good model... keep up the great work!

Way cool, nice to see more ambulances and definitely nice to see more use of the Econoline model. The only thing I'd like to mention is the rear wheels seem a little small to me, though I have yet to try it in game...

@ Cj24 - Yes, I've created the model from scratch top to bottom.

Wow, I actually didn't expect this. Very nice work!

But the model is pretty high poly, isn't it?

The model is somewhat high poly. However, as I work towards fixing other problems users have reported, I'm working to lower the poly down as much as possible.

Awesome finally an Econoline. Although the front seems a bit inaccurate.

Also if you could remove the specular map from the wheels, it'd be a lot better. Tyre doesn't shine like that.

@ Sgt.Kanyo- funny you mention that cab shape, I just realized that and fix it just a little while ago.Specular map is now off.Should how final version soon.Hoping for tonight.

Thanks for feed back though.

I LOVE the ambulance! The only problem is that you can't open the doors in the back of the ambulance with Simple Native Trainer and patients can't enter the ambulance properly.

Awesome to hear it. I'm not really good with textures, so could some1 make an LAFD paintjob or better yet an LAFD E-350 ambulance? Since it's a california state emergency vehicle it has red steady burns at front, here's a video of it:

@someone22-

The ambulane is due for a full blown interior in the back so don't worry for the doors right now.this mod will only get better as time progresses.

Nevermind the LAFD paintjob, I managed to make one, however I tested this ambulance in game, and the specular map is way too high for everything. It's like everything is shining like brand new polished chrome, even the tyres. Can you please fix these problems? Also a better camera and repositioned wheels would be nice (front lifted, while the rear lowered, just like the real ambulances).

This is the problem I'm talking about:

Also I forgot to mention that I'm using my own handling on it, that's why the front is raised, however this messes up both the handling and also the wheels will look like they have camber on.

Also as for the lights, I don't see why you are using emergency lights as reverse lights / tail lights / any other lights.

I was about to say Yeah!!! But then i saw the light setup.. and i was like: Ahw.. Nice model.. but no red Code 3 MX7000.. like the LAFD:) If you would be able to make a version with the light setup of the old LAFD ambulances(the non led versions) it would be so awesome!

Sgt.Kanyo

I can't promise anything, but I might even be able to get you a Code 3 MX-7000 like that. Although even the ambulance box itself needs to be remodelled (well some parts), for example the right side has 2 windows, while the LAFD only has 1.
