i do but i can't even do anything with me mod after exteacting the poject and the exe file i try to open/run the exe file and it crashes :o( but really wanna play it. looks really amazing and i love realistic mods.

@tzr2, yep, I'm afraid the commandline is required for the overlay to work, without it the overlay sits behind GTA and not on top and you can't see it.

@Powler, are you running XP? It seems to be causing issues for XP users atm, working on a fix though.

i am yes..... thats a shame it looks amazing and fun i cant get on with vista hense why i've not got it lol will it be updated so it can run on xp without any issue's??

Because the system is separate to the game, the names displayed in the owner section will be different to those shown in LCPDFR when you ask for a license. However, the owner box on the ALPR system is the name of the person who owns the car, and not necessarily the person who is currently driving it, in real life they may have borrowed it. You can either not ask for a license and treat the driver as the owner, or you can ask for a drivers license and pretend that they are not the owner.

i have a command tex in my gta folder becase i use a g25 wheel. so i play the game on my desktop and run toms alp system on my labtop. i mean that what most police cars have in them any ways.

That's a good idea nat, though if you wish to use them together, just right click your current commandline and edit it adding the following:

-windowed

quick question is anyone using this mod with replaced vehicle's? apart from police cars? just trying to eliminate my options ;o)

This does not require the game to work, hell you could use it without having GTA installed at all.

Are you using XP?

running in windowed view sucks but great mod, but won't be using cluttered 32inch HD Monitor can't stand seeing the task bar!

You can hide the task-bar by right clicking it and selecting properties then checking "Auto-Hide the taskbar" when your done, just untick it again.

i found it doesn't read it automaticaly and slow's my computer right down unfortunately as i love the idea of this mod :o(

@Big Smoke. You need to ensure that all the files except from the .exe are in the folder called "Project".

can you work on intergrating this into the game some how? i hate windowed mode and it doesn't really work out either. very nice script tough.
