LAPD Ambient Police Radio (APR)

======> Update 1.1

This is my Ambient Police Radio (APR). As a real life Detective I always thinked that the wonderful LCPDFR Mod would

have to become a little bit more "lively ". Maybe many of you do this by yourself, but if not, here is the solution.

These are actual live recordings of the LAPD and NYPD Dispatch. I modifyed the Loudness to here it very nice while you work as a

police Officer (also very realistic outside the car).See and hear it and say me your opinion. Thanks

UPDATE :

In this Update I added actual NYPD Radio Chatter (NY Queens) and a nice, new Radio Button in LCPD Style. I Also modified the Sound

recordings to simulate a Radiochannel switch. You do this with change to next / previous song. It´s not realistic but a nice gimmick

for playing the mod.

Install :

=========

- Put the 4 MP3 Files of the RAR-Package in your User/Dcuments/Rockstar Games/GTAIV/User Music directory.

- For the new LCPD Radiobutton put the 2 .wtd Files in your GTA4/pc/textures directory. Delete existing files if asked. But If

you already have modded Radio Radio Buttons, think about it. These are gone (still original) if you change the .wtd Files. I choose this methode

because many people dont know about using OpenIV or SparkIV.

Ingame go to the Options Menu, Audio. Here you must use the following Settings :

Music volume = full

SFX volume = full

Independence FM Modus = sequentiell

Autoscan = on

Than do a Complete scan.

In Controls Menu change the Buttons for next song (B) to page up, and previous song (N) to page down (thats the way I do it !)

Now you can put on the Police Radio by switching the Radio to the police Channel, and you can change the Channel itself by pressing

page up or down (as I say, its only a nice gimmick).

Its all easy

I hope you like the new recordings, and the way I put them in the game. will see positive votings :)

See you on the streets, your Grabulke

(This modification is only and exclusive for distribution on www.lcpdfr.com !!! Using Parts of the mod only with permission of the

author. send mail via lcpdfr. )

Well if you have steam version the, What you need to do is go to [my computer] click on [users] folder, click on what ever is your user name,click on [AppDate]folder , click on [Local]folder, Scroll down to [Rockstar Games] folder

I got the same problem.

by default the ingame radio is SHUT OFF in police vehicles/Emergency vehicles in singleplayer. so in order to have access to the radio stations including "idependence FM" you must have simple native trainer and set the "mobile radio" option to on. and the default channel to independence.
