  4. I wish you guys the best of luck, the new Tahoe looks sweet! Side note: Medmark, in your last vid you were using some Caprices I had never seen before, are they your models?
  5. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem or has a solution? Pretty much all aspects of 1.0 work flawlessly but after arresting a ped and calling for transport I crash. Every. Single. Time. I can transport them myself with no issues what so ever. Only when I call for a prisoner transport. -Thanks
  6. None of the agencies I replicate use the Valor or I'd use the hell out of this thing, damn.
  7. The Rambars on the cruisers look a little too small.
  8. What the hell is your problem? Stop being such an asshole. Seems like us 16, 17, 18 year olds on here are acting more mature than you seeing as we can have a civil conversation and debate without coming off like ignorant douche bags. I apologize to the mods in advance, I know flame wars are not tolerated but I couldn't help myself, this guy is a total ass. Not gonna post in this section again, have fun arguing over something that really shouldn't have gotten this heated in the first place.
  9. I'm also from Oregon and it is my understanding that POVs can't drive faster than the posted speed limit anyway. I'm pretty sure you are still not considered an emergency vehicle even if you have lights and/or a siren so you don't get to disobey ordinances and laws that apply to normal vehicles. In addition to that if you get into an accident driving like a hooligan when you expect people to get out of the way you are not covered as an emergency vehicle so its out of pocket. On another note, I am personally 17 at the time of this post and I think if you are a trained, certified, first responder in our age range having warning equipment is not out of the question. However, volunteer Search and Rescue doesn't seem to be a Code 3 call for non-paid emergency personnel. Just my opinion. From what I've seen around here, Jackson County, it looked to me that even the marked SAR vehicles owned by the Sheriff's office only have amber lighting anyway. I'm going into fire science and the paramedic program at my local community college next year and will hopefully get my FF1 soon so I can become a volunteer for a department around here. Once I have the proper training and skills to fight fire, respond to MVAs and treat minor to moderate injuries I'm going to look into lighting on my vehicle for the purpose of responding to the station or directly to the incident depending on location. However, being Oregonians, the lighting equipment can't be owned by us either, the department has to own it. Given the budgetary restrictions in place currently all over the state and in turn the country I doubt much will come of it. Again, personally I think the application you're describing (if I understood your post right) doesn't call for code 3 response from explorers. Let us know how it plays out, I'm interested.
  10. Take a stub at doing it yourself, especially considering how simple that is. I would suggest geting Paint.net, its free and is perfect for beginning texture artist. Pretty basic but has everything you need. I have made all my skins using it. If you want more help quote this post so I see it. I won't hold your hand through but I'd be happy to get you started.

Ashland, Oregon is a small town located in Southern Oregon, United States. Situated on I-5 it is the first or last town before the California border. With a population of just over 20,000 the town is a total of about 7 miles in size. Ashland is known primarily for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival that operates all of its theaters in the heart of downtown. In addition to OSF, the area is diverse in it's recreational opportunities with things ranging from river rafting on the Rogue River to wine tasting as well as skiing and snowboarding at Mt. Ashland. The Ashland Police Department is responsible for patrolling the streets and highways in and around Ashland. Their day to day duties resemble many other small municipal departments. They also work in conjunction with other County and State Law Enforcement Agencies including the Jackson County Sheriffs Office and the Oregon State Police. Ashland Fire & Rescue is a full time Fire Department providing both fire protection and EMS services to the town of Ashland and surrounding areas. AFR has two two stations, Station 1 acting as the headquarters and administration location and Station 2 providing quicker response time to the southern areas of Ashland. Included: Two CVPI skins, one of the older style and one of the new. Three Caprice skins, one normal patrol, one supervisor and one unmarked Chief's vehicle. One Charger skin. One AFR Ambulance skin. 12. I saw one of these on Boston's Finest and thought about making one but I don't really use any BPD stuff so I decided not to.
  13. I honestly don't care at all. Doesn't pertain to me so if you want to get married to someone of the opposite sex go for it. I agree with NB as far as giving the priest the discretion to choose who to marry so as to not go against ones faith, and I say that as a non-religious person. The main thing I have a problem with is the completely unnecessary over flamboyance in my opinion. If you're trying to achieve equal rights then stop distancing yourself from straight people by making it blazingly obvious you are different and in turn obnoxiously rubbing your sexuality in everyone's face. You don't see me organizing a "Look At Me I Like Having Sex With Women" pride parade....
  14. Absolutely unbelievable. Officers like that are one of the main reasons a large part of the population have an extreme distrust towards law enforcement and their jobs as public servants. I have to admit I am biased slightly in my opinion as I am personally pursuing a career in the fire service but I think most people would agree that the actions of the CHP officer are so far out of line that he should possibly face punishment. When on scene of an accident, especially on a busy SoCal freeway, at least from my observations, first responders will use their vehicles as potential barriers against other traffic to protect those working to rescue the injured (as stated above). As you can clearly see, the engine is positioned IN THE SAME AREA AS THE CHP CRUISER! What an a$$hole to take a firefighter off scene over a dispute over something so small as where his rig was parked for the time being. Not only that but from what I gathered in the report the firefighter was not even the Captain of the engine and said that he wanted to get approval from his Captain before continuing with the CHP's request. In my opinion that officer is on a severe power trip and instead of concentrating on the pressing issue of a roll over with multiple occupants he found the need to escalate an argument over a relatively unimportant detail and then make sure to assert his power by handcuffing a fellow first responder which not only was huge over reaction but also extremely humiliating in front of a news crew no less. I hope he gets reprimanded, the only thing he accomplished was making himself look like a massive douche. Here is the radio traffic from the incident:
