  1. This is THE MOST bizarre forum thread I have ever read....
  2. UPDATE: Another modder and I have been working together to make a car for release, keep your eyes peeled on the downloads section in the coming days. Thanks guys -Frank No not the flash patterns I mean the actual equipment used and how it is positioned. I was usings Bugs CVPI.
  3. I've wondered about this too, keep us posted on your progress.
  4. Also the lettering is on the door handles...
  5. Yeah I've been using Grady's car for a while and actually had a discussion with him about that model. However, I'm looking for something a lot closer to their actual set up, that's why I tried to make it myself but failed.
  6. EDIT: They also use the ALPR cameras that mount on the light bar, like this: If those could be included I would be super thankful!
  7. THED is working on a Jeep right now, there are WIP pictures floating around a few of the other police modding sites.
  8. Hey guys, I'm posting on here out of pure frustration with my own ability. For about a month I have been trying to make a Portland Police Bureau Crown Victoria. They have a pretty standard car/lighting set up and I found a video with a exact description of the components they use. So I tried my hardest to duplicate it. After getting multiple RC20 errors half way through the project and starting over just to get the same result I'm finally asking someone with more experience to assist me. Are there any modelers that could put this car together for me? I know there are limitations with parts released, I'm not asking you to go out of your way to make it exact, just as close as you can. I'd be happy to provide skinning services as a trade or we could release it as I have made PPB skins for the CVPI. PM me if you're interested. Here is the video showcasing the set up:
  9. Personally I know in one of the rural areas around where I live the lack of county funding has led to there not being a county or municipal FD to serve that area. For that reason there are two "Fire Departments" that are actually for profit corperations operating to fill that lack of service. You pay yearly and if you have an emergency whatever one you pay will come to you. One of those departments here is Grants Pass Rural Fire Department. They have terrible equipment and no training. Here's a video:
  10. I know this might come down to my system but I get an RC20 when I load it.
  11. It's pretty simple, you just find the texture, usually called emergencylights_emis and change the corresponding blue textures to red.

The U.S. Forest Service is a division of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The law enforcement division of the U.S.F.S. is responsible for policing public lands and forests protected under the U.S. Forest Service. This skin is based off of the picture seen below. I tried to get it as close as possible but will update it in the future to make it more accurate if you guys give me any suggestions. I have included two skins, one K-9, one not. I also included two extra textures. One makes the wheels on the model silver instead of black. The other takes away the HG2 license plate lights that I personally think look dreadful. If you would like these skins adapted to other vehicle or templates leave a comment below. Please leave you thoughts below and rate accordingly. If you have ideas on how to make the skins better please let me know, I'm always trying to improve. These skins were created by me, Freakinfuzzball and are exclusive to lcpdfr.com. DO NOT reupload/redistribute anywhere else without explicit permission from me, the author.
  12. Yes, Paint.net has lots more features and is tons easier to use. I use it to make all my textures as well as editing window tinting like you are trying to do. It's basic but it has everything you need.
  13. 1/5 You didn't compress the files so not only do we have to press download on every skin but also do a security check.
