Runs buttery smooth 60fps on my asus with an i7-4700hq and a gtx 765m with 8gb of ram, really surprised to see some others having problems with higher end systems, though not the first time I have seen it happen.

Here goes Rockstar continuing to save themselves from getting chewed out by the PC community, they know the game isn't ready that's why the game keeps getting delayed, not because they want to further optimize it, but because the work they HAVE done isn't fixing the game's various bugs and glitches. So for those who are optimistic about the delays, don't be so surprised if the game still isn't great when it eventually comes out.

I got called to a drug deal took out 1 guy and then injured the second one, called ems for the second one and after they got to him and helped him back up he had his ak still sitting right next to him. I didn't realize he would actually pick it up again because the script is meant for him to get into the ambulance and go to the hospital but he decided against that and I had already put my gun away and was waiting for him to get up. As soon as he was about to walk away he quickly turned on me with his ak and killed me so quickly before I could have reacted! I laughed so hard at that and still do to this day simply cause I didn't think that was possible.

What program did you use to do those? I am trying to get into and starting out with the basics gets you somewhere.

If you want a laptop at around the specs your are asking for your aren't going to get it at your price range unfortunately. Also most gaming laptops now come with a quad core and you might as well go with one because the performance will be much better. The only way to get your price range is to go for a desktop where u can tweak every spec to your liking, but seeing you are asking for a gaming laptop I can assume in your situation you need the mobility like I do. I got mine about last year at this time at around 1200 dollars and thats probably going to be the range at which you will spend for a laptop at those specs, maybe a little less because you want a dual core. Also if you want an nvidia with more than 1gb vram the price will be higher especially if you want one with sli. Anyways good luck at what you can find you never know there might be one out there that fits your range and specs .

The most likely reason it keeps going up and down after a while is due to the steam sale, probably many people logging on causing the servers to get overloaded.

Pre-ordered yesterday, can't wait and hopefully not a disappointment especially stability wise since they delayed the game to work on it more.

Im following the video, but it doesn't seem to work for me. I am trying to set a "Code 2" Command and I put L-ALT for the extend key 1 and J to get the lights to turn on. If anyone can help me please :) not sure what I am doing wrong.

yes they are but you need arma 2 to run arma 2 OA thats the only reason why I thought it would be the same idea.

I bought arma2 oa from steam and had Arma 2 base game (non steam) and it worked, however it was a digital download from amazon not a disc like the sims 3. I wouldn't try it if u don't feel comfortable doing so.

The same issue is happening to me, but I found sorta of a solution. I alt tab out when I am in game and alt tab back in and it fixes it; However, this isn't a great solution because if the game crashed when you alt tab u have to restart the game and keep trying until your game doesn't crash. If you click back in game and it doesn't crash it should work.
