  1. It seems to be linked as the ambient units do the same when there is a call on but not one that I am necessarily attached to. I noted some pursuits seem to go 'endlessly' even though I cannot terminate or see them, so there must be another conflict somewhere?
  2. Hi all. After the recent updates and introducing EUP UE 8.2, I have noticed that: 1. Some AI backup units spawned with Ultimate Backup sync their sirens with mine. The lights dont flash but burn steady, and even when there is no call or job they will turn their sirens on when I do, and off when I do. 2. I have some enhancement mods that dispatch units to calls I dont answer. I have noticed that since these updates some of these calls do not progress or clear and sit idle on the map. When I approach them, then the AI kicks in and the scenario plays, but it doesn't always end with AI just standing there. Not sure if this is a plugin or EUP issue? Thanks
  3. I suggest anyone having this issue checks their GTA V Launcher log. Documents\Rockstar Games\Launcher. I was finding a "Exit code 0xc0000005 indicates a fatal game exit (reason: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION)" error at the bottom. As mentioned above, LML appears to conflict. I read the info and suggestion in this thread and it worked, allowing me to play. Worth a shot?

  5. This!! I dont use LML but parts of the files existed (lml folder, easyhook, modmanager files, etc). I deleted those as above and the game loaded with no violation error.
  6. Please add an ability to toggle the ambient backup option. I like to play where ambient backup will attend automatically, not having to initiate it every single call out?

  8. I keep getting crashes which is a shame because this is an awesome plugin. I also cannot access the Discord... it wont allow me to use my login and auto-sends me to your page to 'claim account' no matter what I do, so I'll put the log file here. I updated uses the hot fixes and also tried downloading them individually. The crashes are continuous although the length of time between them can differ. Usually the shots fired scenario comes up all the time in the log, as is the case with the attached. RagePluginHook.log
    Absolutely a must have. Works like on the box. If you dont respond, an AI unit will and you can locate and follow them. Or, other AI units will be dispatched to random calls which you can also attend. I do find some crashes now and again so 4/5 stars at this time. Worth having though because it is cool to see random cars responding to things around the city.
  9. No worries. The update I was talking to had a very male sounding female dispatcher voice for key road names, such as Vespucci Blvd. Thanks for removing those files in next update - I have done the same manually and so far audio is ok.
  10. Hey mate, love the additions, but NOT the new sound files for street names. The voice does match every single other piece of audio this add-on uses, including the "back up needed" phrases, so it sounds totally off putting. Can you please revert back to the normal sounding female voice dispatcher that links in with the audio in game. Otherwise love the immersion it brings!
  11. Hi all, In Ultimate Backup you can now set a way-point on the map and the back up units respond to that location and standby. Fantastic. How do you make them do something? If I move right up to them then they react to me. But they do not detect threats, exit the car or engage anything unless I go right up to them, which obviously isn't great if your trying to surround a firefight and not leave your cover for example. Any ideas or this is how it is at the moment? Thanks

  14. Hi all. I have updated GTA V and WOV latest installed. When I go on duty I get the following error in the log: It appears to be with ultimate backup which I edited some files to use WOV models. Can anyone work out the error? I ran the XML check in OpenIV and syntax is ok... Chees
  15. How do you stop CPR once started? Been pressing space bar for ages... nothing happening.
    Great variety of calls, they work well and are enjoyable! Work when being a Cop or Firey. Good work!

  17. Scripthook up to date. I see Rage had a small incremental update which it didn't notify me of, so I have now installed that. Will see what happens.
  18. Hi all, I see in my rage log I am getting the same repeating error. I do get crashes but this doesn't seem to be the cause, as there are heaps of them in the log.   19. Hi all, I have run into two issues now with my config running latest LSPDFR with RDE 3.1.1. It all works, except: 1. I try to add a 'Security Guard' custom unit but it always crashes. I was using the base code from the security+ callout but do not have the map edits, etc. included, just the ultimate backup edit. It is included below. When ever I choose 'Security Guard' as code 2 backup, it crashes, giving me the 'system.access.violation' error. 2. I try to use K9 patrol but the only time the dog actually spawns is if I use the traffic stop K9 option. I cannot get a dog to spawn at any other time, even using the K9 back up or special unit, code below. Thanks for the help! EDIT: Sorry for the snippet boxes, cant seem to get it to fit into just the spoiler box.
  20. This issue seemed to fix itself, probably off the back of the other issues I've caused myself! Admin can close this off.
  21. Hi all, I have dipped into RDE 3.1.1 again on the latest version of LSPDFR. I followed the info here and got it work. So RDE loads, all its vehicles and skins load and I put in the ultimate backup plugin so that it would load EUP and ultimateback would use the RDE units. All good and working! What doesn't work? Well, everything else. Lol. I get into ANY emergency vehicle (lore ones and RDE ones) and: the radio plays and it cannot be turned off (no radio wheel shows either), cannot use key to go code 2 (lights no sirens), cannot use key to do a traffic stop (nothing happens). It is as if all emergency vehicles are now no longer registered as emergency vehicles. It means that anything inside emergency vehicles no longer works as LSPDFR intended. There are no error messages that show. Has anyone run into this before? Any assistance welcome. EDIT: I do not use ELS.
  22. The above links provides one option, which is where the plugins take too long to load. My issue was nothing loads. I just sit in space with the whirling wheel on the GTA V RAGE splash screen. I always forget this every update... You gotta go update your mods folder via OpenIV, so that it moves in any new /rpf files. Simply: 1. Access OpenIV and update that if required. 2. You should get a warning or a dialogue box stating you need to update your update.rpf file. Do this. Hopefully this works for you.
