Good :) Several users have reported the same issue you have, for the moment avoid doing that. I also noticed you have the freval error. The freval error was fixed for some users by doing this: Open up your LCPDFR.ini, look under "Main", it should look something like this by default:

Now, add to the bottom of that part
PreloadAllModels=TrueThe "Main" part should now look like this:

*Sigh*....Yes of course you need to buy the game to play online. Here's the solution to your problem.
Buy either of these and then ask for support again.

Try to install LCPDFR manually, by following this guide ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>) or the one in the LCPDFR User Manual.

No, that does not matter. When LCPDFR is activated, all islands are unlocked.

Do you have either DSOUND.dll or XLIVE.dll in your GTA IV directory?

    Also, please install these

I'll be thinking about how I put my replies in the future but I think it works fine. If you wish to discuss that particular subject further, feel free to send me a PM.

I took the screenshot on page 15 of the manual, under the heading "CONFIGURATION FILE SETTINGS AND VALUES".

I'm not sure what you mean, It works for most people who use the manual installer if that is what you are asking.
  13. ineseri's post in Can't Play Anymore was marked as the answer
That would be it, you need to install all mods one by one and then test the game.
And yes it should, to be safe; go to the GTA IV directory after uninstall is complete and delete any left-over files.
  14. ineseri's post in Load Fail was marked as the answer
I think you will have to remove your savegame files, as they may cause some issues when loading the game. The save files are located in 2 different places.

What are your computer specs? Sounds like your system is running out of memory. You could try opening the LCPDFR ini, and add the following line under [Main]
    PreloadAllModels=True
  17. ineseri's post in AdvancedHookInit.asi After Hotfix 1.0a was marked as the answer
It should work just fine, just skip using that file if you want the manual taser to work. You can, however use it and see if it works this time around.
  18. ineseri's post in Xbox Live is not working after I installed 1.0a hotfix. was marked as the answer
If you are using the xlive.dll asi loader, GFWL will be disabled. You would have to use dsound.dll instead.

  19. ineseri's post in GTA IV crashes on start was marked as the answer
If you are going to follow the above advise, but still want the taser follow this guide (>www.lcpdfr.com/topic/25936-how-to-manually-install-the-lcpdfr-taser-in-lcpdfr-10/?p=204104). You will also have to run the game as administrator, regardless of what you do. Running the game as administrator: Go to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe.

  22. ineseri's post in Game w/LCPDFR 1.0a crashing was marked as the answer
I'm pretty sure this isn't a LCPDFR error, but a computer error, or more precisely, your computer not being able to keep up with GTA IV. You can try creating a file called commandline.txt in your GTA IV directory and add the following lines:
-renderquality 0 -shadowdensity 0 -texturequality 0 -viewdistance 0 -detailquality 0 -novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -minspecaudio -novsync -renderquality 0 -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict It will force the game to minimum settings, reducing all settings. I think that is your issue here.
  23. ineseri's post in Civilians not yielding to the police was marked as the answer
Are you using the ELS or in-game siren? Because they will only yield to the in-game one, the ELS one is just sound.
  24. ineseri's post in LCPDFR v1.0a Hotfix was marked as the answer
If you already have 1.0 installed, you use the hotfix. If not, you can apply the manual install since it already has the hotfix.
