Multnomah County Sheriff Skins release
Don't get me wrong, I like the Edge but I'm trying to recreate my areas agencies and as it is, the Sheriff is the only one left using the Edge and there's only a few of them left, 90% I'd say of the cars here use the liberty

Multnomah County Sheriff Skins release
Greetings LCPDFR, I just created some new Multnomah County Sheriff skins for the CVPI and two Tahoe models. I will post the CVPI skin but before I post the Tahoe skins I have some questions about the models I skinned them for. By dramacydal503 at 2012-04-14 By dramacydal503 at 2012-04-14 By dramacydal503 at 2012-04-14 (Less Lethal Shotgun not included) By dramacydal503 at 2012-04-14 But first, the CVPI skin; http://img13.imagesh...3/9119/mcso.png Now, the 06 K-9 Tahoe Skin; This skin was made for EVI's Washington Metro Police Department K9 Tahoe, I'd appreciate it if someone could point out any other Tahoe's that use this model(If it's open, come to think of it.) Also, is there a version of this model with a non wrap around rambar? http://img163.images...06mcsotahoe.png Here is the newer model Tahoe Skin; This skin was made for KevinDV + Cj24's Tahoe, . I would also like it if some could point out other uses of this model, thanks. http://img855.images...10mcsotahoe.png For those of you who are not familiar with Multnomah County it is the seat of the Portland Metro and the home of world famous former top cop Sheriff John Bunnell. Real life versions of these skins: http://www.flickr.co...ios/4389510260/ for the CVPI's Older Tahoe, http://www.flickr.co...ech/1314203672/ New Tahoe, http://www.mcso.us/p...arros%20Rig.jpg These skins are quite accurate with the exception of the Tahoe skins, the reason being is that I made them specifically for models that I could find with a modest lightbar setup that used the Whelen Liberty. The first good K-9 Tahoe with a Whelen Liberty just happened to be EVI's fantastic Tahoe and I could not find a non-K9 version of the same model, nor could I find a newer model Tahoe that was a K-9 unit. This is quite minor in my opinion so I have accepted it even though in reality, the K9 and non K9 Tahoe's in Multnomah County are the opposite, K9 unit being the newer Tahoe and non K9 being the older Tahoe. Feel free to modify these skins and use them as you wish, but give credit where credit is due, to Dramacydal503 for the skins. Thanks to the modellers for creating these great models which I made these skins for, it's so nice finding a Tahoe or any other model that isn't a christmas tree and doesn't have a bunch of useless junk. EDIT: If anyone knows of ANY models that feature the Whelen Liberty with a Go Rhino rambar(Especially a CVPI), please post them. I'm also looking for an older(03-06) Tahoe with a Whelen Edge and Go Rhino rambar. Thanks guys! Oh and NO CHRISTMAS TREES! Looking for tastefully done mods only, as the departments in my area(MCSO, Portland Police, Gresham Police) typically use only a Whelen Liberty or Edge and perhaps a traffic advisor in the rear. Thanks for looking! Sorry for ramling

Bugs/issues in 0.95 RC1
For the disappearing player model, I just use SNT to spawn a new cop model and it fixes the problem.

I'd like to see routine calls show up in Outstanding calls for officers to assign themselves to, and Urgent and Immediate priority calls assigned by dispatch. If no dispatcher is available you could allow them to be placed into the queue of Outstanding calls for self dispatch as needed. A dispatcher should be able to communicate with Officers, to facilitate the inquiry into an officer's current disposition, say if they've been assigned to a call for an extended period of time. If the officer forgot to mark themselves available they could then be dispatched and if they're on a routine call and an immediate call is holding they could be reassigned, with the routine call still being in their inquiries for after they've finished with the priority call. Dispatchers would be able to note the area the officer is assigned to and if no officer is available they could dispatch an officer from out of area to priority calls. I don't know how easy it would be to program, but I have a couple of sound effects you could have the system make, one for a call being assigned, one for dispatch making inquiry, etc. Often in my area, if a low priority or routine call has been holding for a while, a Sgt will get on the air and request an officer to clear their current call to take care of it. With the new dispatch system there should be a time stamp of when a call was generated and should be marked for attendance if it's been holding for an extended time. I've got a few more thoughts on the matter but those are the most important of my ideas so far. Keep up the good work Braveheart

what to do with the homeless
I just read the other day an interesting memo put out by the Portland Police Bureau regarding mental health issues, with a short history of mental health care in society. A large number, a majority most likely, of the transient populations within our societies have mental health issues. If you look back forty years ago when they started deinstitutionalizing people with mental health issues you'll find a large spike in transient populations. Most of today's homeless would probably have been put in a mental asylum up into the '60s. The money and concern just isn't there today so our society's mental health problems have largely been relegated to a criminal justice problem, especially when you factor in our drug laws.. those who would be looked at with concern and compassion in the past are now scorned for simply being addicts, which is only a symptom of the root mental health issue most homeless face.

I would like to see a traffic stop feature and my idea for it is that you could choose traffic stop in the OFFICER STATUS section, and where OTHER is you would put your location. After updating the status it would take you to a page where you could enter in the details of the stop(Original location of traffic violation and where you finally land, reason for citation and issue amount and whether person had valid license/warrants for arrest). If you can log the name of the person stopped and add a feature where you can check the persons name in the future to see what they have previously been stopped/ticketed for. I still suggest leaving the Submit Ticket under inquiries for ped citations, though.

This is really cool. I'd like to see either integrated into LCPDFR or into a seperate mod a tool which will generate a name and dob(Perhaps an address too) for anyone we deal with in the game, not just traffic stops. That would really step it up a notch. Good work so far. I'm going to test out the new features and report back if there are any bugs. EDIT: The ADD CALL button under inquiries isn't working, redirects to an errorpage with site 000. Also it would be good to have a NOTES feature under Inquiries where officers can add notes for themselves.

I really like this tool, pretty neat. I borrowed the wife's netbook last night and set it up beside me to have an 'MDT'(Shh don't tell her). I would like to see a proper login for each officer, then when I attach myself to a call it would show up in my incidents area. Another would be to come up with a database of dispositions available to the officer and perhaps make them editable for each officer. Say, have a database of in-service, out of service, on location, call complete(With further dispositions of Arrest, Summons issued, Warning, Citation, Report Written, Unable to locate, False complaint, Assignment complete), etc. When I say editable I mean let the officer assign a code for each disposition. In my area they use 10 codes for each major disposition and letter's for each call complete disposition. It could be stored to that officer's database and then in the reporting area you could simply check off your disposition code and it would report it to the rest of the users in plain text(IE: For myself I'd use 10-8 ADAM for in-service, arrest made) and it would show that as my last call in the incident reporting area and at the end of any report written for the call. If that is too much then just adding plain text dispositions would be great. Eventually this would be good to port to an application, one that could run full screen(For users like me who would prefer to run it on another computer while playing) or windowed for those who have to switch applications. Call assignments could be assigned by dispatch(just text, too much work for audio and it would become boring to hear the same exact dispatch over and over) for officers in-service and sounds could be added to mimic the alert sounds that an MDT makes when an officer takes a call. A map would be cool too, it could be divided into smaller districts within the sections, so those of us not familiar with street names would have a better idea of where the call is coming from. After the map is implemented I'd be happy to help out with adding names for the various streets. It really is too bad that multiplayer for IV w/mods is basic at best. This would make an awesome component to a role play server. That said, I think this is going to add a lot to my single player gaming. I patrol my beat and leave myself in-service in game and listen to the dispatch for priority calls and in the mean time I generate incidents through this tool for non-priority calls. It adds a part of the game I've been looking for. It gets boring speeding from one location to another code 3, going from one shooting to another. Role playing that you're responding to a call is boring when you have to think of everything yourself and takes the fun out of the randomness of calls. This has managed to change that up. I enjoy what you've made so far and I look forward to the future implementations of this tool.
