  13. http://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_11_2013/post-8872-0-39798000-1385678686.jpgI was playing about with the idea of CS Spray today. I know it hasn't been a possible option so far, but as an LCPDFR fan who is trying to adapt my game to represent British Policing, I have had a crack at customising my weapons. This is mainly for my own benefit, just so weapons are a little more plausible to represent Policing in the uk. I started by adapting the Barretta to be replaced by the Taser that you normally find with LCPDFR mod. This worked well and was simple to change and undo should I want. I then toyed with the idea of getting rid of the pistol in favour of a non lethal weapon. Which made me think about the taser, as I had already installed it to the weaponsinfo.xml. So copied the info making little amendment such as the range and then I replaced the glock with a slightly modified flashbang grenade. Sound was easy to replace with spray sound and the overall effect was fun for playing LCPDFR. What I was really hoping to do was add effect to the "CS" to actually indicate some form of projectile liquid. The taser obviously gives off the muzzle effect of electricity, but I was trying to figure out if I could get a smoke particle effect to emit from the CS. I've tried every idea and failed. All I can think of is Abraxas vdH Police helper and how the effects work on the fire extinguisher. As modders have already put in flamethrowers as weapons, Im hoping someone can think of a clever script to emit a small spray or puff off smoke that can resemble cs gas from the weapon. I'm putting it out to the forum in the hope that someone much better at scripting can come up with a good idea or create a script that will help. Any suggestions will be gratefully received. I have added a link to a short take from an early game where I used the spray. Hopefully it might inspire someone to create a fully working script. -

  19. My bad, the modifier key to place weapons in is SHIFT + T, I messed up and put wrong modifier in INI. I'll reupload that now
  20. I was being a plum and had an older version of scripthook running. Persistent person works perfectly, Im still having issues with everything car, but nothing that doest take minor tweaking. Saying that there is a confliction between putting a weapon in a car and calling for a tow truck (vdH). The function for the tow truck (Ctrl+T) should be disable especially with the helper running, but it continues to work causing an over keen tow driver to come and take my car when I attempt to put a gun away. I'm trying to work around this with adapting the different .ini files involved, but not having much luck even when adapting the everythingcar.ini
  21. Curses. I simply get errors when attempting to use 'everything car' and 'Persistent Persons'. I've tried changing the intervals, no joy. Cant quite figure out what's wrong, but they both receive errors at the same time upon loading the game.
