Gonna have to run the game first and then RPH it should hook it did for me and I was able to run LSPDFR with no crashes. I think they are going to probably release another fix for this soon I hope.

Had the same problem, you need to download gamebackup file here and extract to your GTA game folder https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/165031822848294912/328320176741285888/GameBackups.zip it works but for me it's now just hanging at waiting for game to load, let us know if it does the same for you. I just allowed the latest update and installed the latest Scripthook V released recently, now when I load RPH it crashes with no explanation, I was able to once before utilize RPH to revert back to the older version since I backed it up, but now when I try to do that it attempts to do it and RPH crashes, I installed the latest RPH after that and it tries to convert the old save file it too crashes. I have done a verify integrity of the game and it still crashes I'm including a attached screenshot of my GTA V root directory maybe someone can help me figure out what' s gone wrong? BTW it's the non-steam retail version with the 7 DVDs. so I'm not keen on reinstalling if I don't have to. I realize this may be one for the RPH guys and I will have to contact them. Update according to RPH their is a newer release that fixes the restore crash, but their servers are down at the moment. Follow their Twitter for more updates. Thanks

No, actually it started after I took out Drop The Weapon which some one else suggested removing after I requested help and submitted my log. Thanks

I realize this is not for LSPDFR issues but since I can't get help from RPH because they don't offer support for outdated RPH as they emphatically told me on their Discord, it was suggested in the LSPDFR forum that I post this here. I have not updated the 052 version as I understand it does not support Scripthook V yet, I don't know if it's connected but anytime that I try to use forceduty LSPDFR.dll crashes, if I reloadplugin same thing, I attached my latest RPH log. "maybe Rage somehow shut off compatibility so they aren't held liable to T2G, " That is what I was starting to wonder, is the scripthook no longer compatible to make sure that Rage doesn't also get hit with a cease and disist order from T2 like OpenIV did? If that's the case then RPH is only good up to .52 and that's the end of that as far as compatibility with current and future GTA upgrades, what does that mean for LSPDFR? I fear it does not bode well my fellow enthusiasts.

So your advice worked sorta, I was not able to get the Activation message again, not sure why, so I connected to the server and immediately the update started to download and verify so I hit the block button but it still downloaded when I went to go open RPH, what do you know, Sorry you have a newer version of the game blah blah, but it also said that I had backed up the older version which I had , and did I want to restore it, hell ya I wanted to, so I chose that option it magically extracted the old version and saved my butt! I proceeded to play offline and no issues. so the only way it worked for me was to allow the update and re-activation and to revert to the old version, otherwise the block appears to have not worked, well at least I can play offline again. Which leads me to a semi related question, what's the deal with Script Hook not working with the latest RPH release? Any idea, and could this be the end of Script Hook working with GTA? Could Rockstar have released this latest update in conjunction with shutting down modding altogether? Which leads most of us to believe that it's more about greed than security, agreed.

Well it's double edged sword, there is a legitimate reason and that is the cancer that are modders abusing the online system are out of control, yes they ban them but not enough, that's the legitimate as for the other reasons yeah not so legitimate and pretty much is about $$

I'm not sure anyone wants to risk taking on T2s legal team as I'm sure they have the best money can buy, that said It's a simple case of David VS. Goliath, get yer sling shots ready boyz, hit them where it hurts, Boycott em other than the petition or reconsideration on their part it's the only way! Besides like OpenIV said court cases take a long time the whole thing would be tied in up in the court dockets and unless someone can get a judge to stop T2 till the case is heard it's just not worth it! Not to mention OpenIV said that they can not reveal the source code due to something not being legal? I don't think that's something you want to take into a legal battle.

So can I use the block GTA update application to avoid the update? Looks like the answer is no as the Blocker makes it so the launcher thinks Rockstar servers are offline?. So what do I do to avoid this update and still play? BTW I don't have the Steam version so the Update Blocker by Justin should work. Thanks

So any idea how big this update is? because all I got was like 68mb and it looks like I still have 1032, so the question is can I run it offline? Let's see, the answer is no, oddly it loaded the game and after RPH hooked I got a splash screen I have never seen before saying the same thing about Activation, the damn game has been activated for months now, this is infuriating to say the least!

Damn, well I really had no choice as it would not let me play offline without connecting to the server so I wouldn't be able to play anyway it kept telling me I need to connect to activate it. Ridiculous! Odd thing is RPH says I have 1032.1 so did it get updated or not?

Great it just hit me with the update too late, damn! I did chose Backup current game version recently in RPH maybe that can save me? Scratch that it's telling me "You currently have no backup of the currently installed version"

My current RPH is 052.106 I have not as of yet downloaded the latest Rockstar update as I'm concerned about the possibility something may screw things up, can anyone can confirm there are no issues with the latest update and it's working smoothly with RPH 0.54 andLSPDFR with no issues before i do this? Well I hope your right, nevertheless while modding may still be legal, you have to admit that the tool that is used for modding is no longer available by a legal cease and dissist order and nothing has been said about further action beyond the makers and distributors of OpenIV but you have to have wonder if they are serious enough to make the prevention of distribution and use of OpenIV a priority? What I get from this is he is saying that something is not kosher about OpenIV and because it's not they can not or will not release the source code.

I don't think it's an over reaction, it could turn into a domino effect, consider the fact that many modders players upload videos to Youtube what happens if Youtube I.E. Google says nope it's illegal now and we don't want you uploading any more modded videos?

This latest update that just came out wouldn't be an effort to patch the game so it doesn't work with OpenIV would it?

I just found out about this and all I can say is BoyCott the rat bastards, They claim it is taking away from GTA online revenues, what a load, if they are so damned greedy that modding is interfering with their making money from something that is free to play in the first place, they know where they can go!

Hello, I have LSPDFR and it runs, but I have OpenIV installed, and GTA works only if I have dinput8.dll in the directory, and I have to select both ASI in OpenIV ASI Manager for the Rage Plugin Hook to work. I can't get online with it installed , and when I take it out, GTA crashes with the old nagging, game data corrupt message. I've looked all over the net and can' t find any answer except that the RPF file may have been changed after installing a mod, most of the mods I installed were self installing from gamemodding. It's not like the game doesn't work, I just can't GET on GTA online anymore when I take out the dll, now it just crashes, I have no problem with FiveM but the same happens with GTA Net, I have done a verify game data twice now, including removing the RPF file in Update so short of reinstalling which like most, I really don't want to, is there something I'm missing? Being a native from L.A. I am very familiar with the LAPD ASD and Hooper Heliport where they are based out of, when I lived there I used to monitor 122.750 corridor traffic and 123.025 and .05 and listen to the birds talk to each other and the ASD HQ on my scanner, my question or suggestion depending on whether it's been discussed or not is has anyone given any serious thought to A. creating a scenery addon or even mod for an actual Hooper like Heliport complete with an ASD Heliport, where missions can be flown from, instead of just PD station rooftops or just spawning a Polvmav, by the way i just discovered that the Spotlight Mod works quite well with the Air Unit, I'm sure others are also aware of this. Oh I was wondering why is the patrol vehicle for ASD in LSPDFR a jet and not a air unit? It's not a dumb question, I was once a noob too to GTA, I got the latest patch off a patch site not sure where, just search the for latest GTA V Patch and you should find it, it will be a zip file with the update in it, should be good to go after that. Good luck.

Well as I expected it didn't take long for me to screw something up, I'm getting "Err_GEN_INVALID" which I take it is a general error that whose cause is not defined. I I just don't know what I screwed up, the last thing I installed was OpenIV and Modding DLC Pack V 1.1 before that was a few mods but nothing that alters the game much. I tried running in Safe Mode but same error, I ran GTAVlancher with verify files in CMD prompt like they tell you it checks but no joy, All I got is this in the log "Game exited with code 0x80000003" So I guess I either do a reinstall or try to figure out where I screwed up, any other suggestions would be helpful. Thanks Update I figured out how to search the forum and found a similar post that had the same problem I replaced the update.rpf file and it's working now, but I would like to know if it was OpenIV that caused it like it did for them or something else? Here is what their post said but when I want to update via Open IV launch my game... I w" I think the Improved Spotlight and LED was the problem for them. ...an error message is displayed "ERR_GEN_INVALID " I finally found the problem was to file Update.rpf specifically the old version of this mod" I will post a link to the post if that's allowed.
