Okay guys, So im licensed Surety Agent with the Ohio Department of Insurance to recover bail skips. Otherwise popularly known as a "bounty hunter". Basically, your bondsman gives you a file containing information about your suspect such as, a mugshot, physical description, and basic criminal record including the crime he/she is currently on bond for. Then you hit the streets to find him. Checking where he hangs out, interviewing loved ones, etc. I love this job and I think others, including me, would love to enjoy it through role play. What better place for it than LSPDFR? I have beeen playing LSPDFR since the days of LCPDFR and I have always thought a "Warrant Script" would be an incredibly interesting and fun expansion to LSPDFR. Many police departments, sheriff offices, U.S. Marshals, and FBI have "Fugitive Recovery Task Forces". An experienced developer could create a plugin that generates a file on a wanted ped who frequents a few pre-designated areas. Maybe include a location on their house, place of work, and a bar/extracurricular activity. It would then be up to the player to search these areas for the ped based on the suspects mugshot. No blips or hints, just hitting the streets to find him! Integrated meetings/calls with confidential informants that call up and tell you, for example, the guy is currently trying to board a plane at LSIA. This gives players an awesome new way to role play as U.S. Marshals, Bounty Hunters, or more specialized police units. Roll up in a blacked out SUV and nab the guy! And of course ambient scenarios. He could pull a gun, foot chase, maybe he's apart of a gang, etc.. Maybe even serve a warrant on the house. Surround it and make entry (similar to the burglary add-on callout currently in LSPDFR). Surveilance, steakouts, there really are endless opportunities for expansion! Im willing to offer any help I can to someone who would be willing to take on this awesome script modification. I'm sure you would receive tons of downloads. This would be an entirely new activity for officers in LSDPFR. Wait......Just kidding. Only POLICE is working with ELS.....ill try redoing the VCF files. This is so complicating and confusing. @Lieutenant Dan

@Lieutenant Dan I GOT IT WORKING!!!!!!! I have another question :) Do you know of any ENB or other graphic type files that are low on system requirements? Or in other words..... do you know a way to make the lights brighter without taking up too many PC resources?

Crap, I will try in about 15 min. Im currently restoring the whole thing from a backuped version made just before I started messing with the vehicles. I diddnt think it'd work so i was restoring to vanilla. Ill replace the SHV and keep you updated man

So 1011 is supported with ELS? @Lieutenant Dan I dont think I replaced the SHV when prompted to replace or keep

I have everything installed on OPEN IV.....i checked that earlier because i thought it couldve been a problem, Ive been working on this for days so im glad i have more brainpower thinking about this now @M3Creepsta is GTA 1011 supported with ELS?

Okay so i got the vehicles in and the VCF files.....BUT AGAIN SAME PROBLEM. There is absolutely no response from ELS. I heard that there is a key to turn ELS on and OFF but i dont have a scrolllock key on my keyboard....is that my problem or is ELS just screwed up? Now I am going to have to restore to backups and go back to vanilla files because i cant turn any lgihts on @M3Creepsta @Lieutenant Dan

@M3Creepsta This is so confusing in the way the developer worder this. I appreciate your help a lot man! He says to place the files here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday14ng\dlc.rpf\ But that line takes me to a folder that still has an x64 folder within it. So im assuming I should still follow it further than he said to place it....and take it all the way to the vehicles.prf ? Then when replacing the VCF files....do i do that through the normal file system...or thru OPEN IV?

@M3Creepsta So i just wont be able to use ELS at all? I have another question.... The vehicle models I am trying to install now says to put the files into patchday14. But my patchday14 does not have the necessary police, police2, fbi, etc. For me those files are spread between patchdays like 2-5. Do i still place the files in patchday14 even though the files needed to be replaced are not in that patchday? Or do I scan through all the patchdays and replace the specific police, police2, etc.? @BLS501 @Lieutenant Dan or should i replace them through x64e ? Because thats the only place that they are all in the same folder.

Yes. I placed them within the pack_default per the instructions in the readme. @LieutenantDan

Yep, you just drop them in the ELS file, correct? and even then, would I still be able to pull up the basic menu and such? @BLS501

Hey guys, I've been an avid LSPDFR player since the LCPDFR days. I absolutely love this mod and this amazing community that has created something that completely enhances the GTA series. Anyways, I have not been able to get ELS to work in my game and any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm not incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to modding and all of it's ins-and-outs but im fairly experienced due to the time Ive put into this game. I have installed ELS correctly, that much I am sure of. At least I followed the installation instructions to a T. Yet the script does not give me any response when I try to activate it in game. There's no sounds, cant use any lighting, cant even pull up the menu. I have tried all sorts of different ELS enabled vehicles and such with no luck whatsoever. This suc,s because I am unable to use any of the sweet ELS enabled cars (im stuck with vanilla police vehicles). The game operates without any glitches or such so i doubt it is a performance issue. AMD Phenom(™) II X6 1100T Processor 3.30 GHz, 8.00GB Installed Memory (RAM), 64 bit Operating System, Windows 10 Any help you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated. It would complete my game, literally.

This post is absolutely confusing....I have played LCPDFR for a long time. Started again in the start of 2017 and it just completely wont work. The game wont even launch. If i follow these steps will it work? All the mods, everything. Im not concerned with multiplayer, only single player.

So GTA IV EFLC starts up fine, but when I call for backup (any type) the dispatcher will dispatch an officer then the game immediately crashes. Log attached. No third party mods, not even vehicles. The game runs fine, decent FPS textures etc., I dont believe it's a system issue. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix the problem?
