My directional lights float inside the cabin, and I have no idea why, here's a picture of my hierarchy, (misc_h is the directional light's housing, I'm using Whelen Raiders)

Yup! Just went for something kinda basic, and also based them off of how I did my Liberty City Fire Rescue textures that I haven't released.

So lately I've decided to attempt to create some models and I've so far have been focusing on three, first up is this FPI Next is a marked 2015 Charger. And finally is an unmarked 2015 Charger I don't have great screenshots and everytime I try to use FRAPs or Dxtory with GTA IV my GTA IV crashes so no videos or better screenshots for now. Also the unmarked Charger has two Whelen Raiders in the grille and a Whelen Inner Edge XLP too, I've slightly modified the textures so the lenses are smoked. Please leave me feedback and suggestions.

Don't have a picture because if I open the file it messes up the model completely so I have to completely restart from the stock model if I add the lights, but I have the lights located underneath the chassis.

So I'm trying to build an unmarked charger, and whenever I add in any lights and put them in the windshield, when I export it the windows turn white in game and in OpenIV. I don't have any problem if I just have grill lights though and I've tested it with multiple different models and have gotten the same result. I'm using GeorgieMoon's Charger.

Awesome thanks! I'm quite new to doing modeling, so I'm still figuring some stuff out, I had my extras attached to eachother, so now to resize the lights I have to deattach them from each other, but I can't seem to figure out how to detach the extras from eachother.

I couldn't find any good reference pics of them mounted on the outside, how small should they be?

Thought I'd present this Tahoe I've been working on, right now I've been testing it to make sure everything works, and so far it seems good. There seems to be one thing missing though which is the FlexFuel badge on the rear, and I might add a few more small things. Please comment and give me suggestions about it!

Thank you, I figured out what I was doing wrong and I've made my first model, albeit basic, I like it. Now is there any difference between just putting the pushbumper under chassis or actually attaching it to the bumper?

So I'm trying to create just a simple unmarked Tahoe model, and I'm utilising Bxbug's Tahoe model, and then the Tahoe Sentina pushbar, and his Whelen Talon dashlight as well. I have them in place but all the tutorials I'm seeing talk about helpers and misc which I only have misc, but then in my models for the pushbar and dashlight there's Skel_L0+Skel_L1 which make the model disappear if I unselect them. So which do I put into chassis, the dropdown files with extras in it or the skel files? I'm also having problems dragging talon into the tahoe's chassis too, it only goes under tahoe, and not chassis.
