  1. Will's post in More problems when playing. was marked as the answer
    This is your issue:

    [iNFO - 22:17:33] AdvancedHook 0.34 © 2010-2014 LMS - Initialized

You are using an outdated AdvancedHook.dll, the most recent version is 0.38. Download the manual installation and copy the AdvancedHook.dll from it to your main GTA IV directory.
  2. Will's post in Error in script 'LCPDFR_Loader.Loader'! (All current threads have not helped) was marked as the answer
    Please install this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679
  3. Will's post in LCPDFR 1.0: How to install a hotfix? was marked as the answer
You can install the hotfix right over any version of 1.0, however .95 has to be fully uninstalled before installing 1.0. I recommend using the manual install as the automatic installer might not replace some files with the new ones. Just copy and replace everything from the installation to the main GTA IV directory.
  4. Will's post in install ELS 8.0 and LCPDFR has encountered an eror was marked as the answer
Make sure you use the AdvancedHook that comes with LCPDFR 1.0d, as the one with ELS is outdated (you may need to get it from the manual install). If you still have issues, please post your logs.

  6. Will's post in A few simple Questions was marked as the answer
    1) Run the Diagnostic Tool and check your installation. You can view the log after running it, and it is saved in your LCPDFR folder.

    2) If you set this option, the random foot pursuits that GTA IV spawns will not count as pursuits in LCPDFR.

    3) Prefer keyboard input I believe will disable the ability to use a controller for LCPDFR functions.

    4) If you press F8, you will be given some pursuit options. Use the arrow keys and enter to navigate the menu.
  7. Will's post in Plz help, got ALOT of problems was marked as the answer
Thank you for a detailed report.

For the blurriness, that is a GTA IV function. Press P again and it will return to normal. You can change the keybind for definition in the control options on the pause screen.

For the exit error, you can ignore that. It is related to how LCPDFR installs the taser.

For the d3dx9_43.dll, install this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

For the directory issues, only "LCPDFR Loader.net.dll" should be in the scripts folder. Everything else should be in the main GTA IV folder. If you have a folder (folder, not file) called "LCPD First Response," this is because the installation screwed up. Open it, and copy all of its contents out to your main GTA IV folder, then delete it.
  8. Will's post in My Quick Menu isn't working was marked as the answer
Press Tab while holding Caps Lock to cycle through the different categories (I was confused by this as well during testing, so don't worry)
  9. Will's post in LCPDFR error was marked as the answer
Download the manual install of LCPDFR and copy the AdvancedHook.dll to your main GTA IV directory.
  10. Will's post in LCPDFR 1.0 not installing was marked as the answer
Follow this tutorial to fully uninstall .95, then install 1.0c: https://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/how-to-uninstall-lcpdfr-095-r19
  11. Will's post in Problem with callouts was marked as the answer
The callout probably won't load if you are in the yellow circle when you accept it. I think LCPDFR will cancel it because it could result in people and/or cars spawning right in front of you. Press Y as soon as you get the callout.
  12. Will's post in Cannot re-enter police car after exiting was marked as the answer
What key do you have set to enter the car? The default is F. If you are opening the rear door, then you are pressing the key in LCPDFR to open that door, default is E.
  13. Will's post in ELS v8 Lights don't have "glow" was marked as the answer
Because that's all ELS lights are...textures that light up. If you want a better bloom effect, then you need an "Enhanced Natural Bloom" mod, otherwise known as an ENB. The default game's lights will not be very bright.

Timecyc or visualsettings mods will work as well, and will not have as much of an impact on performance. I personally use this: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  14. Will's post in LCPDFR crashes (logfile included) was marked as the answer
Make sure you are using the ScriptHookDotNet.asi that comes with LCPDFR. If you have ScriptHookDotNet.dll, delete it.
  15. Will's post in Ai issues was marked as the answer
This isn't an issue, it's just the way the AI is. Sometimes you have to switch siren tones to get them to respond to the siren, and sometimes they won't respond at all. If you are crashing your car then you just need to drive better.
  16. Will's post in A good tutorial that explains how to install the mod was marked as the answer
You have to press Alt-P to start the mod after completing at least the first mission.
  17. Will's post in support needed ASAP D: was marked as the answer
Sure, the default peds.ide line should be this:

    M_Y_Swat, M_Y_Swat_p, COP, move_m@swat, GESTURES@MALE, GESTURES@M_PHONE, FACIALS@M_LO, visemes@m_lo, 0, move_m@swat, null, -1,-1, PED_TYPE_PLAYER, VOICE_PLY_CR,   VOICE_PLY_CR
  18. Will's post in Help, emergency ELS VEHCILE ROAMING was marked as the answer
Increase the value for "ChanceOfRandomDispatch" to something higher than 8 to decrease the chance of a random ambulance spawning.
  19. Will's post in FILE CORRUPT? Help! was marked as the answer
It looks like you are trying the mount the img. To open it, you need to use SparkIV or OpenIV, not disc image mounting software.

Did you try...reinstalling Games for Windows Live?
  21. Will's post in LCPDFR Will Not Start [2] was marked as the answer
n? I'll need more to go on than "n." If it still isn't working then I don't know where to go from here. It still seems to be a dependency issue. Just try completely reinstalling LCPDFR from scratch using the manual installation.
  22. Will's post in LCPDFR will not Start was marked as the answer
Uninstall the 64 bit version of Microsoft C++ Redistributable and see if it works.

  23. Will's post in Microsoft Visual C+ inquiry was marked as the answer
It shouldn't matter if you have more than what it is needed. I have 24 C++ Redistributables installed from games installing different versions.
  24. Will's post in Arrest Function keys not working was marked as the answer
Are you continuing to aim at them while using the menu? You have to keep aiming.
  25. Will's post in AI's using unecessary lethal force? was marked as the answer
You can press F8 while in pursuit and use the arrow keys and enter to navigate the menu that pops up. One of the options that is available is Toggle Lethal Force
