  1. yup. that sounds like something sam would do.
  2. whats funny is that the banner says "an explosive last stop". wouldent it be the last stop if they released lspdfr?
  3. personally ive come to pass the time by watching crime reality shows. though i can't help but look at the forums every few seconds
  4. i knew someone would edit the website text eventually....
  5. This reminds me of when lcpdfr 1.0 came out and everyone was checking the website code for surprises lol. personally im not THAT excited mainly cause my mind has been on my cat climbing on my keyboard while i try to win a deathmatch in gta online. but now that im looking at the website.....
  6. well i mean, i would use els if it was made available but all i really need is the lights on without the siren. otherwise everything is perfect.
  7. true dat. i guess lcpdfr really branched out into a brand after it became popular and people really took off with the possibilities with it. its amazing really. That lcpdfr was really a small idea in sam's brain that thought "huh..what if you could turn the tables and be a cop in a sandbox game like gta iv". fast forward to 2015 and even though gta v is out and there is no lspdfr quite yet. the site still seems to get hundreds of views per day. plus their are even other mods that were completely inspired by lcpdfr still being created today. its like......a big balloon of creativity that keep getting bigger and doesn't pop on everyone's faces. its pretty cool. and it really inspires me in a very cheesy soap opera like way.
  8. Quick question, once lspdfr is released along with lspdfr.com, will all gta v downloads, disscusions, and pictures be moved there or will lspdfr just serve as a redirect page for the mod?
  9. God i hope this happens. reminds me of the first time i played la noire. it is possible though. with all the intieriors in blaine county and the new and improved game mechanics. the skys the limit when it comes to lspdfr gameplay. By the way sam, i remember reading a forum about this a long time ago, but how do you feel about detective work in lspdfr?
  10. sam, i am looking at this the way i look at a triple cheese wrapped burrito before my lunch break. Thank you for your hard work! and for making me hungry...
  11. that was the key binding for it? wow all this time playing lcpdfr and i thought m just had to do with spawning "lets go kill more people than we save" ambulances
  12. This is a great idea and it also makes me wonder, since gta v has a bigger focus on law enforcement than gta iv did, should there be an option where, for example, if im an lspd officer responding to a man with a knife and i need support. can i call a bunch of high ranking officers in a police transporter as backup versus noose? the idea of being able to play as and call backup for specific units designed for specific calls would really make the mod 1000 times better. but the million dollar question is, is it all possible?
  13. true. one person's terrorist is another person's freedom fighter. but has there been a way to prevent someone from being a martyr throughout history?
  14. im really sorry if im bumping this thread. but i just saw this and i actually live two blocks away from the explosion. we're actually still recovering from it. i was surprised at the amount of time it took for the investigation and cleanup to be final. just like 9/11 smoke and disaster was everywhere. gave me instant memories. Pets got lost, people got hurt, businesses closed for weeks and ignorant people were taking selfies in front of smashed cop cars. it felt like our neighborhood had died and turned into some sort of war zone. even now. the neighborhood is still having trouble with gas situations and people taking more gas than they should, resulting in a shutdown. its all so depressing. but at least its over. the last thing i need while getting milk, cookies, and cat food at 6:00 am is constant smoke, evacuated areas and firetrucks i never knew existed all over the place.
  15. I agree. also part of me feels like even the nastiest people in the world don't deserve to die. not only is it too good for them but i feel like it sends the people a message that death is a way to get rid of people who hurt us. i would rather him be tortured in a way that is relevant to what he did to other people. that way he feels the same amount of pain equivalent to someone performing CPR on the person next to them while a fragmented piece of metal is jabbed in their left leg.
  16. I've been reading this forum for a while now and i was wondering, what was lcpdfr like when it first came out on gta 4? i first created an account during .98 but i never really got to see what the experience was like when both els and lcpdfr were in their early versions. and another question is, are you guys basing lspdfr off of 1.0 or are you guys going to play it safe and minimize the mod mechanics until you figure more out?
  17. For patrol 10/10 of the vehicles have steel rims. But for unmarked vehicles 9/10 of the times you will see hubcaps
  18. For marked vehicles in Manhattan I see ford crown vics, Chevrolet impalas, ford e-series, and some ford fusions. The ford e-series are most common near schools because of the school safety unit within the nypd. Otherwise you might see them on patrol. For unmarked vehicles in Manhattan I will usually see Chevrolet impalas, ford crown vics and the nypd taxi even though the nypd has a lot more than that at the precincts. When i go to Brooklyn i will usually see marked ford crown vics and impalas here and there but not as much as Manhattan. I have only seen one unmarked car in Brooklyn so far and it was an impala. I only have data for Brooklyn and Manhattan though. anyway, i hope this helps.
