  1. how many plugins are for ragehook right now? i couldn't find any.
  2. yea. also, on your controller you can gently push the right stick forward in fp and you can walk that way.
  3. i don't think its a troll. they do this every year or so. but if it is people will get overly emotional and the forums will be 500 times worse than they are now.
  4. thats true. i expected server crashes within the last 2 hours of the countdown. at least we arent dealing with that .......yet
  5. damn people are replying every 5 seconds. i guess the hype train is at warp speed right now.
  6. done. https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/simple-police-searchlight
  7. EXACTLY. with the hint cards. the people looking at the website code and talking about something along the lines of locking themselves up while the whole website of lcpdfr blew up. ah the nostalgia of when people laughed with each other instead of arguing about who started the overly dramatic hype and who dident.
  8. This completely reminds me of how everyone was hyped during the holidays when 1.0 came out by surprise with only a few hints to go by.
  9. Its as if sam just said " attention passengers, due to website randomness and coding efficiency the hype train is now going 500 miles per hour. please buckle up your imaginary seatbelts".
  10. at first i though this was another Photoshop troll. then i scrolled up....
  11. probably. LCPDFR had traffic stops in GTA IV even if you changed the map to vice city or san andreas.
  12. well so much for people not telling other people to calm down :P Personally i think that its really okay to be hyped because that means lspdfr is going to be a popular mod. i mean, who needs advertising when you have thousands of people talking about something you made in a month. i personally would think that's pretty flattering. but i guess that's just me :\
  13. in the last forum update there were a lot of people telling others to calm down. its not so much now because as ineseri said we've been burning down the forums with the hype. i also agree with you about the forum thing.
  14. well i guess this thread is almost finished since everybody has moved to the one about lspdfr features :p
  15. I feel like at this point in time even the people who were like "calm down everybody" are super hyped about this.
  16. its fine moncool. even the best buy fix it guys were confused about the program at first :P. Im sorry if that post looked like another troll boasting about a product nobody has. i just loved the interface and made the semi- stupid decision to immediately download windows 10 as soon as i could. but anyway, back on topic.... True. i recently installed EFLC, put lcpdfr on it and installed a bunch of 1980s nypd cars and regardless of the constant crashes every 20 minutes and the annoyance of waiting for the game to load up, i say im pretty well entertained until lspdfr comes out. but it seriously makes me think how far lcpdfr has come. i mean, lspdfr looks so fluid and streamlined compared to lcpdfr. i just hope rockstar doesent keep changing hashes with updates regardless of whether they meant to deplete mods or not.
  17. wow....ok.....can you explain yourself as to what i am "lying" about?
  18. Im actually on windows 10 and gta v works just as fine as windows 8. i think the update that really mattered was the update from windows 7 to 8 because there was a lot of behind the scenes work done on that. correct me if im wrong but i think now its just stability,an updated UI, and new programs. i say get it only if you know your way around windows. there are still a lot of bugs that need fixing and the only way to fix them right now is to come up with temporary solutions. its still pretty cool though.
  19. One time during lcpdfr 98 days (as if it was a really long time ago.) me and my friend really wanted to start a project where we make a fake nypd car out of old fabricated steel and wood, get the shell casing of a whelen light bar, a siren controller, and a police scanner and map it all out in lcpdfr for ultra immersive game play. Turned out to go in the way-too-ambitious-to-ever-be-done category. but this might just work for me.
  20. i think, you might be able to add any vehicle in lspdfr as long lspdfr supports that type of vehicle. at least, that's what lcpdfr 1.0 did with helicopters. i might be wrong though.
  21. personally, i dont really think that this update will break modding or at least not purposely. Rockstar stated that they were a fan of modding themselves as long as it doesent conflict with gta online. however they might update some sort of file system to prevent modding online and it might break single payer modding that way. either way there will probably be a fix on gtaforums.com. theres always some savior who uploads the last patch from the game that supports mods.
  22. this happens to me alot. on the last forum about this my heavy breathing cat meme vanished for some reason.
  23. true. sometimes only sam can answer the worlds toughest questions. but im just glad that rockstar even put a taser in the game. it makes me feel like they actually support the lcpdfr team.
  24. Probably because since it wasent a big feature in the game, the taser is treated like an actual pistol. ie: people run from it at high radius's and its more lethal than it should be. well sometimes if you tase someone they would just get back up and run. im pretty sure that it probably wouldn't be the case in lspdfr though.
  25. yea i agree. the current police vehicles are great but people are going to want to change them up eventually. even if its just to experiment and see what its like to have different lightbars or more realistic cars. it doesent by any means mean the current vehicles are bad. they are pretty much the best variety of any gta game plus the lights are much more realistic. but since i have a special place for the nypd in my heart. i would like to put the vision sl on a patrol car and see how it works out. i hope so. it was really awesome to not have to press keys while chasing after a perp. then again its probably gonna happen even if not in the first build.
