I fixed my game by unplugging my controller and other attachments for my computer that were plugged into usb ports while the game was loading. The new game version seemed to conflict with the controller. You can plug in the controller once the game starts all the way.

I figured out the problem. For some reason GTA was rejecting my usb attached controller. When I unplugged it, GTA launched. Super weird and never had this happen before. But this is resolved.

Hello, I am stuck trying to get lspdfr/gta 5 to launch with ragehook after the latest update. I updated to the newest version of gta, installed the newest versions of lspdfr, rph and els but the game is crashing during the startup loading screen. I disabled my mods folder, and the same issue is happening. I thought it might be connected to my mods folder inside of openIV but that doesn't seem to be the case. Below is what is said in the crash log. I can't seem to figure out how to get it uploaded into a file that it allows me to upload. I also attached a video of the crash occurring. Did you re-install ELS when you installed the advanced hook? I only installed the advanced hook and wondering if that's my issue. I have a few mods in my mods folder that also might be causing it (blaine county traffic lights). I might try to redo my whole mod folder this week if I have time. Ugh, this is frustrating. I'll let you know if I figure it out without having to reinstall everything.

Where do you remove ssla for singleplayer? I haven't been able to get my game to load and think this might be the reason. I cannot find where this is in any of the ini files though. Once the game starts to load, it crashed before I spawn on the map.

Hello, I am seeking some assistance with identifying what is causing my game to crash on start up. I have updated GTA.exe, ragehook, scripthook, and LSPDFR. The loading screen does load and shows each mod loading but will crash before it drops me into the game. I attached a copy of the latest crash report. I cannot seem to find the cause of the crash. Any guidance/assistance is greatly appreciated. I will venmo whoever can help for a 6 pack of beer haha. Crash.txt

Has anyone had the problem where certain peds will glitch out when enabling code 3 lights with ELS on your vehicle? An example is the prostitute peds. Whenever I am pulling a car over near these specific types of peds, the peds glitch out. This is also occurring when peds try to run when DUI checking, searching, or attempting to place in handcuffs while using Stop the Ped. The ped being stopped will glitch out instead of actually fleeing. Has anyone experienced this issue and/or knows how to correct it? Thank you!

Not sure this is the same issue, but for texture loss, make sure this setting is set this way in the lspdfr.ini, inside of the lspdfr folder on the game directory: Main.PreloadAllModels = false Normally this is set to true by lspdfr download.

Thanks @Charlie686 yes, I removed that mod and updated another field in the lspdfr.ini and that seemed to fix the issue. Thank you!

@OfficerChris1 Thank you so much. That worked. Switching the Main.disablegamebliphiding to true removed the beeping sound but still crashed initially. I fully removed the clear the way mod and it's working now. I am in a rental apartment and not at my normal set up so wondering if the wifi is probably not the greatest, even though the download speed is surprisingly good with 72mb a second. Thank you again though, wish I could buy you a beer. Cheers

When loading rage hook, the game will load for about 3 seconds before the screen freezes and a few loud beeps go off and then the game crashes. I have updated my mods folder, changed it to _mods so that it was disabled but the crash is still happening when loading up ragehook. I haven't added any new mods and it was working without issue on 7/7/23. I attached my most recent log. Has anyone had this happen/know what needs to be fixed? RagePluginHook_10072023_144825.log

I'm having the exact same issue. Same thing happened to me after the last update and I had to reinstall all of my mods from scratch. It was a pain. Hoping an answer is provided. The game legit loads all the way up, loads my mods but as soon as I move my character, a bunch of loud beeps go off and the game immediately closes without a crash log populating.

Update: It's not only crashing on duty. It's also crashing when I reloadallplugins in the console.

Hello, I recently updated LSPDFR to the newest version. All my plugins seem to be functioning correctly and my weapons/vehicles/els are all operating normally. I have run into an issue with going on duty that I am stumped on. Once I go on duty, get into the patrol car and begin to drive, after about 15-20 seconds, a beeping noise is heard and then the game crashes. No error logs or anything display; the game simply closes back to the desktop. Has anyone run into this glitch before and knows how to fix it? This video demonstrates the problem occurring. The error occurs around 45 seconds into the video. Apologies that it is hard to hear my voice. If anyone has any insight as to what might be causing/how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.
