Here’s my second video, which is the recording of my first livestream. The commentary is in Russian.
  2. Well, the procedure is following: get close enough (about 2 meters/yards), hold a suspect at the gunpoint, hold down the “context action” button (default E on a keyboard or Right D-pad on a controller). You’ll see a red progress bar filling up in the bottom right corner. How fast it fills depends on the state of the suspect, e.g. if they’re just running from you, it’ll be slower, if they fell or if you tased them, it will fill up almost instantly. After the bar filling up, continue to hold the suspect on the gunpoint, they will rise their hands and then lay on the stomach. Approach them and, when prompted, hold down the “context action” key to cuff them. Now they are under arrest and will follow you, you can drive them to station or call a transport unit. The only thing I’d call essential of the vehicle/uniform mods is the EUP, everything else is for you to chose. If you want to dive deep into the lights and sirens mastery, get the ELS, I don’t use it since the embedded GTA V emergency lighting does the job. Talking of scripts, I’d suggest: Traffic Policer, Arrest Manager and Police Radio (without those I’d say you can’t do anything useful), LSPDFR+ (gives you a much more in-depth experience), Better EMS (I’d say not “better” but “finally making sense EMS”), Computer+ (not essential, just extremely handy and very pretty), and Automatic Roadblocks (there’re some roadblock mods around, but this one actually works like “engage and forget”, you don’t need to lose your focus during a pursuit, while Dispatch does their job establishing the roadblocks). Also, I like the Search Warrant, but sadly it’s very poorly integrated with the callouts so far. As for the callouts, the choice is up to you, just like with a vehicles. Find what fits your style, read the reviews and try out. And, most importantly, have fun.
  3. LSPDFR actually uses another approach, allowing other developers to implement the features that they see fit. If you want to frisk and search, I recommend you the Search Warrant script. It actually can interact with some other callouts.
  4. Russian laws? Forget it. There’re no such thing as law, criminal or civil justice and police in Russia. There’re institutions that carry the corresponding names, but they don’t work as anything close to what they should be.

Hello everyone. The others’ patrol videos and the situations I got into during my time on duty inspired me to start my own series. I plan to cover the job of the various agencies, especially the investigative one. I can’t say I really love a lot of action, so my videos could be not very entertaining for everyone, but I’ll do my best to improve. Any suggestions, any critics, any ideas will be heard. This is my first step into the gaming videos world, so I have a lot to learn. For the first time I won’t be using any ELS vehicles, since using it for me require the complete keybindings overhaul, which is in progress; also there’re not so many authentic ELS-enabled vehicle models yet. I also feel obliged to warn you that the English language isn’t my first language, so there could be pronunciation problems or misuse of words. I’m sorry if it would make you uncomfortable in any way, I’m doing anything I can to improve to. I just don’t have many practice, since I still live in Russia. So here’s my pilot episode, hope you’ll find it interesting.

  8. Nothing really big, actually. Windows 10 Home 64-bit Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3 Intel Core i5 4570 @ 3.20GHz Kingston HyperX 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (9-9-9-27) (2*4GB) Palit GeForce GTX 760 2GB VDDR5 WD Black HDD 1TB I’m thinking about upgrading to GTX 1060 6GB and a top-level i5, like i5-4690K, also adding some memory, e.g. 2*8GB.
  9. Sounds big, good luck with the job. Just be sure to be on agreement with the good people who created the mod. It would be the best if you will release that as an addon for RDE, I guess, converting it to the thing you want.
  10. Try to update your Script Hook V from there http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/. Also it may be the permissions issue, try to run your gtav.exe or ragepluginhook.exe with the Administrator rights. Quoting the description, I use and recommend this one:
  11. Hello guys. Could anyone suggest a useful keyboard layout to use with the ELS? It feels like I have like 4/5 of the keyboard used by the mods and it’s almost impossible to find anything that wouldn’t interfere with the other mods and LSPDFR plugins.
  12. Imagine the LSPDFR possibilities... Finally actual Alderney state patrol, separate from the LCPD; callouts to protect Civilization plaza from international terrorists, mafia busts... I know it’ll take time, but I'm really excited.
  13. @Albo1125 Hello. I noticed that with the recent updates your addons began to show the “successfully loaded” notification after the “forceduty” command twice, mostly Traffic Policer and Arrest Manager. Should I worry because plugins load twice or reload after a crash or something like that, or is it just a minor notification glitch? Here’s my RPH log, if it can be of any help.
As others mentioned, it’s a kind of a game itself. The deepest emergency signaling simulation I’ve seen in the games. Even the default keyboard assignments make sense and easy to remember and operate. But, there’s a thing I dare to call a downside. If the LSPDFR for you is more about patrolling and simulating the policing, don’t install it yet. First, at the moment (2017-01-01) there’re much more non-ELS models, that are closer to this world counterparts (since R* did some real job on emergency lighting and modelers used it). Also, the ELS uses a ton of keys for controls, and if you have a developed LSPDFR setup, you’ll have do a helluva work remapping and unassigning them just to be able to play LSPDFR without constantly cancelling unwanted actions and closing unwanted menus. I’d suggest the developers to add the hands-free-like mode that will leave only essential keys enabled — like “change the lighting stage” and “hands-free siren control”, or something like that. In normal patrols you don’t need most of the ELS functions, but you need to be able to quickly go Code-3 or sound a Yelp tone. Also, the key to reset your actions to vehicle’s default config would be useful. Happy 2017, by the way. As a matter of fact, this review is the first useful thing I did in the new year
  14. Actually, the R*’s servers seem to be under attack as well. The support website fails to load articles occasionally, I had R*SC sign in problems, and the PC GTAO server is down.
  15. Why, do you have any issues? LSPDFR and RDE use a different script hooking libraries and shouldn’t interfere with each other in any way.
  16. No, if you install EUP after RDE, they’ll work together perfectly.
  17. It works now, thanks for the fast response :)
  18. No, I didn’t install any additional. I’ll give it a go now, thanks.
  19. Hi. I noticed an annoying bug, that wasn’t here before installing the RDE (everything worked nicely with the same mods, even with one additional). GTA V keeps crushing when manually loading the save file from the menu. It happens with any save file, be it a vanilla game autosave or the same save file I just started the game with. The initial loading (after starting the V) goes as it should. SixStarResponse.log RPH crash report
  20. Thank you so much for the update, it’s one of the best Christmas presents for me. Keep up the good work, and have a good Holydays.
  21. Returning after more than a year... And seeing this beauty. I guess that’s the best thing happened with me in a months.
