  1. Do you see this as bad - leveraging an LLM that has library recall at a level that’s faster than combing through documentation to use a wrapper instead of raw hex code from gta v’s engine? I mean that’s what your ragepluginhook does and then you just assign it a name and then provide the documentation. You read 0x7 etc then rename it once you see it deals with say health of player or shooting a gun etc. If I could write every line of code but it takes me 3 months whereas, an LLM that I can leverage takes me 3 days you’re saying out of ethics just write it or I’m lazy? I’m not saying you are explicitly saying this - I’m inferring. Thanks! I like what you’ve built and I know how it works. Which is why an LLM is perfect because I know that there is documentation for the verbiage to use in files. The documentation is the translator for the hex code you “deciphered” from gta v’s engine by hooking and sniffing (hacking). So when I saw this I thought hmm what’s the message here? Write every line of code for “ethics” or is it to prove who has the ability to actually code? I’m not looking to argue or debate just clarity. Thanks! I guess what I’m saying is it causes a misconception for those who can code who like the rapid building and not writing every single line that gets repetitive. Like directives for c# why do I need to write out using system.windows.forms on every single file that I write that may be I have 10 files in one project? And the misconception is that some non developer (I dislike this word - developer) thinks well he cheated but you kind of have to know the structure to get something to work. Else you get unintended behavior from game or a CTD every single time.

A Mod that lets you detain vehicles for investigations. Can be done anywhere. Who hasn’t wanted to do DUI/ Wanted Checkpoints? Installation: Scripthookv by alexander blade drop in main GTA V Folder ScriptHookVDotNet google Nightly build drop in main GTA V Folder Drag scripts folder drop into main GTA V Folder Setup your Checkpoint I would choose a two lane road so its easier on traffic flow. Press period key to activate, once activated you can use the period key to detain a car. I use traffic policer 2025 so I don't have to get them out of the vehicle and press Left shift + O as in Oscar to do breathlyzer, I press Left Control + O to use druglyzer. If good use K key to release them. If not, use PR or STP to arrest them and search them. You could release them first and then use PR and STP to get them out of the vehicle so the animation is cleaner instead of them warping out of the vehicle. Either way, Always release the car even if you arrest them so the tow truck can take the car. Press end key to close the script. Watch the tutorial video below:
  2. Sorry everyone not sure what the issue is. The mod is still waiting for approval. @SuperPyroManiac @Gan Ceann any idea when it would be? Just curious thanks!
  3. I’ve considered adding a crime lab but interiors are my least favorite thing to do and animating peds lol
  4. Waiting for new update to be approved but the readme has everything you need to know. New update waiting for approval should be good to go now. Make sure you watch the showcase video and view the readme.
  5. I haven’t put it in yet because I’m still working on it. But maybe tonight. I’ll tag you when it’s up.
  6. Did you by chance check version of ScriptHookV? I’d just redownload ScriptHookV even if it’s the current version. Also, check for DetectiveMode.dll inside scripts folder. Ever since the new update from gta v and Microsoft there’s been a lot of issues.
  7. Yeah every time i update i forget to do that. I’ll try and get to it tonight. Do you have the old file on your computer? You could copy and paste the old ini into your scripts folder and see if that works until I get to it. If it does awesome if not I will get to it as soon as I can. Consider donating please so I can keep building mods. Even a dollar helps. And I’m open to reasonable suggestions. Thanks! You could drive them there and then use police rp menu once it’s uploaded.
  8. You can pick them up and drive them there. And then use Narrative Overlay once I finish and upload it. Maybe one day a dev whose niche is interiors will make an interrogation room. I downloaded it from the site and it worked. Make sure you have all the requirements which are given in the readme
  9. This is another mod I’m currently working on so it’s not up yet. I have a few things I’m still working on with it. But I plan on uploading it soon just working a lot more and getting home late I’m barely able to get the updates out.
  10. I like this a lot more than STP and UB but how do you write citations? I like this a lot more than STP and UB but how do you write citations?
  11. I’m glad to hear that brother!
  12. I just downloaded the exact file from the site and replaced my master scripts file with version 2.2.0 and it’s working. So either you are missing a dependency or your computer is flagging it.
  13. have you also updated the RageNativeUI.dll that sits above RagePluginHook.exe? Also, did you exclude your GTA V root directory in your windows defender? I am literally pouring over every option. I'm working on the new update right now and should have it up tonight. Once its up download the newest ADM-R Ambient Detective Mode - Revamped version and let me know if it resolves the issues you are having.
  14. I'm working on it now. Will you try F7 just to see if it got remapped? If not, I will continue to dig around. I've been playing on it all day so I'm not sure why it won't work for you. I know I have the master file but it doesn't make sense. One other thing, if you go into the vanilla game of GTA V story mode - the actual game (Not Ragepluginhook) does it have notifications above the map?
  15. After the new GTA V update, I deleted my ScripthookV and ScriptHookVDotNet and even though they were the same version I just re-downloaded them and it worked for me. I also deleted my NativeUI and re-downloaded it too. Try all of those and I will continue to look into the issue. I am doing that now and I won't stop until I figure out why its doing that. DM me from this point on its easier to track conversations.
  16. Just to clarify, when you press F3 nothing happens? The menu doesn’t pop-up?
  17. I just seen this after I uploaded it. Maybe in the next update. Let me know please if current .ini lets you change those three keys.
  18. I apologize for that. I was going to add more options but decided not to and forgot to re-write the existing three. I'll do that for you now and re-upload.
  19. I’m currently making Ambient Detective Modes own MDT. I’ll check it out. Thank you for telling me.
  20. I will look into this for you. Give me some time and I’ll keep you updated. I apologize it’s not multilingual.
