  2. Can't wait for the brush truck to be released...you'll definitely get a download from me. It looks great!
  3. Cool beans...this is based off of my local sheriff's office scheme. http://policecarwebsite.net/fc/cof/cars/johnson103.jpg
  4. Looks great. I'm definitely downloading it once it gets released.
  5. I'll also suggest using Traffic Control System. IMO, it goes a bit easier on your PC, and usually doesn't cause major texture lag issues, just minor texture blurs from time to time for me. Here it is if you want to download it. http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1409
  6. I was able to dig these up. Washington State Patrol (complete model) Spokane County Sheriff Spokane Police ) If you decide to start using Chargers and Impalas then here's a Spokane PD pack including skins for those three models.
  7. I bought my copy from eBay. Though, be a bit suspicious if the seller is either outside the US or has some bad feedback, if you do decide to get a copy off of eBay. Also, buy new if you can.
  8. You can try this pack. http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1620 However, it looks like the Crown Vic seen in the preview screenshot is one of Schaeft's models.
  9. Pictures would be nice...
  10. For my game I use Schaeft's Crown Vic and the Tahoe by Alex/KevinDV/CJ24.
  11. Did you check the tutorials section?
  12. Who remembers that game The Getaway? It started off with a cutscene of a mom and her son getting ready to leave their London apartment, but some kidnappers (who were after the mom, but shot her dead when she resisted) took the kid, and the dad just happened to hear the whole confrontation from upstairs and ran out and pulled someone out of their Alfa Romeo and chased them. If I remember correctly, the kid never appeared in the actual world, only cutscenes. However, references were made to the kid vocally, as when the bad guy was explaining to the dad what he had to do to get his son back: If Rockstar were to put kids in their games (which I don't see them doing considering what just happened at Sandy Hook), it would just be limited to cutscenes, and maybe vocal references.
  13. You'll need SparkIV to do this. 1. With SparkIV, open the vehicles.img file in the pc/models/cdimages folder of your game directory. 2. Now find the .wtd file of the CV. For example, if you replaced it with the Police Cruiser (Crown Vic-based generic model), it will be police.wtd. Click it, and click "Edit". 3. Once that's done, a new window will open with a list of all of the texture files. You'll need to find one that reads something like "police_sign_x", where x represents a number 1-4. 4. After you've found it, click "Import Texture", and then locate the texture on your computer. 5. After that's done, click "Save and Close". The texture window will close. 6. Now, click "Save", then "Rebuild", and then close the program.
  14. A police version of the Ford F150 SVT Raptor would be awesome.
  15. Well, since the F250 was brought up, I'd choose the first-gen F250 over both the F150 and Silverado. But, like I said before, F150 Raptor>everything else.
  16. I edited the trim.png and made it transparent, and it didn't work. In fact, looking at the trim.png for the OPP's .wtd file, it's black too.
  17. Does anyone know what is responsible for the black bumper trim on some CVPI's? For example, this is what I'm talking about. The left is this Ontario Provincial Police CVPI with lonestranger's RCMP skin applied, and the right is this Sacramento PD CVPI applied with a Mesquite PD skin I found in a San Andreas thread over on GPM. Both skins have an all white background, and I'm assuming it's something to do with the model. Could somebody point me in the right direction?
  18. lonestranger did a stealth OPP CVPI skin. With this zip file, you get both the regular OPP skin and the stealth OPP skin. http://www.mediafire.com/?u3apnwyi9a3yvpu
  19. Good skin, however the B-pillar is not supposed to be black and there aren't any license plates.
  20. I'll be trying this tomorrow.
  21. Can't you read the mod description or the comment two posts above yours?
