  1. Over the past couple of days I basically re-installed everything from scratch. So I dod GTA... Played that for a couple of hours... it was 100% Stable. Then added LCPDFR... played that for a couple of hours... Nice and stable. Added the Police PDA helper script... thats a fun little mod. That worked well. Installed ELS 6 and uploaded 1 police car...Dodge Charger NYPD Highway Patrol car... and that works... but I still have the camera angle issue. I replaced back to the OEM police car and the camera angle is fine. I tried uploading a variety of different cars... one at a time... and every custom uploaded car has the camera angle issue. I saw on another forum someone else was saying they had the same issues. I will switch to ELS V5 and see how that works. :( Thanks for all the replied. NYCMedic
  2. I put the 2 new police cars in the Police and Police2 spots. They both do the same thing. Camera is lowered. I did notice that inside view on one of them is not good at all. Looking for the other police car to steal and try. I was reading that the taxi issue is from High Poly cars. is adding 2 new cars that high in poly to cause it or is it a known bug? NYCMedic
  3. Ok I installed in this order: LCPDFR ELS NYPD 2010 Crown Vic ELS - Police NYPD Charger Highway ELS - Police2 Loaded up and see only Taxi's and Pollice cars. Turned on LCPDFR and went on duty... was able to see the new police cars. Got in turned on the lights with ELS and all that works. No difference in performance from what I can see. Just loads of Taxi cabs. Also noticed that the camera heigh when looking from behind the car... the camera height has lowered so I cant see what is in front of the car. When I go into a taxi or parked vehicle I see it with a higher camera angle so I can see. Is this a bug or can it be corrected? Thanks!
  4. Appreciate the reply. I was watching some videos of LCPDFR and I see some users use all the little add-ons like towing etc. But they sometimes seem buggy or just a waste of time I guess. So I will stick with the basics for now. So far with the re-install of LCPDFR I did not notice the taxi or same care bug. But Im about to install ELS so we'll see. (fingers crossed) :) NYCMedic
  5. Ahhh ok. I saw on youtube videos drug deals shoot outs etc. I guess its the other script. I will try installing that next. Again thanks for your help. NYCMedic
  6. Ok just loaded LCPDFR and playing a little bit testing it out. It seems I am only getting Domestic Disturbances, Muggings and Suicide Calls. Is it because of the area I am in? NYCMedic
  7. Greetings, I have the Corsair K90 Gaming Keyboard. Wondering if anyone has it and if you were able to assign GTA game specific shortcuts to the 18 customizable macro keys and if so how did you do it? Im trying and trying and it does not appear to work for me. Any helps would be greatly appreciated. NYCMedic
  8. Gotcha. I will give it a try in a little bit. Thanks again for the replies. NYCMedic
  9. I'm only interested in doing the LCPDFR... no fire or medic scripts I dont think. See enough of that at work. So you suggest LCPDFR first, then maybe a environment enhancer and ELS? Thanks for your reply NYCMedic
  10. Thank you!! This post is helpful for a newbe to LCPDFR and mods in general. NYCMedic
  11. Thanks for posting this. I will have to stay clear of the solid traffic light mod... even though I thought that would be pretty cool things fall too easy in GTA.. and figured it would be better if they were stationary. Oh well. Cant have everything. :) Glad you figured out the problem. NYCMedic
  12. Thanks... Any suggestion as to what I should install first or in what order to avoid bugs and such?
  13. Greetings everyone. I received some extra cash and put together a system... recently built it and GTA iV seems to work well. Initially I had some issues and after testing found out I had a bad graphics card... but now GTA is stable and can run for hours with no issue on totally maxed out settings. But now Im concerned with loading mods and having issues. So wondering if anyone has a similar system or set-up and can tell me the best way, sequence etc to load mods. First here is my system specs: Processor: Intel i5-3570 Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V LK RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance Blue 1600 CPU Cooler: Corsair H800i Graphic Card: Gigabyte GTX 670 OC with 2GB Power Supply: Corsair HX-850 Data Storage: Both SSD & Mechanical HDs Case: Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 I know my cooler is a bit overkill... but I originally was going to get the i7-3770 but for $100 less there's not much difference in processor performance as far as gaming so I got the i5 instead and rather then re-researching the coolers just kept the one I originally ordered. It actually keeps the processor pretty cool. And with the Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 case with all the fans etc... my overall system is pretty cool. Had to swap out the default color shift fans for Cooler Master fans which are really quiet. So there's my system. So now that I got everything working and GTA IV (Steam) ... how do I get to play LCPDFR with ELS and replacing the games generic cars with ELS compatible cars? I tried doing it and I get tons of taxis all over the place... and in different parts of the city I will get all one generic car type. I see videos on youtube with nicely mixed traffic. Thats what I want. I would also like to run mods that make the game look realistic and some of the other fun police mods like Towing and other things i see on the many youtube videos I have seen in the past 2 years. Any suggestions as to how to go about installing these without getting crazy bugs making me have to re-inslall again and again? Thank you all for your help. NYCMedic
