    • Version 1.0.0
⚠️ IMPORTANT — READ FIRST These files are configuration prompts for DoubleHook's NPCAI (NPCI 3.0), the Gemini-AI-powered version of NPCI available exclusively through his Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/cw/Doublehook These files DO NOT work with the free NPCI 2.1 hosted here on LCPDFR. That version uses Microsoft Speech Platform with scripted phrases and does not use AI prompt files. You must have NPCAI installed from DoubleHook's Patreon for these files to do anything. Compatible with BOTH NPCAI variants — Policing Redefined and StopThePed since they share the same NPCIXML folder. ──────────────────────────────────────── WHAT'S IN THIS PACK Three files that drop into your NPCAI installation at: Grand Theft Auto V/plugins/LSPDFR/NPCIXML/ - NPCI_GeminiPrompt.txt — enhanced civilian NPC prompt (369 lines vs DoubleHook's stock 63 lines) - NPCI_EmergencyPrompt.txt — fellow first-responder prompt - NPCI_VoiceStyles.ini — expanded voice archetype file (55 archetypes vs stock 48) ──────────────────────────────────────── WHAT'S NEW VS STOCK NPCAI CIVILIAN PROMPT — adds entire sections that stock doesn't have: - Core Behavioral Framework — mandatory thinking process, anti-clueless enforcement, first-response awareness rule - Officer Factual Authority with bluff/witness nuance — NPCs accept what the officer directly witnessed but can deny or stay silent on things the officer is fishing on - Anti-loop rule — NPCs can't repeat the same excuse forever - Gradual progression — denial → excuses → minimization → partial admit → fuller explanation - Traffic Stop Intelligence — varied realistic violations instead of defaulting to "speeding" - Callout / Scene Awareness — role system (suspect/witness/victim/partially involved) and accountability system - Full 3-part Vocal Anchor / Pitch Control — fixes the high-pitched whisper drift during violent arrests by restricting text patterns the TTS engine reads as pitch triggers (multi-exclamation, ALL CAPS, stuttering dashes, repeated pleading, fear-coded phrasing, crying onomatopoeia). Stock has only a 1-line pitch rule. - Human Response Variation — "don't default to polite," avoid robotic chatbot phrases - Investigation & Scope — NPCs don't volunteer unrelated crimes, handle non-criminal items naturally - World Realism — real GTA V locations and vehicles only, no invented street names or fake car models - Medical & Neurodivergence (1-in-20 chance) — mental health conditions, allergies, physical disabilities appear naturally without being a free pass on accountability - Age-Appropriate Speech — children, teens, adults, elderly use distinct vocabulary - Veteran Context — military background recognition between NPCs and officers - Situational & Occupational Awareness — environmental cues, occupation-aware roleplay - Personal Context & Backstory — NPCs invent grounded family/work/hobby details consistent within a conversation - Civilian Role Boundaries — NPCs don't try to flip into cop-roleplay EMERGENCY PROMPT — first-responder roleplay (firefighters, medics, deputies, rangers, etc.) - Role lock from player address — "Hello Deputy," "Hey Ranger," "Hello Coroner," "Hey EMT" etc. locks the NPC into that exact role - Full stay in your lane rules for Deputy, Officer, Trooper, Ranger, Warden, Forensics/CSI, EMT, Medic, Coroner, Humane Officer, Gang Unit, Arson Investigator - Jurisdiction geography — LSPD/LSSD/SAHP/LSFD know their actual turf and don't claim wrong jurisdiction - Rank rolls per agency with player-rank override VOICE STYLES - Added archetypes: veteran, nurse, mechanic, chef, teacher, religious, college_student - Polished and expanded all stock archetype descriptions - Reworked [homeless] and [sex_worker] to vary across encounters instead of one-note stereotype All three files stay well under Gemini's prompt-length safe zone per DoubleHook's guidance. ──────────────────────────────────────── INSTALLATION The archive uses the same folder structure as DoubleHook's NPCAI install (Grand Theft Auto V/plugins/LSPDFR/NPCIXML/), so it just merges and overwrites. 1. Make sure NPCAI is installed from DoubleHook's Patreon and working with your Gemini API key. 2. Open the archive and you'll see a "Grand Theft Auto V" folder inside. 3. Drag the plugins folder from the .rar into your GTA V root and let it merge / overwrite when prompted. The three prompt files inside NPCIXML will overwrite your existing ones. 4. (Optional but recommended) Back up your existing NPCI_GeminiPrompt.txt, NPCI_EmergencyPrompt.txt, and NPCI_VoiceStyles.ini first so you can roll back if you don't like the changes. ──────────────────────────────────────── AI DISCLOSURE These prompts were drafted and iterated with assistance from Anthropic's Claude AI across multiple sessions, then reviewed, tested, and finalized by me before release. See the AI Disclosure section below. ──────────────────────────────────────── CREDITS - DoubleHook — creator of NPCI / NPCAI. None of this exists without him. Support his work: https://www.patreon.com/cw/Doublehook - Community contributors — several community members whose published prompt variants informed specific improvements (bluff/witness nuance, anti-loop rule, world realism, demeanor variation) - Anthropic's Claude — AI assistance during drafting and refinement (see AI Disclosure)
  5. First let me say.. this mod is fantastic. You did a truly incredible job on it! I know you said there are updates coming and I see the comment right above mine.. that is what I was coming here to say.. Biggest problem I have is when I am trying to type in CAD every single time I am trying to look up a plate, a persons name, type, etc. it is non stop triggering keybinds for other things.. like G for Policing redefined, etc. So what I gather from your above comment @DeSepticOasis is the only work around/solution currently is to use the paused game setting/version? Any ETA on next update by chance?

  14. EmergencyLightingResponseStatus.zip Here, I just put my old one into a zip here for y'all because it works for me (I did not download your most recent version since this works perfectly fine on my end). Just drag the plugins folder into your game I already put the folders/file names exactly how they need to be etc. Hope that helps anyone/everyone. @JM Modifications I did this because I think what people are having issues with is @TimmyLuke017 Gaming has released several variations of this and for some reason has renamed it like.. several times.. and honestly the whole dll got screwed up and folder/file names are all screwed up and make no sense now.. so it is not working for many people. The folder that goes in plugins should be named EmergencyLightingResponseStatus The dll that goes in the plugins folder should be named Realistic Lightbar Status Audio Inside of the EmergencyLightingResponseStatus folder should be 3 files: beep.wav detected_models.log EmergencyLightingResponseStatus.ini Hope that clarifies why I just put my zip file.. because it is hecka confusing with conflicting/different names, files not being in the right folder/sections, etc.
  15. Bug report for the "beep.wav missing" error with most recent update.. The Plugin RAR and the Sound RAR ship inconsistent folder names. Decompiling the DLL strings confirms the plugin is hardcoded to look for assets in a folder named EmergencyLightingResponseStatus, with these specific filenames: EmergencyLightingResponseStatus\ EmergencyLightingResponseStatus.ini beep.wav detected_models.log But the Sound 3.0.1 RAR extracts beep.wav into Plugins\RealisticLightbarResponseStatus\ instead, so the DLL fires the "beep.wav missing" red text on load. Looks like a leftover from when the project was renamed from "Emergency Lighting Response Status" to "Realistic Lightbar Status Audio" — the DLL paths and the README still reference the old name, but the sound pack uses the new one. Workaround for users: move beep.wav into Plugins\EmergencyLightingResponseStatus\ (and use EmergencyLightingResponseStatus.ini for config — that's the one the DLL actually reads). The RealisticLightbarResponseStatus folder can be deleted. Proper fix: repackage the Sound RAR so it drops into EmergencyLightingResponseStatus\, OR rebuild the DLL with the new folder name and update the README to match. Either way the two packages need to agree on one name. Thanks for the plugin! Also.. I recommend to end the confusion once and for good.. just put the dang sound file/folder and main stuff together as 1 zip everyone downloads.. no reason to separate the downloads.

  17. Hey! Wanted to flag something I ran into and what I think might be going on, in case it helps you or others hitting the same wall. Setup: GTA V Legacy, build 1.0.3788.0 (the Apr 9 2026 update), RTAI V2.0, latest SHVDN nightly. Game crashes on world load with EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. RTAI's own log bootstraps cleanly all the way to "Mod bootstrap complete" — your end of things looks healthy. The managed stack trace from the crash report lands here: SHVDN.NativeMemory+Vehicle.GetByteSirenIdOfVehicleModel SHVDN.NativeMemory+Vehicle.HasSiren RealTrafficAI.V2.Beta1.Entities.Vehicles.TrafficVehicleAgent.Update RealTrafficAI.V2.Beta1.Systems.VehicleManager.UpdateAgents My best guess (could be wrong) is that SHVDN's memory pattern for GetByteSirenIdOfVehicleModel hasn't been re-found for the new vehicle struct layout in build 3788, so when RTAI calls HasSiren() on freshly-spawned traffic, it reads bad memory and the game dies. RTAI seems to be the script that exposes it because it polls that path frequently — at default settings, ~96 siren checks/sec across 24 managed vehicles. Other SHVDN scripts in my load order that don't touch siren memory tick fine. Tested with RTAI pulled out of \scripts\ — game boots and runs without issue, so it does seem to be specifically this call path. Not pointing fingers at RTAI at all — the broken piece sounds like it's upstream in SHVDN, and you'd be at the mercy of their next release to fix it properly. But thought I'd mention it in case you're seeing other 3788 reports, and on the off chance a try/catch around the HasSiren call (or a config flag to skip siren checks) might let folks limp through until SHVDN catches up.
  18. For some reason the windows are too tinted and you cannot see the lights through them. I tried changing window tint with simple trainer no luck. Also checked <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" /> and that isnt the issue.. so im not sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. disregard, i just exported the windows dds and edited it. Works fine now.
  19. come here so i can smooch ya real quick. haha thanks dude appreciate you!
  20. I get a "beep.wav" missing error when I load. Anyone else?
  21. you do not need the .pdb file for an LSPDFR plugin to run. The plugin (the .dll file) will work without it. The .pdb file (Program Database file) contains debugging information and is used by developers to: Analyze crash reports with detailed stack traces and line numbers. Debug the plugin if issues arise, by mapping the compiled code back to the source code. Profile performance of the code. For the end-user, the .pdb file isn't necessary for the mod to function; it is generally included by mod developers to help troubleshoot user issues if needed. In the zip is this folder which indicates everything in it just gets dragged into your gta folder. Literally all you do is select these 2 folders, drag and drop them into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V folder and all files automatically get put in exactly where they belong. It is that simple brother.
  22. If anyone wants some more vehicles to throw in the ini: Models=infernus,pigalle,turismor,zentorno,adder,entityxf,cheetah,banshee,comet2,dominator,gauntlet,buffalo2,rapidgt,feltzer2,elegy2,exemplar,felon,schafter2,sultan,fusilade
Works great and looking forward to SJinwoo23 releasing the version with the interior done as well!
  23. Newest update causes crash. Disregard - I'm just a silly goose 🪿. All good :)
