This mod has a lot going for it. The ability to adjust volume of both the dispatcher and the background chatter independently is a huge plus. The live police scanner audio is a great feature, but the included chatter audio is also very good. I personally do not use it for actual dispatch functions, as when I did it had a bit of lag between when a call came up and when the audio played. Even just using for background though, it adds a lot of immersion.
Awesome pack. At first I wasn't sold on the all-blue lighting and so I tried a few other BCSO packs, but the quality of the vehicles brought me back to this one. And now, the all-blue has grown on me and this is my go-to for patrols! The Caprice is probably my favorite - I really like the lighting and the way it drives.
Great addition for realism! There are several similar files out there, and this one is by far the best.
Great vehicle to add some variety to the EMS response. I really like the different variants included, it's perfect for using with UB to have different agencies respond to each area. Lighting looks great as well!
  1. Yes, quite a bit of lag. I did get the chatter to work by turning on the live broadcast feed, letting it buffer, and then turning it back off again.
Definitely adds a ton of realism, and I now consider this a must-have addon for the game. The recent update adding the AI accuracy setting was a big improvement. I really appreciate that SuperPyro's addons get regular updates and keep getting better. My only suggestion on this one would be some kind of recommended settings for the AI accuracy - like what should it be set to for "average" shooting, what is more challenging, etc.
Awesome addon. Works well and really adds to the immersion of this game. Receives regular updates and just gets better and better!
Overall I think this is the best of the STP question expansions out there. I would love to see it get updated though! The COVID questions and answers are a little outdated, and some of the responses just don't seem natural. That said, this is a great addon for STP and I consider it a must-have for the immersion factor.
A small but really solid callout pack. The callouts are fun to play and function very well. I really like the lost freight callout - very impressive that "dispatch" actually shuts down the highway entrances. Recent updates have added a lot and cleaned up the minor issues that existed. I look forward to seeing this package continue to grow and develop!
  2. Seems like this needs an update. Major lag in the dispatch audio coming through from when the dispatch message first pops up on screen/call-out interface. By the time the dispatch is done talking the option to accept is already gone. If I turn off the relay to just have the background chatter, it crashes my game when a call comes through. Really love the concept but too buggy to use consistently right now.
  3. Is there a way to get the background police scanner chatter to work in DLC add-on police vehicles? It works fine in the cars that I've replaced the stock police cars with, but there is no scanner chatter in add-on police cars. Any suggestions???
  4. Whenever I turn on Stage 3 lights only without siren, NPC vehicles in front of me immediately slam on their brakes. According to the ELS instructions vehicles should only yield when the siren is on. I have tried the Traffic Control setting in the .ini file both on and off and no difference. I've tried it with a ton of different cars from different packs, so it's not an issue specific to the car. This is basically making traffic stops unusable, because as soon as I go to light someone up they slam on the brakes right in front of me before I can even blip them. I'm at the point where I'm about to start with a clean install and just not use any ELS vehicles... Any suggestions???
