YakinDaks got a reaction from sinusphi in Does Scene Manager Still Work?As the title says, does the Scene Manager mod still function? I see it’s no longer supported as the author has retired from modding. I haven’t had a chance to try it, but one of the callout mods I’ve installed suggests it.
Anyone running it on current build?

YakinDaks got a reaction from sinusphi in Does Scene Manager Still Work?Yeah, I bit the bullet and installed it. Seems to work great, no troubles so far. Much nicer than dealing with AI constantly driving into you and others.

YakinDaks got a reaction from Buford T Justice in LSPDFR will not loadYour SHVDN log seems to indicate and that you are missing the “scripts” folder as well as the “ScriptHookVDotNet.ini” file I’m not overly familiar with these logs as SHVDN is known to cause crashes.
Try and resolve those issues and see if you get any further.

YakinDaks reacted to Yasd in My LSPDFR crashing after instaling Police menuYakinDaks is right, update RageNativeUI in the main gta folder,
update CalloutInterfaceAPI.dll (from Plugin SuperCallouts) in the main gta folder
To prevent your crash set the Ragepluginhook TImeout Threshold to 60000:

YakinDaks got a reaction from Ben2122 in lspdf crashes at startup. tips would be great too thxDid you install your vehicles within the mods folder? If so, rename it to _mods and see if the game launches.

YakinDaks got a reaction from Ben2122 in lspdf crashes at startup. tips would be great too thxFrom my understanding the mods folder contains any changes to models and textures such as clothing, weapons, static objects, and vehicles. This way the game pulls that data from the folder, leaving the base game data intact. So when you rename the folder, the game runs off the base data.

YakinDaks got a reaction from Ben2122 in lspdf crashes at startup. tips would be great too thxYeah, it disables everything in that folder. It’s likely whatever you last added is causing the issue.
Unfortunately, I can’t direct you on how to fix it aside from rebuilding your “mods” folder from scratch. If you have the storage space, you should make a backup of your GTA V directory prior to installing additional mods. That way if it something goes wrong (which is pretty much guaranteed at some point), you can rollback to the stable folder.

YakinDaks got a reaction from cherryaerie in Modding Help - Very new to PC gaming, Self Teaching. If you’re interested, the problem with Thero’s pack seems to be that the carcols.meta included is blank, so it must be excluded. I followed the install instructions from the video on the mod page (which is a bit different from the usual method) and it works excellent, though I may make a tutorial myself as the narration is a bit unorganized.
Definitely make backups of your GTA V directory as you go. I’ve made a habit of only installing one or two mods at a time, testing them, then copying my directory and labeling it “Stable” with the date. Anything goes wrong after an install, just revert back to the stable build. Saves a lot of headaches, especially after hours of modifying xmls.
I’m kinda surprised you’ve gotten this far. I wouldn’t have thought the game would run on a Mac as they aren’t typically suited for gaming.
Left Control + P is the default to bring up the ELS interface display.
That’s unfortunate. It’s definitely more difficult to mod than say a Bethesda game, but there’s a certain rewarding feel to it once you understand and things start working smoothly.
Best of luck to you!

YakinDaks reacted to cherryaerie in How to get more random criminals in LSPDFRImmersive Ambient Events, Super Events, and Ransom Ambience are all mods that will give you ambient events throughout the map. Likewise, Riskier Traffic Stops will allow for a variety of outcomes to traffic stops, instead of it being the same routine over and over again.

YakinDaks got a reaction from TastefulPsycho in EUP Menu Not workingJust to verify, you only one have one RageNativeUI file in the GTA V directory yes? Is the EUPMenu plugin loaded? You can force it to load by entering LoadPlugin EUPMenu.dll in the console.
You definitely want to use the latest version. The one that comes with EUP is outdated.

YakinDaks got a reaction from Lennyy in Mod Suggestions? (HUD, Callouts, Etc.)Alright, I’ve got SimpleHUD running now, it’s great. Had to remove some of my callouts. Not sure which one was the problem, but my game is running much more stable now. I’ve installed 686, really enjoy the dynamics of it versus others I’ve tried.
Still get a few LSPDFR plugin crashes, but they’re much less frequent now. Also added GrammarPolice. Didn’t think I’d enjoy it, but it’s freed my hands up versus going through the menus.
I’d like to try the FoSA mod, just hesitant as I’m only on a laptop. Might tax my memory a tad much.

YakinDaks reacted to Lennyy in Mod Suggestions? (HUD, Callouts, Etc.)Hi YakinDaks, love to see you finding your way back to LSPDFR after a long break!
I‘m sure I have some good recommendations for you.
You’ll have a few options here:
-PLD (PlayerLocationDisplay)
-SimpleHUD
-RageShowMyLocation
Personally I always used PLD however SimpleHUD looks really good (haven’t tried myself)
When I actively played, I never had a setup without Forests Of San Andreas Revised. The trees make the game a lot more enjoyable. Sometimes you even forget where you are simply because you don’t recognise the area you’re in due to the different environment.
For that I can recommend 686Callouts from @Charlie686 for you. That pack has a lot of calls that work more like an actual police officers day-to-day tasks like fare dodgers, disoriented individuals and subway disturbances.
Just to name a few mods that came straight to my head when reading about your requests 🙂
