Los Angeles Sheriff's Department ⋘ By Trupel ⋙ Hello! This is my first upload on LSPDFR and only the second time I've made a texture for a car, so it may not be perfect. This pack aims to make very accurate LASD liveries. Lots of research and dedication went into this pack, so I hope you like it! It currently offers both Los Angeles and Los Santos liveries, with other lore-friendly liveries such as Davis and Vinewood. A Los Angeles Police Department pack is planned (no planned release date), and I might make a Blaine County version of this pack (big maybe). Check out my California Highway Patrol pack to go along with this one! | VEHICLES | LIVERIES PLANNED CONTENT I have a few more final plans for this pack before I consider it complete; more vehicles such as the 2001 Lenco BearCat, 2009 Dodge Charger Pursuit, 2014 BMW R 1200RT, 2018 Ford Police Interceptor Sedan, Third Generation Ford Expedition, and a Fourth Generation Ford Expedition. I may create a Los Angeles Police Department pack to go along with this Los Angeles Sheriff Department pack, but not anytime soon as I'm more focused on my Orange County Project. Criticism is accepted! I want this to be accurate to their real-life counterparts so if there's anything inaccurate feel free to point it out!
I really like this, I've been wanting a GrammarPolice texture that had little icons. Reminds me of Police Smart Radio.
I love it, the effort put into this really shows. I'm a person who always gets annoyed with inconsistent grammar, not only is this consistent with grammar, but it has a wide variety of questions and responses that make your LSPDFR experience feel realistic, sometimes I use this instead of the callout or whatever plugin wants me to do. Bonus points on the menu being clean and organized.
I don't know what the other review is talking about, it's a good car. Adds more variety to your LAPD fleet.
Finally! An NHP-based pack using the silver design! NHP has my second favorite car design behind the CHP and it's about time they get the quality love they deserve. I'm also happy my suggestion for the CVPI was heard out! The old CVPI design with push bar text looks amazing and is a good way to still remember the blue NHP livery. Also, it's just nice to have an ELS Valor pack with a large variety of cars (and with reflective liveries!). 5/5 looks amazing with the LSMPD pack.
Surprised this pack never got a review, anyways, the pack has some cons but its pros make up for it: PROS: The livery itself is perfect, the "POLICE" text is nice and bold and it just looks really clean. I may be wrong, but it's one of the few Vegas-based and SLR packs that uses Kane104's 2016 and 2020 FPIU. The emergency lighting is amazing too, I love Vegas's rotators and pretty minimal lighting, it's simple. Also, the SLR lightbar used is incredibly detailed too. Something many Vision packs don't have... an interior receiving just as much love as the exterior! No weird floating lights when opening the trunk and a trunk that actually has stuff inside it! The HUGE variety of cars! Your LSMPD fleet will have diverse vehicle types with sedans, SUVs, trucks, a motorcycle, and even a K-9 CVPI! CONS: All cars but the 2020 FPIU and possibly the motorcycle will have two different shades of white, but that can be fixed. The only inaccuracy is that it lacks the "METRO POLICE" text on the push bar, a unique detail I love about Vegas police cars. Those two are the only real cons I have, the rest is just a bunch of "I wish it had" stuff like it not including an FPIS or Tahoe, ELS-compatible lighting, etc. But overall, it's a really good pack 5/5.
This is the first car pack I first used, I loved this pack when I first saw it on Jeff Favignano's video on it. A pack being SEVEN years old it's still really good. It's one of the few ELS rotator packs WITH Las Vegas-style cars, it has a large variety of cars to complete the Vegas-style fleet, and the ELS lighting is just perfect. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about it, sure, the vehicle models are old but it's an old pack so I won't be barking up that tree. To simplify everything I said... this pack still holds up today.
  1. Looks really good, never expected an LAPD livery to look so good on an LVMPD model!
  2. Happened to me with the NYPD pack, I think it's because of the latest update the new police5 car overrides the addon car.
  3. Looks cool! Looks similar to the ones in my city. Any plans for a 2020 FPIU?
  4. Will this work with "Forests of San Andreas" by Larcius?
  5. Love it, reminds me of LVMPD vehicles.
  6. I devoured that one body cam clip from the trailer.
  7. I hope this pack will make a return, I'd love updated and new cars like a 2020 Explorer and Tahoe.
I love this car, I live in OC and I love how well-made this is! It really makes me go patrol out in the county more.
  8. Protect and serve, even if they're gay.
  9. I'm completely new to LSPDFR and just learned how to install ELS vehicles manually. I'm very lost on how to install this to LML and convert it, I've tried learning with YouTube videos and other posts on this site but it's not helping me. I love Las Vegas vehicles and this is the best one I've probably seen, especially since it has a K-9 Crown Victoria and I want to use this pack to replace both police and sheriff cars. If anyone is fine with giving me an easy-to-understand, step-by-step tutorial on how to download this pack I would greatly appreciate it. If my inexperience is bothering you, I apologize but I seriously don't know what I'm doing.
  10. Looks awesome, almost like my city's police vehicles. I'll be trying it out later today, however, will you be making other PD vehicles with this kind of texture? Like a Charger and an Explorer?
