  1. There's two main one's I know of, and those are dsound (included in installation of LCPDFR and recommended ASI Loader) and xliveless (removes requirement for GFWL).
  2. I've recently started fooling around with Minecraft, and in the process, I've learned that this mod was recently updated. So I've installed it, tweaked it a bit, and well....this is the end product.... Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GWz2PHXrBM Screenshots Information For the time being, you must have a somewhat high spec computer to run this mod. It is VERY heavy on your system resources. Download and install at your own risk. All information and details regarding the mod can be found on the video's description (linked above). Thanks and hope you enjoy :D -Mai
  3. Those two vehicles are the same, just looking at them at different angles. :D
  4. Nice job!
  5. Read here if you are having Windows 8 issues regarding GTA IV.
  6. Alternatively you can also find the Game4Video ENB right here on LCPDFR.com.
  7. Off-Topic- Here's the link for those who requested. http://www.skinpacks.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=43
  8. Yes, this is Windows 7; but it's sexy in my opinion. ^^
  9. Indeed a dense thread. The world's not going to end, and if something proves me wrong, fuck it.
  10. It's a good intro, but I think it's a bit too long. A general intro is usually 5-15 seconds, with 15 seconds being the maximum so people don't get bored before the video even starts. Just my two cents.
  11. What graphics card do you currently have installed on your rig? And how much video memory? If you have a Nvidia Card: - Right Click on Desktop - Click Nvidia Control Panel - On the very bottom left, click System Information
  12. It seems like they're conducting a standard felony stop, correct me if I'm wrong
  13. Harper would know this as we've nagged it enough: Cop movie: End Of Watch. Military Drama: Jarhead, Full Metal Jacket, and Brothers.
  14. In short, the Sheriff's Office deals with jails and the Police Department does street policing. Although there are about 10-15 patrol deputies around the county at one time, that's about it. :)
  15. If I ever do want a career change, I'd probably go back into my studies at a college and earn a degree in Criminal Justice for the sake of it. After that I'd most likey be joining the Fairfax County Sheriff's Office/ Police Department (Most boring place to be a policeman) or Virginia State Police. Just as Harper said, LAPD or CHP is the goal for the future, just as soon as the money turns up OR he marries my (unaware) sister. :P Fairfax County Sheriff's Office Fairfax County Police Department Virginia State Police Department California Highway Patrol Los Angeles Police Department OR for some odd reason, life's lead me to live in Nicolai's basement..... /lol?D:
  16. Topics are closed for a reason and are handled very well by the Community Team. If you don't think they're doing their job, feel free to report it to Management. Now onto your question Downloading: First off, you'll want to download SparkIV here. After you have downloaded the software, you'll need to find a decent looking Washington State Patrol skin on the internet. I've taken the time to find you one on our very forums, here. Following that, you will need to find a suitable Crown Victoria (Or anything else) model to fit with the skin. I've chosen the following one for demonstration purposes. Software usage and installation: Now you're set to actually apply the skin. First off, extract SparkIV into a folder, and open it. Then, you will need to click the GTA IV icon on the top left, leading you to its directory view. Scroll down to the bottom and navigate to models\cdimages and double-click the vehicles.img. Then, once you're inside the img file, navigate to your top tool bar and select the "Import" button. If you haven't already, extract the vehicle from its RAR and import the file named "Police" or "Police2", and click Import. After you have imported the files, scroll down until you find the imported file. You need to click on it once, and then navigate to the tool bar and click "Edit" Once you're inside Edit Mode for the vehicle, find the following: police_sign_1, police_sign_2, police_sign_3, and police_sign_4.(They may also be named other things such as cvpi_sign_1. As long as it has sign_number, it's the one you want.) Select police_sign_1 and navigate to the toolbar selecting "Import Texture" and import the Washington State Patrol skin you downloaded before. You will have to repeat the same process of importing for the other 3 police_sign's. If you still need assistance, refer to the following video, here. (Credits to marc235786) If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. Best Regards, Mai
  17. Have you checked your available hard-drive space? Fraps usually stops recording automatically when it detects a insufficient amount of space left on your hard drive. It is recommended for you to have at least 15% of your hard-drive available so Fraps may record or even have a separate drive dedicated to it. Try to defrag your hard-drive(s) and delete any unnecessary large files.
  18. I personally don't know why someone would ever want a Tablet or Android styled OS on their desktop, it's pointless, useless, and basically impractical for use with a keyboard and mouse. I'm aware that Windows 8 has the normal desktop feature just as 7, but I don't see a difference between the two. Adding to this, most programs games aren't compatible with Windows 8 (As far as I know). I'll skip 8 and wait for a hopefully successful Windows 9 :P
  19. *cough* Sam *cough* lolololol In my opinion, Android's the way to go. Cheaper and more customization options, but again it's my opinion.
