After a long time, I decided to install GTA4 on my new laptop. So I installed GTA 4 first, then installed the current patch and the current Windows Live. It started immidiatly and I created a new offline profile, because I can't login with my GFWL account (but that don't care, I won't play online). Then I clicked on "Start" and the loading screen was visible, for at least 4 hours until I quit the game with the task manager. So I wanted to change the graphic settings but I couldn't. There also stands that 239MB of 29MB graphic RAM were used. Can someone help me, that I can change the graphic settings, find the reason for that strange information about the 239mb used of available 29mb graphic ram and finally start the game??? I got: Win 8.1 Intel Core i5-4200U, 1,6Ghz 8GB RAM NVIDIA GEFORCE 820M

I had the same problem. Reinstalled GTA IV twice and now it works.

No, nothing of both. Getting this message everytime: Games for Windows - LIVE The profile could not be signed into LIVE. There may be a network problem or the Windows Live ID service may not be available I changed my password, connected my GFWL account with my socialclubaccount again, but still, nothing.

I got a problem with windows live. I can't log in during the game, since I remember. I would like to play LCPD:FR online but never could. Everytime it says that my internet connection is not available but it is.

Problem solved. I meant GTA but I edited several txt's and now all is fine. Also doesn't crash anymore, Thank you really much!

I completely reinstalled GTA IV and manual installed LCPDFR 1.0 and the Hotfix. I had chosen one of the ASI Loader, but the game still doesn't want to start. I remember that I had to delete one file and edit another, but don't remember which.... was it the scripthook? I also installed the latest GTA patch and ,everything posted in the other topics, from DirectX to windowslive. Changed the AdvanceHook.dll too, but it wont start.

I installed Version 1.0a with the Hotfix. Yes, i uninstalled trafficflow several time, nothing. Yes I installed many vehicle and ped mods. And also ELS 7.0

Hey, my game crashes without any reasen, e.g. during traffic stops, status updates and extremly often during callouts! I own a legal copy of GTA 4 with the latest patch. The only other mod I installed is trafficflow. I got Windows Vista with the latest Update. That sounds really good, hope it could be realized. Wouldn't it be possible to take a SWAT Helmet from the trunk ?

Hey guys, I got some ideas to improve lcpd:fr. Would it be possible to to develop a system for giving orders to your partner, maybe to use his taser, stopping the traffic or move to a position . My next idea was that you can take (or choose) equipment from your trunk, like a helmet or a M4 for heavy shootouts. And please, could you make the other cops less agressive, I really hate it when your in a fight with someone and your partner or other cops firing five million bullets on him. Greetz Basher
