  2. So I need some help with something that's getting really frustrating. I recently started working on making an SAHP Declasse Alamo 2600LS that I want to release in an SAHP minipack I'm working on. All the work I've done has since been successful, but now at the very tail end of the mod work, it's having trouble. So, I've pulled the majority of the parts (antennas, bullbars, puck antenna, and black box) from Pumpk1in's SAHP Buffalo SX onto the Alamo 2600LS (original car model is by IlayArye, but I pulled the police version by Sgt_Jhonny). Once I exported the car and attempted to load it into GTA, it crashed to desktop. Of all the parts I transferred over, I found that the issues were being caused by the puck antenna, and the black box, because the car works with no trouble when I don't have them installed. I don't understand why they aren't working, because the other antennas and bullbars work fine. Additionally, they also work with no issue on a custom SAHP Scout I made as part of this pack (based on Nacho's 2020 Scout). I have them set up on both cars as Extras, so there shouldn't be any issues to the puck and the black box, but the Alamo crashes the game whenever I try to load it in. Does anyone know what causes this, and how do I remedy the issue so I can make my minipack work?
  3. I know about editing the weapon and animation meta. What I'm asking is how to I make the AUDIO of the shots faster. I set my Combat MG to fire at approximately 750 RPM through the weapon and animation meta files, but the sound of the gun still sounds like its shooting at 515 RPM. How do I adjust the AUDIO of the gun to be faster?
  4. Hello all, I recently got into doing weapon mods for LSPDFR, and one of the things I wanted to do is adjust weapon sounds to better suit the models. I'm looking to start with the Combat MG and make the sounds faster to sound less like the Rate of Fire from an M60, and more like that of an M249. I used Audacity to make the speed up the file , but after I replaced and re-imported the sound files, it's still the same slow sound of fire. What did I do wrong?
  5. I did. The issue was being caused by ELS. Because the car packs I use have the extras as additional parts I can toggle, I think ELS read them as the actual extras for the lights. Once I removed ELS, since I don't even use it, everything started working again.
  6. Hello everyone, I just came across this while doing some livery stuff in LSPDFR. On the LAPD cruisers, I know the last three digits of the shop number are the same ones for the roof. But what are the first two digits for? I've seen the CVPI's and Chargers with the digits between 83- and 89-. But the new Taurus and Explorers with 80- through 82-. What are those prefix numbers for?
  7. Is there a way to remove controller mapping for DLS? It's interfering with my ability to handle calls and I don't see anything that tells me how to disable it for controller, but keep it on keyboard
  8. I'm in a dilemma and I need help. I have a collection of mod cars through some mod packs, but some of the Extras in the car won't spawn in on the car when I select them. This is parts like the bull bars or the spotlights, but some other parts work fine and spawn in and out, like the ALPR readers, and coffee cup (some packs just have those). I don't know why its doing this. Is it that I'm running out of available space in my config, or my pack and/or heap adjuster? It's driving me mad because I can't see what are the extras that are available are when I try to select them.
  9. How do I use the UI on DLS? It says to press Z and when I do that, nothing shows up. Also, how do I check my DLS button maps from keyboard to my controller?
  10. Hello everyone, I am trying to get DLS to load, but for some reason, it just crashes once I start it up. Attached is the log entry: I should mention I tried to change the sirens since I have a custom CHP siren that replaces SIREN_WAIL_03 and SIREN_QUICK_03, but I put in the appropriate lines of code in the xml config. If anyone can please tell me what to do, I would greatly appreciate it.
  11. Hello everyone! I recently just got into playing LSPDFR and I've been having fun using the SAHP Bravado Buffalo SX (link here: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/sahp-bravado-buffalo-stx-dls). My only contention is that it just uses the generic FIB siren, and I want to change that particular siren to be the ones used by the CHP. I've found various examples of it, but I don't know exactly how to replace the FIB sirens, because most (if not, all) of these mods change the default siren that the regular LSPD cars use. I would rather replace the FIB sirens because I don't plan on using the FIB cars at all. Can someone walk me through how to change just those sirens? Once I learn how to change those, I plan on adding the appropriate IRL sirens for the Sheriff and LSPD cars as well.
