  1. Welp guys, walked that stage today. Put another page in the ol' resume. Now the fun begins :)
  2. SteelReign commented on Pengi's gallery image in GTA IV Galleries
  3. 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, supercharged 4 door grocery getter. And in 23 days, a nice French and Navy blue Crown Vic/Impala.
  4. I was having the same problem with the lights, it was so bad I just took ENB off. But I'll give it another shot with these settings. Thanks
  5. I'll try ONE more time, LOL well I'll be a monkeys ass....it was that MSI Afterburner that was responsible. Thanks for your patience Matosh, you're a life saver.
  6. Yup, redownloaded the game via Steam. Reinstalled all my LCPD:FR mods and it works flawlessly. As soon as I copy the ENB folders/files to their respective places, it crashes before/at the main menu. System specs: Q6600 2.4ghz quadcore, ATI 5870 1GB video card, 4GB ram. MSI Afterburner may be on, I'll turn that off
  7. Congrats G17! Earlier this year I almost gave up trying to play this game (or GTA 4 for that matter) but whatever you guys did in the last 7 months worked wonders and now I can play smoother than I ever imagined. Thank you guys for never giving up and constantly improving on the game!
  8. I give up. I was never meant to run ENB. I've tried this in the past and couldn't get any of them to work, and today I've tried a fresh install, copy and pasted ENB files and still crashes before main screen. Fudge this
  9. I was having trouble with Sparks IV also, just move ALL Sparks files (including .exe) into the main GTA directory worked for me.
  10. Validating all Steam files for GTA, then I'll try again
  11. Thought so, but I took the files out and it still crashes. Just tried ChineGreenElvis', and that ENB crashes before it gets to main screen also. Gonna give up for now and try icehancer
  12. I've made backups of files ENB replaces. Each ENB that I've tried and had crash, I just replace original files and the game works fine, so its no rush to figure out my problem since I'm still able to play the game without it. I'm getting ready to try ChinaGreenElvis' ENB
  13. Game4Video, Vucko 6.0, and some other generic named ENB that I just saved as 'ENB' so I dont know who's it was.
  14. Guys, I've tried 3 or 4 different ENBs and none of them work. My game keeps crashing before it even gets to the loading game selection screen (where you pick original or EFLC). I made sure to download ENB's compatible with 1.07 since I have Steam but I can't figure it out. I have the mod that deletes the opening Rockstar logo's, could that be the problem? One of the versions I tried actually made it to the selection screen but thats where it crashed. Edit: Oh and I also have InjectSMAA mod also
  15. Awesome pack, Im trying to put it all together but I can't find that specific CVPI by
  16. Ive downloaded the V2 .zip 10 times now, every time I extract it, I get 3 missing items. Is this normal?
  17. and actually go to the police station after activating LCPD
  18. I wasn't trying to play the campaign while on duty I was just loading the game up normally without even enabling Alt+P for LCPD or Alt+Delete for Bravehearts script and it wasn't workin. I'll try it your way and report back
  19. Stupid question, but how come I cant pull over a car while actually playing the single player campaign? There's a mission right after you kill Vlad that you have to steal a cop car and pull over 3 vans to check them, Shift isn't working.
  20. Mine used to do that even back when I was using ELS v.5, I gave up trying to change it
  21. Just another quick check in. We're a mere 48 calender days away from graduation Just finished 2 weeks of firearms and 1 week of EVOC. I found out Monday that I'll be receiving the EVOC Award at graduation for being top in the class. Firearms I was close, but about 3-4 away from the top. The next few weeks will comprise of Field Sobriety Testing, Traffic Stops/Accident Investigation, then ROPE (roleplayers/scenarios/respond to 'calls' and basically where we tie everything we've learned together). Jesus Christ this can't come fast enough!
  22. Not a pursuit, but I just saw my department has at least 4 new Caprice. http://policecarwebsite.net/yet/rwcar4k/aa268.jpg http://policecarwebsite.net/yet/rwcar4k/aa267.jpg http://policecarwebsite.net/yet/rwcar4k/aa271.jpg
  23. Just checkin in here guys with a quick update. I'm 6 weeks in and finally starting to love it. The first 2 weeks were full of DI's in your face giving out some good stress inoculation, lol. It was also filled with a lot of group punishment even if just 1 guy screwed up which really had me wishing that those people would just quit but I'm finally starting to see it working, my whole attitude has change and I'd rather see those people succeed and help them through it than to see them give up. We just got through one of the more difficult courses (Constitutional Law), already got OC'd (my second time, still sucked as much as the first), and we've been starting our weekly defensive tactics sessions which are proving quite challenging physically (and mentally). All kidding aside, its definitely the most challenging and rewarding decision I've made in my life, and the last 2 weeks have literally flown by so I hope the next 4 months go by just as fast.
