  1. Did you know that more tow truck drivers are killed then Police, Fire & EMS combined every year on roadsides? Do you know how many tow truck drivers died last week? but you never hear anything about them, why? because it isn't news worthy.. so I am well aware of the stress of knowing I may not come home.. this is not something new, clearly you didn't get the part where I said, I DON'T talk to cops unless I have I have too, whether it be at an MVA or otherwise. Sorry, but there is no reason for a person to feel a cop is not approachable.
  2. Who said I was judging you? if your thinking I meant all trained the same way that's not what I meant.. You make it sound like being a cop is the most stressful job out there, You deal with the general public on a daily basis, how isn't it common sense to be personable?
  3. So because my opinion is different from yours, it's ignorant? go hug a tree.. all cops are trained the exact same & to be honest they are there to serve the public, if they can't handle their job by not being personable & ignorant all the time they shouldn't be cops, period, if I had the attitude the vast majority of them had, I'd get fired.. & FYI I've never had a bad interaction with a cop.. Where in what I said did I say anything about 99% of them being bad? Feel free to ask how much I care about your "experience" in the ACADEMY, if your not a cop, then by all means, please, sit down. The bad ones make headlines everywhere before the good ones do, is that so shocking?
  4. In all fairness, cops in the U.S tend to have loose fingers on the trigger & seem to kill a lot of people & get off the hook, now don't get me wrong, I respect the job they do to a certain degree, about 99.99% of the time they are not nice to anyone & are quite ignorant, I deal with the Police on scene of MVA's on a regular basis & if I don't have to talk to them, I don't, unless it's about the vehicle I'm about to drag out of a tree or ditch, however, they cut us tow truck operators a lot of slack when they let us through DUI checkpoints, other then that, I don't deal with them.
  5. Oh look, cops giving some of your tax dollars back lol
  6. The RCMP & HRP still use the Crown Vics, funny thing though, the RCMP in my area just got a new slicktop CVPI..
  7. Wanna know the truth? no one in this community gives a shit about anyone but either themselves, unless they're in a "group" & still, even they talk shit about their "friends", so my friend, if you want to mod, I'd suggest learning to convert & make models out of what you convert for yourself.
  8. It's going to be a long time before the CVPI is completely faded out, die hard Crown Vic lovers won't let them die out, if anything, they will be restored & put back on the road for many years to come, you still see the old PPV Caprice on the road, the Crown Vic will still be the same, although they are not for Police use anymore, somewhere in Ontario they hold meets for Panther owners.
  9. I had this problem like a year ago, & can't remember what I did to fix this problem, I doubt it's the models because I've been using them for quite some time & haven't made any changes to anything, but for some reason, police vehicles & only police vehicles stick to the ground in the middle of the road, if I jump out whilst driving, the car stops dead in the middle of the road, but I can drive them, AI cannot, so heres a video of my problem, any ideas? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffyx_uL7kms&feature=youtu.be

That a 2004? cause it's got them hideous 2004 rims lol
  11. He would have to get a pardon from the court, should have known that before he applied, here I think if you apply to the RCMP & they find something you didn't mention you can be either disqualified for up to 3 years or indefinitely, meaning, no chance of reapplying, should have does his homework first.
  12. The lenses on the Liberty II look all fogged out, I don't like it.
  13. If it's completely different, why name it the same thing? lol the average person be like "It's a damn light stick thingy".
  14. That kind of cash you can budget, especially if your take home is at LEAST $1200/month, trust me it does sound like a lot of money, but some insurance companies only want a certain % of the final cost example: my insurance was $2000.00/year, I put down 20% which came out to $260, then I paid $140/month, I have a PERFECT driving record in 7 years, my monthly cost of insurance is now $108.62, you can also enquire about different payment methods as well I'm to what best suits you & your budget.
  15. $1100 wouldn't be paid all at once, your over thinking it.
  16. Really? $1100 every 6 months doesn't sound that bad, when I insured my crown vic it was almost 2 grand.. that's just a little less then $140/month, now I pay $1500/ year with full coverage, they're going to rape you no matter where you go if you just got your license, it may seem like a lot, but it's really not, keep your driving record good & your premiums might go down.
  17. What gets on my nerves is, all this hate from Canadians saying it's no surprise, like it should effect the Canadian people, as if this happens in Canada like it does in the states.. makes me wild when Canadians have this delusion American cops are Canadians or just Americanized Police..
