My local department has 4 of them, 1 slicktop, 1 with a Whelen EDGE 9000MM Strobe lightbar. 1 with a Code 3 Defender and 1 with a whelen Liberty.

I personally go for the "professional" look rather than the sporty, I use Cj24's Halifax Regional Police CVPI, iiMcdermotts RCMP CVPI Joker Mods newest CVPI and Tim98's O.P.P Cruiser he released yesterday as well as gfxles' Halifax Regional Police GMC Savanna, all are pretty good good choices. I personally don't like rambars, but I go for a CVPI a Whelen Liberty (favorite kind of lightbar) and HAS to have headlights strobes, or to me, it's just boring and plain.

I think I have to disagree with the old police car statement, I don't think anyone who want's to own a Crown Vic is a "Police nut", that's like saying everyone who owns a new Taurus is a cop nut, when almost all police agencies are going to them and I see a lot of people who aren't law enforcement own them, same thing with the charger

All I can say is not likely, they have a specialized Civillian Police Units for that, out here in Nova scotia they have S.I.R.T (Serious Incident Response Team) who investigate the Halifax Regional Police and surrounding N.S PD's like Truro Police, Cape Breton Regional Police, Bridgewater Police, RCMP investigate the RCMP, which is probably why almost everything they do goes unpunished.

As for light's it is against the law for tow truck drivers to have red/blue red/white light's so we have to have yellow, Nova Scotia is pretty strict about lights no red/blue no blue/blue no red/red just white yellow or anything that doesn't signify emergency vehicle. (which a tow truck IS a First Responder)
